Caveat: This was a Door Dash order. So my main complaints (lobster roll and bun were cold, fries were soggy) are likely related to the time it took for delivery. I really wish I had gotten to eat it fresh. But my other criticisms are valid! - Connecticut lobster roll: The bun was soft and buttered to perfection. The lobster was a generous portion and very fresh. My only complaint is that it was cold, but that's what I get for doing a Door Dash order with a long predicted delivery time. The fries (which were not crisp, likely due to the delivery time) had zero seasoning. I would have expected Old Bay seasoning or at least salt. My delivery order didn't come with any ketchup either. - Lobster bisque: Interestingly, Door Dash had a promotion for BOGO lobster bisque. But the lobster meat was scant (it was just a big bowl of cream essentially), so I actually threw away the second bowl and didn't finish the first bowl. All in all, I was glad to have tried the food here. I definitely recommend ordering the lobster roll (ask for condiments for the fries!), but don't waste money on the lobster bisque unless they change the recipe (aka actually add lobster meat).
To start the service was great!! We tried to lobster bisque which was so good, the lobster roll trio, they were ok, the lobster was a bit chewy. The clam chowder was 100/10! The crab fries were really good. I would come back for soup and crab fries.
My husband surprised me with a late night dinner at Steami's. The restaurant felt empty and cold, not cozy at all. The table I sat at was a little sticky. This is more of a fast casual place so we placed our order, picked it up and then sat down at a table. The clam chowder was watery, bland and did not have a lot of clams. I had to try to scoop something up several times before I took a photo of it. The side salad was decent but nothing thrilling my husband's shrimp roll was overcooked and underwhelming. My Connecticut lobster roll was not hot and the lobster was briny. I appreciated that it was real lobster and that I received a good bit of it. The bread wasn't toasted as much as I'd like, it was too soft for me and started falling apart.
Yooooo. Yum. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. It's not cheap: about $40 for a shrimp/lobster sandwich and the shrimp roll + a coke. They don't skimp out on the portions! Left feeling stuffed and happy. I was a bit worried because of some of the negative reviews, but everything tasted extremely fresh and smelled delicious. Simple area, but everything seemed clean. Will definitely be back.
Everything thing about my experience here was great!! Cute, simple, clean, customer service and food A+++ Me and my son where greeted with a smile and she was very helpful, offering suggestions on saving me money. We ordered Connecticut Lobster roll, Lobster and cheese grilled cheese, and there loaded fries.... all AMAZING...yummy, yummy! It's a really simple space, nothing over the top but very clean. It was worth the 1 1/2 drive home. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend you stop, I surly will.... AGAIN!!!
As the name suggests, their lobster was great. Solid lobster rolls. Sweet, and fresh. The other orders however, led to a deduction in one star. Crab roll was like a salad mix- no lump of crab meat. Tasted stale. Lobster bisque tasted like a cup of heavy cream with little other flavors. Clam chowder was good tho
Wow what an unbelievable flavor overload!! It is a small space in a strip mall but they deliver awesome flavor! I took my lunch date here and we got the lobster roll and the shrimp roll with a side of fries, a side of clam chowder, and a couple of waters. That was over 50! But hold on... everything was really good! Clam chowder: thick base, creamy soup, heavy on the butter flavor, with lots of potato! (Didn't get a lot of clam) Fries: cooked right.. crispy with good seasoning! Lobster roll: loaded with lobster in a toasted buttery Texas toast like bun. The lobster is in a white sauce that is ok... but really doesn't add a bunch of anything to the dish. For me this was good but the white sauce was not necessary... it either needs to add something to the overall dish or just take it away. Shrimp roll... this was the BOMB DIGGITY! The sauce was great! The buttery Texas toast bun was a perfect match, The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and each bite was a little bit of heaven! In fact put this sauce on the lobster role and you'd have a "Rock Lobster" (straight out of the B52s) for sure! It is an order at the counter, pay, and they bring out the food when it is ready place. The service was good, the place was clean and nice, and the food rocked!! I'll be back here just as soon as I can! It is a bit pricy but ohhhh man it is worth it!
Small space in a local strip mall, this is truly a hidden gem! Bright atmosphere and clean interior. Orders are placed either at the counter or handy self service kiosk. They have soft drinks, water snd seltzers in nearby coolers. We ordered a crab roll, Maine lobster roll, fries and clam chowder. Prices were reasonable for the portions which were fairly decent. Food was well seasoned, tasty and seafood was fresh. Clam chowder was creamy and rich. Lobster roll was full with big chunks of lobster and minus filler, same for the crab roll. Fries were hot and crisp. The young lady who took our order and brought our food was very nice. This spot is a fairly long commute for us 30 miles or so but worth the drive.
$$ ($25-35pp) Food: * * * * Service: * * * * Ambiance: * * * A very inconspicuous place, tucked away in a little shopping plaza is this little gem of a restaurant. Obviously their speciality is Lobster as the name suggests. The menu basically consists of Shrimp roll, Crab roll, Maine Lobster roll or Conneticut Lobster roll. Along with a few other sides that look delicious. We tried both of the lobster rolls, one is cold and the other is hot... along with the clam chowder and seasoned fries. Both a delicious pairing. If you don't eat seafood, there is always a nice grilled cheese that they can make as well. All and all, it was a nice experience with some good food. The rolls are a little smaller than what I am used to, but packed with flavor.
Price is average with other places. Taste too. I'm happy there's one near my because otherwise I would have to go to ATL or the one in Suwanee. If you want a cheaper option, try the sandwich instead of the rolls. Getting a set with a friend will save you money and let you try all of them at once. The Mac with lobster could be better but not bad. I would get it again.
I'm from up north so I know good clam chowder.. let me tell you something, the *fresh* clam chowder is top 2 (not #2) in Georgia... it's like 40$ for a full meal (plus a beer). Sounds expensive but man oh man I always get the main lobster roll, and it's always a tough choice between the lobster bisque and the clam chowder. If any of my friends enjoy lobster I always bring them here. lol it gets a ton of likes on my Instagram whenever I post a story. Don't expect anything crazy from the service and the atmosphere. This place is DELICIOUS!! I ordered one of the lobster rolls and it came with a side. There was plenty of meat on the roll and the bread was buttery so it melted in your mouth. As I'm writing this review, my mouth odd salivating just thinking about it. The food was filing although it may not look like it. It's very clean inside with a nice environment.
My wife and I stopped by Steami's for lunch on a Sunday. It was our first time here, and will definitely be our last. We ordered a lobster and shrimp grilled cheese, and a habanero crab grilled cheese. Both orders came with sides for a little over $40. After we took our first bites, we immediately regretted our decision. There was something off about the taste of the food. I notified the employee at the register, and asked for a refund. She responded with "We don't do refunds". After further inspection I noticed their health score was an 85, and they seemed to have lost points for not properly dating and storing their food. I wish I would have noticed the health score sooner, but it was tucked away behind the counter where it isn't obviously noticeable. My wife and I tossed our full plates and left. What a waste of money. P.S. I noticed other folks complain about their food tasting funky in their reviews, and they received refunds. I wonder why they refund some folks but not others? something's fishy here, and it isn't just the food.

This is a fast-casual spot tucked into a strip mall. It is very bright inside, and you order at the counter. They had some specials posted, which I appreciate since it shows they like to try new things. Sadly, we were disappointed with the special. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, which is a little long for fast-casual when they aren't busy. We ordered the Connecticut lobster roll, the special salmon BLT, a side of lobster bisque, and fries. The salmon grilled cheese was completely inedible. Neither of us could eat it; we took one bite each and threw it away. It had way too much special sauce, making it unbearable. The fries were okay, and it was nice that they have a house dipping sauce. The lobster roll was decent and had a good amount of meat. I wish it had been a bit more buttery, but it was still okay. The lobster bisque was really good and easily my favorite item. My only minor complaint is that it lacked a splash of sherry on top, but it was still delicious overall. As someone who has spent many years on the New England coast, I know a good lobster roll. This is an okay spot to get your fix, but it ultimately gets 3 stars because that salmon grilled cheese was just that bad. read more

I got a lobster roll and it was genuinely pretty tasty. Not too much butter but definitely frozen and you could tell. It was decent. Probably worth 10!dollars less than what was charged. The caesar salad was ok. The bisque was heavy cream and no bits of lobster. I guess you have to order that separately. At $36 it left much to be desired. I walked in and the place was totally empty at 6pm. read more

Cute spot to get some fresh lobster rolls! I came with a friend and we were decently impressed. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to you, and it came out pretty quickly. We shared a lobster roll, bisque, and fries. The bisque was my favorite part of the meal, and I'm so glad it was complimentary with just a Yelp check in! The lobster roll was pretty stuffed, and the flavor was good too. The fries were ok. Overall, I enjoyed steami's! I don't usually get lobster rolls when I go places so I can't say if they are top tier or not, but I would come back! read more
Came here off of an IG recommendation and was not disappointed. So this place is a bit far from the city but a straight shot so we went during the day before catching a movie . First impression, it's very clean inside and the food came out fairly quickly. Out of all the items pictured the only ones I wasn't a fan of were the lobster bisque and the grilled cheese with the lobster and shrimp. They didn't taste bad, but the combined flavors weren't my fav. My guy put me on the spot and had me do a Keith lee review video . I will spare you the embarrassment of the video but will say I really enjoyed the lobster roll, Mac n cheese, and the fries were delicious. Listen, if I'm back in Duluth, there's a chance I'm grabbing that Mac and cheese and trying something else off the menu! Make sure you check in. This place has a free soup with it and our server nicely added it on after we ordered. read more
After the hype died down I finally got a chance to check out Steami's Lobster! When I came in at 530 on a Wednesday it was not packed at all. The first thing I noticed was how small it was on the inside. Well, it wasn't small but it was smaller than expected based on the hype. On a busy day, seating might be a struggle. But there's plenty of free parking in the lot so take out wouldn't be a hassle. I ordered the crab roll warmed with a side of lobster bisque. The meal itself came with Cole slaw and a pickle. At the front, I got a little container to add some garlic mayo into. The crab roll was pretty good, well seasoned, and an ample enough of crab in my opinion. It tasted even better when dipped into the garlic mayo. Next time I have to get fries instead because the mayo was so good. I'm not the biggest fan of coleslaw, but I was able to indulge in this one which is a plus! I normally skip out on coleslaw but this one was pretty good. To avid Cole slaw eaters this was probably nothing special but I was a fan. The bisque was served super hot and came with little oyster crackers which I liked. I enjoyed the bisque but I think next time I'd try their clam chowder. All in all, my meal was about $25 which for a crab role I think is pretty fair pricing. I would suggest opting for Mac and cheese or fries as a side to make it a more filling meal. read more
I loved everything I got from Steami's. I was craving a lobster roll and knew I had to come here. I ordered the hot roll I believe it's called the Connecticut and it was so fresh. The lobster was sweet and succulent and the bread was so soft and good and I loved the way the butter soaked into the bread. I also ordered the clam chowder which was really good as well. I normally need to add salt and pepper to clam chowder but for this one I did not. I will definitely be back. read more

While on vacation, i decided to stop here and try a lobster roll since I've never had one. This was really good but the butter was quite salty after a while and i couldnt finish it. The service was decent and the staff helped me to make a decision on what to try. read more
Visited May 20, 2023. This place is a small fast casual restaurant incorparating fresh seafood ingredients in their items, north of Atlanta. In fear of cross contamination, I wouldn't come here if you have a high seafood allergy, hence the name of the restaurant, there is a very limited non seafood selection. I ordered the lobster roll, 5 stars for its price, taste, and portion. It was so juicy + flavorful. Everything else was good and the dining areas were clean. Inside is small so it wouldn't be good for groups larger than 5. Service was okay. There are two restrooms near the back. Parking is shared with other businesses within the plaza. Definitely worth coming for a bite if you love lobster! read more
Been meaning to try this place when it opened and finally did over the weekend. Located in a small quaint strip mall, and easy to access. I decided to try the Connecticut Roll and it was amazing! They could offer better beverages but overall the food was good. I want to try the crab grilled cheese next! read more

Finally made it to Steami's and it definitely passes the lobster roll test for me. There's only one other place in the metro area that the size of the lobster roll matches the price tag and I'm glad to say Stormi's also passes that test. I ordered the Connecticut roll, just because I wanted a warm roll rather than cold. The flavor was perfect and a squeeze of lemon really added to the flavor. Next visit I'll try the Massachusetts roll. This will definitely be my go-to spot when I'm in the area. read more
I dined at Steami's Lobster on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 5:30 pm. Food: I had the Maine lobster roll with a side of lobster bisque. The lobster roll was probably one of the best lobster rolls I had mostly because of the sizable portion and quality of the lobster. The proportion of lobster to bread was satisfying. The flavor of the lobster roll was also pretty decent. I commend that the lobster was lightly dressed with the mayonnaise so it's not overpowering the lobster flavor. The lobster bisque was average, but I'd prefer the consistency to be a slightly more thick. Ambience: A very casual atmosphere. There weren't that many diners at the time I went. You can order via in person or kiosk. Tables were mostly cleaned. Price: My only minor complaint is the price is a little expensive - about a couple of dollars more than it should be, in my opinion. I think if there was a couple more pieces of lobster, I'd consider the price to be justified. Service: Very fast. The person who took my order was friendly and answered my questions in a professional manner. Overall, a pretty expensive place but it CAN BE worth it if you're craving some lobster rolls. read more

On our journey to find the best lobster rolls in Atlanta, my friend and I decided to take the journey to Gwinnett county to Steami's. I saw this restaurant on a friend of mine's IG post and immediately said i had to have it. It was worth the drive. I got the Connecticut lobster roll (warm vs cold), which comes with yummy fries, and a cup of lobster bisque. I couldn't even finish all of my food. It was amazing. Steami's is set up like a fast casual concept-you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service is top tier, because they staff came around to check on us continuously. Even though I've lived in New England for a bit, I haven't quite found a lobster roll that I've loved (or could quite justify the price point.) But Steami's delivers where many fall short. Most places skimp on the lobster, but Steami's fills it to the brim, making sure you get your money's worth. I came in a group of 4. We ordered the Ultimate Trio and two lobster and shrimp grilled cheeses. Maybe our eyes were hungrier than our stomach, but we could have done without one grilled cheese. We were stuffed by the end. I liked the Connecticut lobster roll. I haven't tried their Maine version yet, but that would be my next try if I come back. The crab roll and the shrimp roll are good, but not my favorite. If I was going to spend $58 next time, I'd probably just order two lobster rolls. The lobster and shrimp grilled cheese is huge! We enjoyed it with the fries, which was crisp and well-seasoned. We also got the mac and cheese and clam chowder as sides. I didn't get to try the chowder, but the mac and cheese was pretty good. Overall, enjoyed my visit and would come again. If you're looking for lobster rolls in the South, this is a great place to try. read more
Came here with some friends after seeing the place on social media! I am a huge fan of lobster rolls, and will never turn down the chance to grab some, so it was great to hear that there was a place in Georgia! Steami's Lobster was in a convenient location and the menu was pretty straightforward! Our group got the Ultimate Trio, along with some Chowder Fries and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It was quite pricey, but that's just lobster in general, so I wasn't too concerned. Everything was super scrumptious and juicy, and the bread for the rolls were amazingly buttered to perfection. I think my favorite was either the shrimp roll or the Maine lobster roll... hard to choose! Overall, a delicious seafood journey! read more
