I bought a delicious Cinnamon Danish Pastry and their Signature Turkey Pesto Sandwich-- a popular one! The Owner, Umberto let me taste their homemade Hibicious Lemonade Mix, which was delightful. I absolutely love this spot in downtown Lilburn!! It is so cute inside and a very nice vibe ambiance. I have come here to just chill on the couch, get work done, or take a look at the food and drinks! I decided to try this sandwich and it was made very fresh! I'm not the biggest fan of all the cheese (just not for me), but I was a big fan of the sourdough bread!! I would go back for their cookies/brownies or to just chill inside and enjoy the vibes! Food: Good Service: Good Ambiance: Nice and clean Pricey but good. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by kind service. I was happy to find free parking in front, and it was peaceful on the inside. I ordered a caramel apple latte with coconut milk and the garam masala chicken salad sandwich. The latter was ok. The coconut milk has a bit of an aftertaste as if it was canned and that overpowered the caramel apple flavor. The sandwich was lovely. It was perfect and delicious. It had a healthy portion of juicy, chopped piece of chicken - not sliced processed deli meat chicken. The ciabatta bread was perfectly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, not think and hard at all. It was $18 but very satisfactory - to be expected when using fresh ingredients. For $1.50 more to can make it a combo with an additional drink and cookie or chips. I upgraded to the combo and got a bottle of water with a white chocolate cinnamon cookie. Cute, cozy spot with a friendly staff that greets you when you walk in. It's family friendly and does have some seating. It was busy when we walked in with nowhere to sit but by the time our sandwiches were ready, a table cleared up. I got the chai with oat milk which the staff gave me some background about and I like that you can have them sweeten it to your liking since they brew it in-house rather than using a premade concentrate. We got the Cajun turkey with pimento on ciabatta and garam masala chicken salad melt on ciabatta. Both were delicious. This is my first "bodega" experience and it's cute. Super friendly staff/owners who seem to enjoy the craftiness this place delivers and enjoy spending time chatting with their customers. The menu of sandwiches are basic sounding and I was worried I wouldn't my sandwich was not going to hit the mark. Normally I would never order a turkey and Swiss but it seemed like the best option. It was delicious. Everything blended so well together, the pesto packed a punch of flavor! I also wasn't aware they were going to toast it which was perfect. They also have breakfast sandwiches, good coffee of all kinds, unique dry pantry goods. I swung by this adorable little deli cafe market in Old Town Lilburn for lunch today. They have a lot of local goods like Honey, jams, breads, chocolates, and spices. It's a comfy place with a couple board games on the counter for patrons to play. The folks there were super kind and Humberto, the owner, is highly invested in the people and town, working with so many local vendors and neighbours. I ordered and Italian sub and it was fantastic. Just what downtown Lilburn needed, and Haven Bodega has been there long enough now to have proven itself. Just off Main Street and the park walking trail, the Bodega is a great place to have a quick brunch on Sunday (we favor lattes and the ham and cheddar melt on a croissant), coffee on your way to work, or a selection of gourmet sandwiches for a quick pick-up lunch or dinner. There are cooking classes, quick artisan gifts, a curated wine bottle selection and often fresh sourdough bread to take home. This is a true community/neighborhood spot. read more

The food is next level delish and the coffee is awesome tasting and gets me going as it's supposed to. Then there's the staff. They're all great - James, Sam, Humberto. I think I may have forgotten 2 or 3 others? Love talking to them. Great place to just hang out. Their shelves also have other really good cakes, condiments and snacks etc. Even handbags/purses and other goods. Got 3 for my nieces for this summer and they love them. My friend and I met here for lunch and had a delightful experience from the moment we walked in the door! Ava, the server behind the corner, was warm and welcoming and helpful with the menu. Humberto, one of the owners, was seated at a table next to us, and was also very welcoming and helpful in describing the sandwiches and the locally sourced food, like the amazing sourdough bread in which the sandwiches are made. I had the Garam Masala Chicken sandwich, which was incredibly delicious and a generous portion. My friend had the roast beef and goat cheese sandwich and said it was outstanding. Humberto told us about different events at Haven, such as wine tasting with live music. He even showed us a video of the previous month's wine tasting complete with live music and dancing. Love this cute little spot in the heart of Lilburn. They make an amazing Flat white with Oatmilk. They do have alternative milks. The hot cocoa they use does have dairy in it, so you can't sub plant based milk. They have unique food items from local businesses. There is a deli and they now have some vegan alternatives there for sandwiches with plant based meat and cheese. Have not tried it yet, so I'm unsure of the condiments they have for sandwiches being vegan. I have not seen any vegan baked goods. Sure hope they will get some soon. Stopped by Haven Bodega this morning after a walk at the park! I got the Iced Oat-milk Latte with the seasonal sugar cookie syrup. The customer service was amazing and everything was very fresh.
