I picked up a pastry surprise bag from Too Good To Go today, from a small café not far from home. Got there right at 6pm to collect. Honestly, I was a bit underwhelmed when I opened the bag--it included a lemon cupcake, a croissant, two small cheese buns, and a caramel cookie. The presentation was just okay, nothing too exciting. That said, I ended up having them for breakfast the next morning, and they were actually decent. Maybe I just had my hopes a little too high, but it wasn't bad--just not as special as I expected。 Later on, I checked out some reviews and saw that their empanadas look amazing--definitely something I'd like to try next time!

I was nearby with a friend, and we were both in the mood for a quick bite/snack. An acquaintance had previously mentioned that the empanadas were pretty good, so we decided to pop in. The owner was there. He was really nice and welcoming, and he gladly answered our questions before we placed our orders. I ordered a cheesy beef empanada, which is also filled with peppers and onions. I also ordered a chicken empanada with leeks and onions. I considered a café con leche, but I wasn't really in the mood. While we waited, I took a few pictures of the space. It's small with limited seating, but it's designed nicely. There were a couple of other small parties seated, but it was pretty quiet. The food took a quite a bit longer than we anticipated to be served, but when it came it was nice and hot. My favorite of the two was definitely the cheesy beef. The chicken and leek one needed more seasoning. All in all, Sanyos is worth checking out if you're in the area!

Finally tried this hidden gem after seeing videos online about it! This spot is located in the building behind a Burger King on Jimmy Carter and across from a Wells Fargo. It's in the back corner, it might be a bit hard to find at first. There is lots of (free!) parking in the area. The interior is so neat and modern! It's surrounded by plants and a cute earthy vibe to it. I tried the salted caramel iced latte! I'm not much of a latte girl but I really enjoyed this drink! My friend and I also ordered some empanadas. She ordered the ham and cheese one and I ordered a beef and a chicken. The owner behind the counter gave us a heads up that the empanadas are made to order so they would take 10-15 minutes. In the mean time we tried a slice of their Dubai chocolate cake! It was so good, the mix of flavors wasn't at all overwhelming and complimented one another, it was not too sweet! The empanadas were amazing, I'd come back just for those! My favorite was the beef one with peppers and onions, I definitely savored those last bites. The chicken was really good too! Please try this spot you won't regret it, the employees are also super kind! 10/10 experience

Officially my new coffee shop , pastry shop, and empanada craving filler!! Service is amazing and friendly, ambiance is tranquil. Perhaps I'll start my work days from here in addition to Sunday morning kickoffs! Thank you!

Cafe con Leche and a beef empanada

It's like walking into a friend's place, super cozy and inviting. I got the café con leche; after telling Jhon the type of coffee I like, he recommended the café con leche. The café con leche was absolute perfection. I also had the beef, chicken, and mushroom empanadas - all three were amazing, with the right amount of filling and a crispy crust. The beef hands down was my absolute favorite! I always get my coffee here when I'm in Atlanta.

Small, cute cafe located in a tight crowded parking lot. The aroma inside smells amazing. I tried the guava and cheese puff pastry. It was a bit mushy as if they put too much guava and cheese. I think next time I'll just opt for the croissant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Fresh costumer service! I'll be back to try their empanadas.

New coffee spot that opened in the neighborhood. There's plenty of parking so that's nothing to worry about if that's any concern. Sanyos Coffee stands out a little because they have empanadas along with pastries. Coming back from a trip from Colombia reminded me of the cafés and to look up to find a cafe in the neighborhood was nice. I mean, coffee from Refuge is great, but to get better pastries/food I would probably choose Sanyos. Inside there's seating and you're free to take it to go, but we decided to eat there. I got the Mushroom and Beef empanada along with a latte. The food was great. If I would to make a recommendation between the two, I would go with the mushroom empanada over the beef. It gives more reason of coming back and trying the other types though. One thing that sort of made me sad was that this place wasn't opened for earlier hours. Sanyos opens at 9 AM, and I wished it was opened around 8 to start the day. However, I definitely will be back to Sanyos as my morning spot (after 9..).

The food fantastic! The service so welcoming! The ambiance is the perfect setting for you to unwind and enjoy everything that their menu has to offer. Sanyos has become my favorite spot!

This is such a hidden coffee shop. I shared the mushroom empanada and the beef empanada with the former one being my favorite. I also tried the pan de bono and the cafe con leche. Both were really enjoyable. If you get the combo: 2 empanadas + drink + pastry, the pastry has to be a sweet pastry, not a savory one. I wish this place didn't open at 9am, but opened at 7-8. It would be great to stop by here before work.

I really enjoyed the empanada here! Got the ham and cheese and it was very fragrant. The texture was perfect and it was packed with filling. The matcha latte however was not my favorite, it did not really taste like matcha. It was pretty watered down. But the service here was super friendly. The space was clean and there were lots of tables to work from.

Had a quick coffee with empanadas. Decent coffee. Liked how the empanadas are designed....chicken ones had " chicken" written on the side. Kind of looked cute. Decent flavor.

I didn't get any food so I can't review that but it looked tasty. I just wasn't hungry. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very quiet, relaxing music appealing aesthetics. Coffee is fantastic. Not bitter, very flavorful and hot which I like.

A hidden gem! Whether you're planning a romantic rendezvous or a chic gathering with your girlfriends, this place sets the perfect ambiance for a lovely occasion. Things you should know: I. PARKING Tucked within a plaza, Sanyos Coffee shares a free parking lot with the adjacent businesses. You'll always be able to find an available space. II. SERVICE Kind and timely. There's free wifi, a printer, full body mirror, and recyclable utensils/straws. For the strategic thinkers among us, a chess board awaits your attention. III. QUALITY I ordered an Iced Americano to gauge the flavor of the beans. I'd say they serve a dark-roast, promising a flavor profile that dances harmoniously with their pastries. They'll package the food you order for here or to-go when asked. I'm excited to try their Orange Caramel Cake when I get home..! IV. CAPACITY Decent amount of available seating. Please show this local treasure the love and appreciation it deserves..! I want to see this business thrive for a long time.

I got a blt but added pickles and I honestly really liked it. It was simple but very tasty and the bacon was put in the toaster oven thing to get it hot and crispy after I ordered. The bread is also delicious and really nice and soft. All the sandwiches are made to order so they are somewhat customizable which is great. They also offer edible cookie dough here which is a really fun dessert option. I loved the blue sugar cookie that I tried but I do think that they should be refrigerated instead of sitting covered next to the cashier because it was a little stickier than I feel like it should be. Customer service was also pretty good. I definitely suggest checking it out if you're in the area and in the mood for a hoagie.

They have a variety of bubble tea and coffee options. It seems they probably specialize more in coffee than bubble tea, but we ordered 2 bubble teas and 1 coffee. I liked that they offered really unique flavors or mixtures for their bubble teas. Definitely not drinks we would've found at other places. The 2 bubble tea drinks were tasty and we were happy with them, but I didn't find anything particularly special about them and probably wouldn't seek out this cafe for bubble tea. But I would definitely order from here if I were in the area and looking for something to fill my sweet tooth. My husband's coffee, however, was really good especially with lychee jelly added to it! Also, the staff here was really friendly. She helped answer questions about drinks before we ordered and even helped recommend some. The cafe is very large with plenty of space to walk around for my toddler and plenty of seating if you just want to hang out. They also have a bar you can sit at while youre waiting for your drinks. You can also buy some ramen bowls here! And they have some desserts available for purchase too.
