    Takoyaki (10pc)
    Bruce K.

We came here during the weekday to check out what this market was about. Its a small Japanese neighborhood store. You can find your usual products that you find at any other Asian grocery store here, but I would say that there was more dried goods rather than fresh veggies. They also have a little cafe/restaurant inside the market though, and that's why we came. We ate lunch at the cafe. We ordered and shared a Niku Udon along with a 10 piece of takoyaki. Both were flavorful. I also got a onigiri, but I would say that it was mostly rice and not so much filling. The curry bun that I tried was flavorful and I would say that was more worth it than the onigiri.

This is a little Japanese market with a kitchen in the back. The grocery part is quite limited and pricey. But the food options include grab and go items like curry bread, bento boxes, spam musubi and different onigiri. Hot options include tempura, karaage, takoyaki, ramen, and udon. Kitchen hours are 11am to 4pm.

GO GO GOHAN MARKET | when Gohan Market first opened, everyone went crazy for it. Until recently, Japanese markets were few and far between. Gohan was the next big thing, found in an unassuming plaza of Peachtree Corners. They have most Japanese snacks and goods you can't usually find easily at the major Asian grocery stores around Atlanta. But my favorite part is the prepared foods in the back of the store. From onigiri, sandwiches (love the fruit sandwich and the katsu egg!) for on the go to sushi and ramen & curry... it's a very simple concept done well and for an affordable price. Definitely recommend checking out, even now that there is more competition around. But this location may be more convenient than the others (it is for me in Dunwoody, at least!)

Cute little shop! With lots of snacks, candies, and things you would use for cooking - pantry items, frozen, etc. No fresh produce though so don't come here for that. I enjoyed the little cute restaurant in the back! I got the Katsu Curry (which comes with pork) - they also have other curry and noodles also.

My daughter had this on her list of summer destinations. It's a great market! With hard to find Japanese grocery goods. They little diner in the back of the store was spectacular and reasonably priced. I got the tonkatsu and my daughter got some goods from the grocery section and we were able to dine right there in the store. It was great! We'll definitely be back.

This place has been on my list for a while to check out the bentos mostly. I arrived after noon sometime, so there was not much left in the way of fruit sandwiches, bentos, or musubis, but it was still fun to check out and try different, new items I've never had before. There was plenty of parking outside and the workers were all very friendly. I'll have to try the hot items you can order at the counter in the back one day, but I stuck to the grocery section for my first trip. I ended up getting the honey ball snacks - a favorite since childhood that you cannot find everywhere. They were gone in less than a week lol. I tried the pork sausages, presumably the same kind you see all over the noodle mukbang videos - like little smokies but porkier (not beef), got some takuan (pickled radish), a fruit sandwich, and tried some mayo flavored ramen. The prices were reasonable and there was a good selection of Japanese snacks and treats - more than some of the more Korean or Vietnamese based grocery stores and with way less people. Only a few others were in the store at the time, making for a quiet and peaceful shopping experience. I loved everything about the store and definitely would return to try more. My favorite things were probably the strawberry cream sandwich and mayo ramen. I would definitely get both again!

This is a cute little Japanese convenience store in Peachtree Corners. I would say the "market" section is more of a 3/5 just because the prices are so high you can definitely get better deals at other Asian stores. But the food court area is a 5/5 because the food is so good and decently priced. I love their ramen for $12 and their takoyaki for $6 because it tastes really good and is such a deal. So I would recommend coming here to try the food rather than buying snacks or other pantry items.

Very nice store with an excellent food court. The price is good and the taste and quality is there. Good menu of quick Japanese bites, and you are able to buy some snacks from around the store as well. Definitely a hidden gem in northern Atlanta

Super cute shop that has a small dining area in the back. I thought the ramen was flavorful. I got the tonkatsu ramen black. It was $12 and I felt it was worth it. My friend also got ramen and the chicken karaage.....it was nice and crispy. Also ordered the takoyaki that was very tasty....the karaage and takoyaki were served in containers you can just put a lid on if you don't finish it. Our food came out in a timely manner. You have to clean up after yourself which was fine. Afterwards we walked around the store. They have a large variety of Asian snack. Will definitely return!

a Japanese grocery store with lots of goodies and a small restaurant type store located inside. Everyone was super nice. Plenty of seating inside, you order at the counter and they bring out your food for you. Their menu consists of Japanese dishes like ramen, curries, and other dishes. We tried the: - pork katsu curry over rice: overall a solid dish and good portion size. The curry had veggies like carrots and veggies, but the curry itself for me personally was a little bland. - black tonkotsu ramen: wow 10/10. So much deep, rich flavor from the broth that blew me away. Highly recommend! - karaage: I know that it doesn't look amazing, but the chicken was so good. Crispy on the outside and the inside moist and so tender. I heard this is taking a bit of an ownership change this month so I don't know how much the menu will change. Come while you can to support and definitely get the black ramen!

Oh Gohan Market. From groceries to brunch, this place is the absolute best. The is the one stop shop for any-and-all japanese related goodies. But lets talk about food! Their ramen is an absolute 10/10. From the firmness of the noodles, deep and richness of the broth, to the overall appetizers. Its phenomenal. We got their [Tonkotsu Ramen Black], [Shoyu Ramen], and their [10 Piece Takoyaki]. Each one of them was as delicious as your minds can imagine. Soft yet firm noodles, flavorful umami broth, all topped with crunchy toppings. If you are in the area, Gohan Market is a MUST-TRY!!! i

One of if not the only Japanese owned and ran market in GA. They have fresh onigiri, sushi, breads like melon pan, and much made daily. They even have a small cafeteria area where they serve authentic Japanese dishes like katsu curry, udon, and ramen to name a few. The market itself isn't the biggest but it's jam packed with some Japanese imported items you can't find at even Assi or H-Mart which is primarily focused on Korean items. This isn't like a real market where you can find items like produce or fresh vegetables but you can find other items like frozen foods or dry goods exclusive to Japan. Can't forget about all the Japanese cold drinks and snacks too. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Japanese culture and want to get a taste of what a market is like in Japan. P.S. the melon pan sells out pretty fast. So come early for it.

This is a small Japanese-style supermarket that also has a restaurant inside. There are a few claw machines to play with, and they sell Japanese snacks, bread, rice balls, and bento boxes -- all quite tempting. They also carry some daily essentials and beauty products. The prices are a little on the high side, but still reasonable. I've tried the pork cutlet curry and the char siu ramen with a white soup base -- both tasted pretty good. The Japanese fried chicken and takoyaki were also delicious, though the portions were a bit small. Overall, it's a very nice, homey-style supermarket.

I guess they are still in business because of the delicious Vietnamese beef jerky. The name of the store says it all. They sell beef, squid, chicken, and fish jerky and pickled plums/fruits. Aside from that, they also sell plants, cross, Jesus statues, Buddha statues, Vietnamese/Chinese medicines, herbs, supplements, phone cards, etc. Sounds like heaven for Vietnamese people who live in areas where the Vietnamese population is small. We mainly came for the beef jerky and dried beef liver (for Vietnamese papaya salad) since Nashville doesn't have anything like that here... !!!!What a horrible and disgusting service. Horrible customer service and they give your food away…read moreto other clients!!! I placed two orders over a week ago. I get an email late last week saying that my order is going to be ready for pick up on a date but fails to provide the date. I called yesterday at 11:52 am to confirm when I can pick up. The lady on the phone said my order was in fact ready for today but because of very bizarre business hours (7-2) I asked if I can pick up on Wednesday morning instead. She said yes no problem. Today I get a phone call (1:20pm) and I called back a few minutes later (1:23pm) as I was in between patients. The lady on the phone, KAYLA, told me that my order was incomplete and had out of stock items. I whispered back, as I was in the clinic, saying I'm confused why my order was complete yesterday but not today. I followed up by saying as a customer it is concerning to me that it seems like my food is being given to other priority clients. KAYLA responded "I do not know" and I said well that's not reassuring to hear as a client. Typically, if a client is skeptical of this grave practice, they would be reassured that the ethics and values of this company does not practice this. However, it was not denied. KAYLA seemed frazzled and said I just got your paper and I said I can't be on the phone anymore please email me with update. I asked if I can still show up tomorrow for pickup and she said yes. I specifically said thank you and have a good day. Six minutes later I get a missed call with a disgustingly toned voicemail (attached below) saying "... let me just say this I do not appreciate you being rude or insulting Any one of my stuff that will not work with us...". I also receive an email regarding the out of stock items. I respond to the email as I was in clinic saying the situation and how I simply had a question and concern that my items were being given to other priority clients. I explained how I was not being rude or never ever insulted someone. I couldn't even raise my voice as I was whispering. I never even complained about the actual items being out of stock. I am appalled that I even received such voicemail. Then, instead of apologizing or offering any type of customer support, PETER was implying that he was able to hear my conversation. Which great!! Because I truly am confused since I was not rude nor insulting anyone. Additionally, how is peter able to hear my conversation if I was whispering? He also apologizes "if that is the case" that someone said my order was ready for pickup today. Why if that is the case? Why are you questioning the client??? Regardless, the concerning part is that he doesn't even apologize to me for leaving such email AND DOESNT EVEN DENY OR ADDRESS MY CONCERN OF THEM GIVING AWAY MY FOOD TO OTHER CLIENTS!! I am still waiting for an apology and for a clarification on this. But I guess no answer is an answers and confirmation that they do. I then respond to their email confirming the substitution and that I will be there tomorrow morning as planned and as per the confirmation via phone today. Then I get a response saying not to come pickup tomorrow until confirmed??? They're truly a mess and don't know what they're saying on the phone and what they're emailing either. Side note, their website advertises that they deliver to my zip code. When asked over the phone and in person, they say no?? They have disgusting customer service and to be honest it's sooooo sketchy and weird place. It's a warehouse you have to go pick up at in the middle of no where. No thank you!! Taking my business elsewhere!! Peter- per your email, if you really appreciated my business is this how you respond or treat a customer? Especially a new one?? Attached below are the proof of the emails and voicemails. Shame that a Jewish facility practices this way.
