Extremely pricy, good collection though. About 75% of the items could be found at TESO and home goods for a competitive price. It has a huge collection so I would suggest it for someone who is looking for something specific. Good oral care items, and cosmetics. This store is so cool, they are another Japanese lifestyle market but I love that they have an amazing selection of not only models/figures. But they also have some amazing DBZ and Slamdunk statues in the store. The service is very good and the store is so well maintained. The ambiance is warm and you can just take your time at ease while you shop. My wife and I ended up spending about an hour in the store taking our time and they had so much unique items I haven't been able to find (ramen flavors, face masks, pantry items) in other like stores. I'm for sure going to come back here again and restock on items as we need. Coming here, you will for sure not leave disappointed. A cute Japanese store that offers skin care, stationary, food and even Labubus! Some of the items are not cheap, but I grabbed some household items. The staff is constantly walking around since unfortunately, people have been stealing things from the store. The staff at the register was super nice though. Went here because I heard it's similar to another store not too far called Tesso life but this store is smaller and they cost more. I have been to Japan and a lot of the stuff they are selling is overpriced. I guess it works if you want to be immersed in the culture but they need to come down on the prices of certain items. read more

This is a pretty big Japanese goods store. It's located in a small strip mall so there is some parking out front. They had a lot of random stuff here and it's fun to browse here. I liked their fun selection of anime merchandise. They had a lot of blind boxes and keychains. There was also a nice wall of gatcha machines up front although I didn't see anything I was dying to get at the time. They have a lot of other things like household goods. I liked looking at their collection of plates, mugs, utensils, etc. They had a lot of Sanrio branded items. There was also a collection of huge anime statues at the front that you can admire (like Miss Boa Hancock from One Piece). I don't think they were for purchase but they were really fun to look at and pose with! I bought some Biore UV face sunscreen. It was about the same price or a little cheaper than what I could get on Amazon. It was locked though so I had to flag someone to go buy it which was interesting. read more

You can buy snack, drinks, gatcha balls, and a ton of japanese stuff. And they have a ton of anime figurines on display. I don;t think you can buy those, but, its on display. For me, this is a treasure trove for the snacks and drinks. The ex-girlfriend is ogling at all the high end cosmetics and beauty maho serums. Just wooooow. Came in this area (Duluth) a week prior to check out the STEAMI's LOBSTER restaurant (straight up delicious ) and saw the Japanese Life Store. My kids are huge Manga fans and love Asian culture so I decided to bring them on a random Wednesday. It's an 1hr drive from my place so we made a day of it. When we arrived my son (24) and daughter (12) were both at a lost for words. They wanted to buy everything and didn't know what to buy all at the same time. This place has everything: cosmetics, personal care, cleaning supplies, toys, kids products, hygiene products, food, snacks and gasha machines. People were coming in-n-out so it appears clientele is regular. The staff were friendly when you approached them, but I mainly saw them on their phones. I was amazed at all the products they offered. We purchased a bunch of snacks, drinks, teas and got something lucky from the gasha machine (kinda expensive). Overall, if I'm in the area I'll definitely be back. read more

There're many parking in the plaza. It's a nice clean store. The staffs are friendly. The aisle is kind of narrow so it will be a bit difficult to move around if the store is crowded. I went in on a Saturday night and it's not crowded at all so I was easily move around the store. Their attraction is the life-size figures and the gachapon machines in front, which cost from 6-8 token ( $1=1 token). They have a kiosk so you can get token but it's cash only. If you want to get token with card, you do that at cashier. I like the gachapon game but it's kind of expensive for how small it is. Still, it will be a fun experience. They have some aisle of Japanese drinks, snacks, anime and characters merchandise, beauty product and home products. There're many cute products but it would be nice if they had more product on snacks sections. They have lots of merchandise but it's limited in certain characters and anime. Therefore if you don't know about those specifically, you won't be interested in the merchandise as much. Overall, it's a nice store to visits when you're in Duluth. read more

There are so many Japanese goods here: from snacks, to toys, to cosmetics, figurines, household items, stationery, etc. The store is brightly lit and very clean. I have been hoping for a Daiso in Atlanta. This store is comparable to Daiso, although Daiso is cheaper since it's the Japanese dollar store. The prices at Ebisu are more marked up and a good bit pricier. I still think the prices for some items are very fair though, like the snacks. Cosmetics and some household goods have a higher mark up. Probably my only complaint would be that the aisles are very, very narrow. It's so hard to navigate when there's several people there. This store is super fun though and I'd definitely return. I stocked up on candies and stationery. The stationery/school supplies selection isn't big, but I was just happy to see one. Definitely check out this new gem if you are into Japanese culture or goods, or just Asian goods in general. read more

New Japanese store out in Duluth They have so much cool stuff and it was so crowded inside! They were sold out of a ton of things I wanted so hopefully we can come back later when they restock They have some toys up front that you put coins in and rotate a knob to retrieve $5-6/each They have a lot of large figurines on display and I don't actually know if they're for sale but they were cool They have a huge section of dishware which was all so beautifully made. We got a Pikachu mug today.. sold out of most mug styles but they had lots of plates I really wanted a soap dispenser that dispenses foamy flowers but they were also sold out of that. Super hard to get around the store because the aisles barely fit 2 people crossing. We got a few unique snacks like Doritos flavored like tacos and cantaloupe caramels. OTP Atlanta is so lucky to have this wonderful store, packed full of Japanese imports that you cannot find anywhere else. The staff is so nice, and the atmosphere is fine. Great for kids and families. There are also some amazing businesses nearby, so it's worth the drive. I visit for their beauty products, food, and housewares. My favorite lip gloss that I used to have to go to Japan to find, because they didn't even have it in Taiwan. But, I can find it here in Atlanta! read more

Do you ever watch Japanese Youtube videos and you always think to yourself: "How do I get that?" Probably not all the time, but for the 1% time that you do, Ebisu is here in Atlanta for all your Japanese store needs. Ebisu is basically a Japanese convenient store with literally all of their items imported. Looking for snacks? Check. Looking for bathroom supplies? Check. How about some toys? You got it. I think this place is great to just go in just to browse to see if anything sparks your interest. The store itself is very small and thin aisles, which I think was kind of meh. With a stroller or cart, it's going to be a bit rough to navigate through the aisles. That being said, it seems like most of the shoppers here were perusing and also just bought one or two items. It wasn't really price friendly as it was all import and not really a "go and shop for all of your items" type of shop. If you're into all things Japan, and if you go to all the other Asian grocery stores around the area and can't find this one specific laundry detergent from Japan... this is a store that you should check out because they might have it. I wouldn't even doubt if you were looking for something specific that the store employees could help you out or even put it on order. I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't be surprised. read more

This place is cool but wasn't as interesting as I thought it'd be. I legit had thought this would have anime type stuff and collectors items. Maybe some Sailor moon, inuyasha, or hello kitty type stuff but no. The items are mostly beauty cosmetics, skin care, kitchen utensils, drinks, packaged foods, snacks, and similar. I found this store as I searched for Bday gifts for my DIL. She loves Gudatama and this was the only one that had a variety of things related to it. The parking was a little tricky but if you arrive at a good time of the day it should be simple enough. We were not greeted as we entered but the store was clean, quiet and easy to navigate. It has a Burkett of beauty products and snack. It kinda reminds me of the pharmacies they have overseas. There is a refrigerated section with can and bottled drinks, candy and the sorts. Walking in you will be greeted by these life size anime action figures. The store offers a lot of imported snacks, toys, beauty products and household goods. Everything are well labeled and organized. The prices are reasonable for imported goods. It's definitely a place for anime fanatics as well as those who like international snacks and beauty fix. Duluth is literally Georgia's Asian community enclave and it seems that while Koreans have the majority, you can't really discount the presence of both Chinese and Vietnamese influences in this area! I'm not mad about the plethora of food choices these nationalities bring to Duluth as the miasma of available food choices increases in the most delightful of fashions. BUT!!! There is a serious lacking in Japanese fare from udon/soba, high end sushi (non-hibachi style joints) like we're talking the 10 seater "I Dream of Jiro" style sushi places, wagyu steakhouses, and even Japanese beer gardens. I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that there should be more and a great place to begin that step towards more Japanese influences (no weebs please!) is this place, Japanese Life Market, or Ebisu Life Market! This is literally a Japanese convenience store on steroids! Anything and everything Japanese is here. It's literally a Japanese style Walgreens without the prescription drugs counter! They have everything you need from snacks and drinks, to yakisoba, to dishware, detergent, in home air fresheners, car air fresheners, Japanese make up products, facial/skin care, baby food, yes they even have anime collectibles as well but they are more focused on providing home goods. It's literally Japanese style Walgreens but better because the items are Japanese. They have all the name brands from KCC, Suntory, and Tiger just to name a few. I highly recommend this place! It's well lit, they have a plethora of items, the aisles can be cramped being there during busy times might prove to be a bit of an inconvenience, but it's just fun to peruse. The prices of the items might seem pricey like a 12 oz can of coffee is $2.50 or that just one small dishware can be close to $7.00. Overall though it is an experience itself and one worth coming to! You really can't miss it as it's literally next door to the Thai Thanh Yen tea shop! read more

This is like a Japanese convenience store and because my kids love anime they were super excited upon entering. Check out my vid do you see these life size characters!! In this store you can get everything you need! I went down each isle... I grab some ramen noodles, some kinda Japanese drink that kinda taste like a smoothie. They had things for your kitchen and bathroom! Toiletries and makeup! They even had the vending machine that I have only seen on tours of Japan. Noticed this Japanese chain pop up in Duluth and attended their first day of opening. Located in that new plaza down the street from Costco, next to Steami's Lobster. Yes they have goods from home stuff, stationery, plushies, keychains, some hand bags, and a few makeup bags. As we know there is a surprise collectible machine.. I don't read Japanese so I didn't know what some of the products were without reading the shelf labels - hard to do when you wear bifocals. I suppose I could have used Google Translate to look through my phone's lens. The service was excellent. I bought a Japanese brand's conditioner that I don't think I could have bought elsewhere in Georgia. It's cheaper than Amazon. The sales girl recommended a different brand but I unfortunately didn't take her advice. I returned within 7 days and exchanged it unopened for the Shiseido Ma Chérie. My girlfriend and I visited the store because of all the cute things. Unfortunately, we were followed by a male and female associate who repeatedly walked past aisles to check on us. We were holding a shopping basket and everything. At one point, we were looking at an item trying to figure out what it was, and the woman magically appeared to answer our question and check the previous things we touched. The woman was also rude to my partner when checking out. When we left, we saw another unfortunate couple being followed from the parking. Would never ever recommend this place. They have so many items: makeup/beauty products, skincare, hair care/color, soap, cute hair accessories, kitchen cleaning supplies, kitchenware for both adults and children, cute desk accessories and mini shelves/baskets, fragrance products including those for cars, plates and cups, baby food and items, stationary, couple of anime-related goods, etc. I can't forget the large selection of drinks, teas, coffees, chips, ramen, gummies, candies, chocolate, and fruit jelly all from Japan.
