This place is huge and the prices are very low. The shelves are stocked with volume and variety. The aisles are wide, there are multiple cashiers, the store is more modern than any American stores. And don't miss the Bakery/Deli in the back corner. Easy access, with plenty of free parking. Here is a ready made chapati shop which is great addition. Loved the veggie puffs and other items like samosas, khandavi, dabeli buns etc. Fruits and Vegetables, including Green Leafy veggies are fresh and clean and we get almost all Indian items here. Billing can be quick, but I that should be fine. Was surprised to see good and clean restrooms too. Overall a good shop and nice experience. This grocery chain sells Indian foods, plus beauty products, spiritual items and many more. At Patel Brothers, they bring the best ingredients from around the world, right to your doorstep. I have been meaning to go here for a long time. I figured a Monday evening would be a great time to go. When you walk in a waft of spices hits you. I love Indian food and love spice. Made me hungry. I bought 4 samosas from their hot food area. They were tasty and spicy. They give you little packets of chutney sauce to eat with them. The samosas were 50 cents each. Pretty darn cheap. The samosas didn't taste freshly made though. My guess is they were made in the afternoon. Not a complaint. More an observation. I polished off 2 driving home so obviously, they weren't bad. The store itself is clean and spacious. The vegetable/fruit section is pretty scant right now. Lots of empty spaces. The limes were 8 for a dollar. Cheap!! I bought some scallions, papadam, snacks, juice for 99 cents a bottle (expiring 3 days from now. My fault for not reading), basmati rice, mixed pickle, frozen potato paratha, frozen butter paneer and some frozen samosas. A lot of the frozen food is kind of expensive. I could go to Naan N Curry and pay the same price for a dish. I would say that for someone who likes to look around at everything, this place is sensory overload. So many different things to look at and try. Spices and snacks galore! Overall I would say it's a great place to go. Once at the very least, even just to look around. Patel Brother grocery store is awesome. I'm so glad they opened up on this part of time. The store is big, bright, and clean. I mean it looked near spotless when I came in. They have a large variety of ingredients from fresh to try. The store is well organized too. I always feel I didn't spend enough time in this grocery store when I visit. I always want to spend a little more time to peruse through each aisle. There's an area in the back during my first two visits here shortly after they opened were a line was formed of people waiting to place their order and pick up their food items they sell behind the case. I didn't get to get a close look of the hot items and desserts they sell back there. I really wanted to try their samosas. I hope in the future they have hot food made daily that's available to buy the made food and take home. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a variety of ingredients that you would be able to find if you were in India. read more

Recently visited the Patel's in Alpharetta. It is pretty clean and has lot of varieties of food. The kitchen was empty being Sunday. But I heave heard good things about it. Hopefully next time I get some fresh food to eat there. read more

Coming from NJ , I thought Patels was good in NJ ... but this one was even bigger and huge , as compared to NJ Patels. There is a ready made chapati shop just like other locations .. loved the veggie puffs and other items like samosas, dabeli buns etc. vegetables are fresh .. and we get almost all Indian items here . This is the second Patel brothers grocery store in the Atlanta area. The 1st location in in Decatur on Church street. This new location has a modern feel and look of a traditional grocery store. Things are pretty easy to find and the store is very clean (even the bathrooms!) as of right now. It was so busy on our first visit during grand opening week there was a line out the door waiting to get in. The associates are friendly and helpful. They also have a full bakery in the back left corner of the store serving fresh pastries and snacks that are cooked daily in the morning. It's a nice place to get vegetables at a great price even if you don't cook Indian food! read more

The store is big and spacious. They do refresh their bhindi etc regularly so you get really fresh veggies. I would give 5 stars to the shop. However, the deli selling kathi rolls/ samosas is a disaster. The kathi rolls will set your mouth on fire.. it feels like all the world's green chilies were in that roll. It's pointless to put that much spice, especially for what is meant to be eaten as a snack! We by mistake bought a few thinking they're good coz they're so popular.. and when we called the store to complain about the spice level, the extremely rude lady said it's supposed to be like that and wouldn't offer a refund! My favorite Indian store around. I come here whenever I miss my parents. They have a wide variety or product and it's all so fresh. The prices are comparable to American stores with the produce. The roti in the back is ok...I miss my mommy's Roti. I'm glad they do a 4 pack and 25 pack. They also have a different curries too and snacks too. They did a great job handling the safety of customers and employees during the pandemic. However, they are struggling to keep up with demand or keep items in stock. The last few times I've gone a lot of shelves have been empty or they're out of things I want. I'm sure it's because of the pandemic. read more

THERE'S A NEW KID IN TOWN! There is now a third market Indian Market on 141/Peachtree Parkway. The Patel brothers have opened an Indian grocer a few blocks north of Suvidha's on the left. It anchors a strip mall that includes an Indian restaurant, kosher meat shop and other businesses. It was a newly open store when we visited a few weeks ago. This is definitely a grocery store so you will not get that authentic, bumper to bumper market experience which I have come to enjoy. It's going to feel like a typical American grocery store. So, if that is what you prefer, you will feel right at home. There wasn't a great deal of fresh looking produce available and what we did see was definitely more expensive than it was at the local "markets". The advantage will be their extensive selection of shelf items such as beans, nuts, oils, canned products, and more. They also have a large selection of frozen foods and personal care items. Most importantly, there are plenty of cashiers should they get very busy. Patel Brothers grocery is a new option for this area and for those who enjoy trying something different. It's been a few weeks since my visit, so they are probably better stocked and have found their rhythm. Judging from how crowded the other markets are, this store will be a needed addition to help minimize the crowding and offer another alternative to great Indian foods and products. Beautiful Insian grocery store. I have been shopping at Cherians and Suvhida to date in this area. It is brand new, so everything looks fresh and super clean. In a way, I'm more excited about all the businesses that might open in the same complex. A major bummer was that they did not utilize space for prepared foods or a food court. They certainly had enough space. I still go to Suvidha for already cooked and fresh biryani, mutton, and chicken curry at great prices, since Patel doesn't offer these things. I visited the store on Saturday and purchased their pastries and ended up with food poisoning.

I went today for fresh vegetables at this new grocery store. It was gross. The produce was on the floor. There was a terrible odor in the store. I got 50 feet in the store and left. Awful. They will be getting a visit from the health inspectors. read more
