I've only been here a handful of times, but each time resulted in plenty of snacks and groceries. There were plenty of sale items to peruse. These are along the front, right side of the store if you're entering from the main entrance. And there was a good variety of choices if you're looking for something specific. There was an expansive tea selection (bag and loose), pickled vegetable packets (which go great on rice), and a very, very large dim sum area. And of course there's also a good number of snacks to choose from. This market is fun because on the other side of the Jusgo there's the food court, Japanese store, and claw machines. I used to come here quite often until I bought several items from their refrigerated section that was moldy. They also have a tendency to leave their fresh fruits and veggies in the freezer until it gets freezer burn or turns bad very quickly after you bring it home. Jusgo Supermarket is part of a chain of Asian American supermarkets that are owned and operated by Hong Kong-based PARKnSHOP. Jusgo sells a lot of East Asian products from China, Korea and Japan, among others. I took a quick shopping walk through Jusgo Supermarket while R waited in the food court for our food that we ordered at one of the food court stalls. The food court is directly connected to the supermarket by 2 separate sets of steps and a potentially slippery ramp (there is even a warning sign pointing out that the ramp may be slippery). Jusgo shares a very big and free parking lot with nearby businesses, and there were a whole lot of parking spaces that were not being used when we arrived at about 7 pm on a Monday evening. The supermarket was very clean. The store is big and looks like it keeps its shelves fully stocked with inventory. I saw a lot of fruits and vegetables that I didn't recognize, and I've been to many Asian markets. Just about all of the produce I saw were very fresh. I saw some seafood on ice, but not that many varieties - fish, shrimp and crab. I'm not sure if they just didn't have that much inventory to begin with, or if they were sold out of many types of seafood, or possibly put seafood out of sight into refrigerators for the night. I saw a lot of meats, some of it, like short ribs, on sale, but I thought that the prices for meats, even the ones on sale, were generally higher those at other Asian market competitors. For instance, I was considering of buying fresh headless shrimp at Jusgo, but I saw that the price was about $2/lb more here, so that was a no go for me. Lots of produce and pantry items to look through along with a cafeteria directly connected! Probably best to eat before shopping so there is less to lug around after and you're tempted to buy less when shopping. Staff were friendly and I loved the incorporation of American and Asian products available. Prices were pretty fair and a good amount of registers to check out at. I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago after ordering food from their food court. Jusgo Supermarket is an outstanding Chinese grocery store and carries such a large variety of fresh produce, noodles, teas, sauces, and cook wear as well. When I lived in Shanghai there were certain drinks that I became accustomed to drinking and been having a hard time finding them and surprised. They carry them here at Jusgo Supermarket. Overall the store is very well organized, has an incredible food court that I would highly recommend people visit for authentic Guangdong/Cantonese Cuisine and other regions as well. This is Taiwanese supermarket. Any grocery item for Taiwan cuisine can be found here. It mostly gear to Taiwan people. The supermarket has food court with multi restaurant. We got many items from this store. Including the pineapple cake that make in boba flavor. It was very interesting. They also sell the brown sugar boba ice cream. Something that I not normally see. The also has hot pot section with different hot pot fish cake, flavor powder. I I've seafood also very interesting. Including live sea snail, giant clam, bamboo clam (razor live clam) and more. There are some item I see them at Southeast Asia but they carry them. Veggies section also big. Good selection of veggies and fruits. This is one of my favorite Asian market. I love to purchase the Thai Okra that I cant seem to find in other suoer markets. I dont know how Jusgo finds big ones, because normally they are laveled under water squash or other names. My paternal grandma used to grow these when I was little amd I grew very fond of eating this vegetable. Its my comfort food. I normally chop this up and mix it with ginger, ground turkey, and an egg. This is a true Asian Supermarket. Don't expect a nice, squeaky clean Hmart. You'll see live animals and exotic cuts of meat here. If you're looking to make turtle soup, you can get live soft-shell turtles here. They do have other live animals. My wife didn't like staring at live animals, so I didn't have the time to peruse the live animals. If you want a specific cut of meat, it's better to ask the butcher. You can see the fresh meat behind glass cases. They do have pre-packaged stuff, but it's limited compared to the ones behind the case. Even though I describe it as "Asian" I would say it's more Chinese and Vietnamese focused. You can find Japanese and Korean stuff here too, but if you're looking for a specific Chinese ingredient, you'll probably have better luck here than the more Korean ones. If you're looking for a specific Korean item, you might have better luck at the many Korean supermarkets in the area. How is the price? Like any Asian store, it depends on a lot of factors. Some things are cheaper, some are not. I don't think it's the Cheapest in town, but it's one of the cleaner ones. On the side of the super-market, you have a ramp going up to the food court and other stores. The food court is pretty extensive filled with great Chinese food. You can get anything from Ramen, Chinese BBQ, dumplings, Bubble Tea, etc. My favorite is Yes Formosa. But I haven't tried the others. read more

Simply put, this is one of the most AMAZING grocery store I've ever had the pleasure of shopping! The selection of produce, meats, seafoods and dry goods under one roof is ginormous! Other than a farmers market, I don't recall ever being so impressed. I saw live fish, turtles and other sea critters in tanks, and fruits & vegetables I'd never heard of in my life! My wife and I have vowed to return monthly to explore and take home at least a few new item to try each visit. This visit we purchased five items: 1) Frozen lobster balls, 2) spicy peanuts, 3) Hello Panda strawberry-filled cookies, 4) Chive-filled Wheat Pie and 5) Taro-filled pancakes. The Wheat Pies were by far my favorite item, but the spicy peanuts are an acquired taste that I don't think I will ever acquire. I was also not a fan of the lobster balls, which was surprising because I had high hopes they would be amazing! Still, it was fun to try new things! Looking forward to our next visit. My bonus children came for the summer and we found out that they like kim-bop. We were out having an adventure, but sadly did not find Kim bop at this grocery store although they had a food court.... Still didn't see any lol. I told the girls grab something to try. We ended up with dumplings and a noodle dish. Everything was good (to me). Lol. Their taste buds did not agree. This is the typical asian market. I thought they were more Korean based but I think it might be owned by Chinese owners. Either way they have a large assortment of East Asian products and food. The one thing I want to add about Jusgo - beyond their crazy-good deals in produce from time to time - is their seafood department. No it's not the most fragrant area in this or any other stores, but they have a great fresh seafood selection, some of which are at very reasonable prices: shrimps, for instance, with head on, good size, can almost always be found at $4 or $5 a pound. I especially want to highlight the one fish I've found almost nowhere else: turbot. Now to give you an idea (those who are not familiar), turbot is a healthy, prized eat, with a delicate flavor. How delicate, you ask? We're about to go on one of these ultra-luxury cruises; in anticipation, I've been looking at their menus in the different dining rooms - and in this ship's famed seafood dining room, among the halibut, Chilean seabass, and lobster tails, we find ... turbot! Here's the kicker: Lord knows how much your local fish seller would charge YOU if they even have this fish, but at Jusgo, I've never paid anything more (or less) than $5.99 a pound for huge chunky steaks. This is why, almost every visit to Atlanta, we go to Jusgo, more than once, and we always get some turbot, at least once. read more

Jusgo Supermarket is a Chinese supermarket that opened in Duluth, just off of Steve Reynolds Blvd near I-85, in July 2017. This used to be YongHui Supermarket and it visibly began transitioning to Jusgo in the spring of 2017. There are other Jusgo locations in Houston and Plano, Texas. Jusgo is big, spacious, bright, and clean. In my experience, this supermarket has been the least busy of the popular Asian supermarkets in metro Atlanta (e.g. Super H Mart, Assi, Great Wall, Hong Kong/City Farmers Market, Nam Dae Mun, etc.). I'd say the low crowd density is comparable to Mega Mart. If you don't want to deal with crowds while shopping for your Asian groceries, considering coming here. I do think this market is smaller and thus, carries less stuff than the other places, but it still packs quite a respectable punch. One of my favorite places to check out at Asian supermarkets is the meat and seafood sections. Jusgo's meat and seafood departments are impressive. The display counters, aquariums, refrigerated shelves, and freezer bins are chock-full of all sorts of animals and animal parts (beef, pork, chicken, and duck, mainly) and many different kinds of fish and seafood, some of which you can't find anywhere else in metro Atlanta. The meat shelves are packed with just about every cut of beef or pork that you can imagine. You can purchase whole black (silkie) chickens for $9.99 each. Frozen whole ducks, complete with heads and feet intact, are sold at $2.69/lb (about $16 for a whole duck). You can even purchase frozen whole small pigs, already bagged and sealed, for $3.99/lb (about $108 for a whole 27-pound pig). Whole pork hearts are $2.99/lb. Like some other Asian supermarkets, Jusgo's seafood department is like a miniature aquarium or zoo. They have live frogs, turtles, eels, clams, conchs, crabs, lobsters, fishes, and more. The frogs I saw ("edible field frogs," $5.99/lb) were among the biggest, fattest, and plumpest frogs I've seen at an Asian supermarket in the States. The turtles were a good size as well, each about the size of a football, for $15.88 each. There were multiple types of live crabs such as the standard blue crabs as well as smaller green crabs ($2.49/lb). Clams include geoduck and razor. There was a diverse array of fish, both whole fish and fish fillets of various species, laid out on ice plus a great mix of live fish and other seafood in the tanks below. It was a nice spread. In general, the meat and seafood appear to be of fresh and good quality. As this is a Chinese supermarket, you can find a wide variety of cooked, salted, and preserved duck eggs. There are barrels of items like soy beans, mung beans (both peeled and unpeeled), and millet available for scooping by the pound ($0.69/lb for soy beans, $1.69/lb for the others). In the produce section, like Great Wall and Asian Supermarket (on Buford Highway), many of the Chinese leafy green vegetables are pre-bagged. There are many to choose from. Examples include "Shanghai Bok Choy Jr." for $1.29/lb and Chinese broccoli for $1.29/lb. Of course, you can find all of your standard packaged items like sauces, condiments, instant noodles, and tea here too. Towards the front of the supermarket is a cosmetics shop (Aritaum). There's an appliance, cookware, and houseware section, but it's not as big as comparable sections at competing markets like H Mart. The food court, which is a big draw of this place, is also impressive. The food court used to be part of a separate building space next door and it didn't exist when this market was known as YongHui. When Jusgo took over, they claimed the space next door, tore down the wall inside, and connected the two spaces. The food court is actually more than just a food court. It's a Chinese mini-mall with businesses like a travel agency (Ruyi Holiday), a watch store (ATI Watches), a massage chair shop, and more. Like the supermarket, the food court is big and spacious with many stalls and plenty of seating. The stalls wrap around in rectangular fashion. At the time of writing this review, the stalls include: * Uncle Zhu - hot pot, Sichuan * Caraway Cafe - jianbing (Chinese crepes), buns, dumplings * Kumai Ramen * Eyescream - Thai rolled ice cream * BBQ Corner * Xi'an Gourmet House - Shaanxi cuisine * ViVi Bubble Tea * Taste of Tianjin - Northern Chinese cuisine * Ruyi Delish The above list isn't comprehensive, but it includes most of the stalls. There are more on the way. In general, the food is authentic, delicious, affordably priced, and served up quick. There are hits and misses on particular dishes at certain stalls, but if you stick with each stall's specialties, you should be fine. There are two sets of restrooms, one in the supermarket and one at the food court, both located in the back of the building. They're generally clean. The restrooms, along with the rest of the facility, have a modern and updated look. Overall, Jusgo is a fine addition to the metro Atlanta Asian supermarket scene. read more

Jusgo is a new international grocer located at the corner of Steve Reynolds and Venture Drive (shopping center where Hobby Lobby used to be). It's unique in that 1/2 of the building is a grocery store and the other 1/2 is a food court. Jusgo grocery side is about same size as a regular Publix/Kroger. It's Asian (towards Chinese /Taiwanese) and limited Hispanic grocer and offers a wide range of foods like BFM, H-Mart and Great Wall. But it's smaller, better organized and new/cleaner. Wide selection of quality fresh produce that is geared towards Asian cooking but NO organics. Freshest seafood department! Located next to Produce, they offer a variety of fish, shells (conch, oysters, geoducks), squids etc. in frozen, thawed and live. I saw more live swimmers including groupers, eels, crawling blue crabs and crawdads than anywhere else in town. Adjacent to seafood, their meat department has both frozen and fresh cuts. They have shaved cuts for Asian cooking and more lamb and pork than a typical grocer. However grade of meat is not specified (select?). Located in the back, Jusgo's dairy department is small mainly comprised of duck, quail and regular eggs and some milk. The dry foods are organized by culture in the middle of the store. Bigger Chinese section than others (Thai, Korean, Latin etc.). The usuals can be found here like black sesame beverages, noodles, dried/canned fish, seasonings, coconut milk, oils and vinegars. Unlike most international grocers, they do have a small section of bulk foods. Their domestics include kitchen utensils, dishes, small electrics, beauty & health and toys. I didn't see prepared foods/deli, bakery, cheese, wine/beer or European goods departments. Service was okay and still needs to be ironed out as this is still a relatively a new store. Staff hardly spoke any English, not any different than other Int'l grocers, but they didn't know / show any willingness to help. Prices were competitive with other Int'l grocers. Parking was ample and free. Past cashiers and customer service, there's a ramp that connects to a large food court. About 6 Chinese and Taiwanese restos were open and some were still vacant store fronts. Bottomline, Jusgo is a good option for Asian grocery and awesome for fresh seafood! However, if you want culture specific food beyond Chinese, then go to others (H-Mart for Korean, Patel Bro for Indian...). PSA - it's very cold inside so take a sweater or burn some calories! read more

Somebody stole my orange jus. Where'd my Jusgo? If you are debating whether or not to go to this supermarket in Atlanta then my, advice is to just go. Because it's got a little bit of everything. It's a true International Grocery Store and absolutely fantastic to visit. You can find groceries from all over the world that you wouldn't find anywhere else. It's like all of Buford Hwy in one awesome store. One of the best grocery stores in the Greater Atlanta region because it has all kinds of international groceries but also has a massive and expensive International Food Court with all kinds of exotic delights for you to try. Can't believe I'm leaving a review during...first weekend of social distancing. Living in Midtown, I decided to try out grocery delivery from Jusgo via Chowbus (a Chinese food delivery App). I have to say I'm super impressed! I got all this grocery for $110, plus sales tax and tips ($3.99 delivery fee waived this time). The 100-pack instant coffee was only $10.79 and they have卫龙大面筋 (gluten sticks) which is one of my favorite snacks and is definitely considered as commodity amongst the Chinese community so I stocked up. I used to visit to Jusgo maybe once every other month to do my Chinese grocery. They have really good selection of produce, frozen items, snacks, non-perishables. I have not bought meat or seafood here but they do have good selection and items like live eel and bullfrogs I have no idea how to cook those... Well...I love shopping here in person, but now delivery during COVID-19 is even better. Not to mention this saves me at least an hour going all the way to Duluth and back. read more

I don't live near a big metropolis like Atlanta and was impressed by the size and variety of Asian food sold here. At home, we shop at a big H-Mart but this place felt so much bigger. Since we just ate a rich lunch, I decided to check out their fresh fish. Lots of fresh fish. Noticed aquatic tanks for live fish but nothing caught my eye there. Unusual offerings: a big tray of live palm-size frogs packed shoulder-to-shoulder with eyes staring at me. Skipped that and bought a fresh bass for a light and healthy dinner. Bought 2-3 shopping bags of canned and pickled condiments, bottles of sauces and snacks to take home. Sure wish we have something like this back home. We noticed 6-8 food concessions in their food-court right inside the store entrance. Didn't check them out since we just ate, but next time we visit Atlanta area, we'd definitely try the food there. read more

We visited for the first time on a Friday night tonight around closing time and the place was nearly empty. Based on our walk-through, they have an extensive offering of ingredients for Chinese cuisine as well as candy but the variety is not as large for Korean cuisine ingredients. Honestly, amazed. If you're from China, have been to China, or just looking for some common drinks/food/snacks from there, this is the place to go! I found Wan Nian Qing biscuits that I've only been able to get when I'm in China, and other snacks I haven't found replicated in any other store. Granted, however, I am from Maryland, so perhaps this is the norm in this area/Georgia? In any case, the prices were very reasonable, and I found my favorite Ito-en tea (from Japan) for just under $5 for a liter, along with other snacks I picked up that I haven't tried before. This is an Asian grocery store that has an amazing food court next to it. There are so many choices, including dry pot, home style Chinese cooking, Korean, dumplings, Chinese crepe, and desserts. Everything is very well priced and quality if pretty good. We ordered a 肉夹馍 beef pancake from one stall, a 煎饼果子 crepe from another stall, and a matcha shaved ice for dessert. We loved everything - they all tasted super authentic. We really enjoyed shaved ice in particular. It is probably one of the best and only places around Atl that serves chinese shaved ice. The portion was huge and it was filled to the brim with icecream, cereal, fruits, red bean, and mochi. I wouldnt recommend this place for a romantic date night though. It is a very casual self serve place. But I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a variety of authentic and inexpensive chinese food! read more

What a great find! We were in the neighborhood and looking to get some bubble tea. We were searching for the bubble tea shop and driving around for a while looking for it until we gave up and decided to call them to find out their exact location. We were told that they were located inside the Jusgo Supermarket. So we ventured in and were surprised at what we found. The bubble tea shop was located in the middle of a food court that had lots of yummy looking Asian food. It was in the middle of the afternoon and we were not hungry enough to try the food. But I would be very interested in returning to try it out. Connected to the food court is a very large, very clean, and well-lit Asian supermarket. We decided to get one snack each while we were there, which ended up becoming a full on grocery store run. They have just about everything you want and things you didn't know you needed. We were like little kids in a candy store all over again. From Chinese breakfast foods you would find in Asia, to red bean popsicles, and everything in between, we were more than pleased with what they had in stock. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have enough space in the fridge to buy all the things we wanted. But we will surely be returning to this market again soon. read more

Ever since I heard of the demise of Great Wall (I love shopping in a petting zoo of rats and raccoons!) I started getting my Asian groceries at Jusgo. As it is one of the newest supermarkets in Duluth, it's also the cleanest I've seen, aside from H Mart. Like H Mart, they have a membership program that you sign up for at the Information desk. The application form is very... homemade. But be sure to take advantage because this program gives you "cash back" on every purchase that you can bring back within a month before the voucher expires. After my first purchase, I got $2 cash back, but I didn't come back in time to redeem it. Prices overall are mostly lower than other Asian grocery stores I've seen, but there are still the select items that are randomly more expensive. As others have mentioned, there is a section in the back which is strictly meat and seafood. And oh my freaking god. You can see the typical live crab/lobster... but the live frogs and eels made me feel some sort of way, and I don't think I can order that Unagi Roll the same way. I had a little trouble understanding the organization of the groceries (aside from produce) but I'm sure the more I shop here, the more intuitive it will feel. The produce is laid out in the open so it is easy to see across the market. The food court is pretty expansive, although most of the stalls appear to offer similar options - noodles. Every stall has noodles. But I guess they are all Asian. I don't like Vivi Bubble Tea at all, so I do hope they open another drink stall option soon. I like Uncle Zhu's Beef Noodle Soup the best so far. Overall, Jusgo is a pretty good alternative to Great Wall down the street. This is a relative new Asian market in Duluth area. To be more accurate, probably shall call it Chinese market. It has a big variety of fresh produce and sea food! I think the seafood market inside is their key feature. The live fish section is like a aquarium! A lot of fish I never saw before. Been there twice so far and it seems every week they have different sea food week special at very reasonable price. I was also amazed by their frozen sea food section. I was educated with all kinds of interesting fish and fish names. Lol. Unfortunately I am not a big cook. Wish some day I could try at least half of the fish there. There are some bulk pack grains there too. The bulk millet (小米）is relatively fresh and new comparing with all other millet I found in the area. We normally make millet porridge in China, which is not only tasty but also healthy. Most of millet here were harvested probably a few years ago so it is very flavorless. I tried their bulk millet, though still not as good as what we have in China it is much more tasteful than all others I tried here. Overall the price here is reasonable. My first time here ... I loved it! They've got a ton of stuff and the staff is actually super friendly. You'll get just about all the same produce you can get from your standard international market. Prices are really good and they have a lot of sales. I loved the staff! I was staring at dumplings all someone came over and told me which she likes and what ones were on sale. The cashier was awesome too! They reminded me to enter the raffle because I spent enough. Ramune is cheap here, $1.19-1.49 each. They don't have raw duck eggs,though, just cooked salted. They also don't have large packs of rice crackers with anchovies included, unfortunately - the only two specific things i was looking for. Glad to see a modern Chinese supermarket pop up in the area. JUSGO is a fairly new supermarket that opened up between Steve Reynolds and Venture Drive, the same road that Kohls, Costco, and Target sit on. There was a bit of confusion on what would open up in this vacant lot, and I'm glad they settled on Jusgo. Jusgo is a little smaller than H mart and Great Wall, but still pretty large with a wide selection of Chinese and Asian foods and items. There is a sizeable selection of fresh produce, but no organic or many heirloom/pesticide free varieties. A nice assortment of fresh seafood and meats, prices fairly competitive with other supermarkets in the area. Their next-door food court definitely separates themselves from the competition. Currently a bunch of modern chinese restaurants, cafes, and boutique stores have opened up there, and still more to come. I'm excited with this new concept of Chinese supermarkets here, and will likely visit for the food court again. read more

I'm so glad Jusgo finally opened and I got a chance to finally checked it out. When it was Yonghui, I visited it quite a few times. You just don't understand the differences between Chinese and Korean grocery stores! Seriously. I'm not a fan of Great Wall. Besides the food court, what I like about Jusgo is the tea section! From the variety of tea bags to loose tea leaves to individual tea cups with the drainer, I'm in love! I don't do coffee but I sure love me some tea. Plain tea. I drink it plain and straight up like that. The setup is pretty much the same as Yonghui the last time I remembered. Walking in, you hit the produce. Unlike a lot of grocery stores, you see the cashier area right away. Not here. It's facing the food court. Now, the food court is almost full too. I mainly came to check out the tea section but I will come back again and explore like I did when it was Yonghui. Coming back for you! 201/2017 read more
