Really great selection of produce and other food products. Price is great on sale items. Wish they had more Asian products made elsewhere and not from China. Store is clean. Service is fine.

This store is full of surprises. I went to get the ice cream shape like a mango. They were sold out for 5 months. Soon as it was on TikTok it was gone. Anyway I find a lot of other goodies. The service is self service. The ambiance is mind your business and finding what you need. The ice cream that I get has gone up but that ok. It's worth it.

Jusgo Supermarket is part of a chain of Asian American supermarkets that are owned and operated by Hong Kong-based PARKnSHOP. Jusgo sells a lot of East Asian products from China, Korea and Japan, among others. I took a quick shopping walk through Jusgo Supermarket while R waited in the food court for our food that we ordered at one of the food court stalls. The food court is directly connected to the supermarket by 2 separate sets of steps and a potentially slippery ramp (there is even a warning sign pointing out that the ramp may be slippery). Jusgo shares a very big and free parking lot with nearby businesses, and there were a whole lot of parking spaces that were not being used when we arrived at about 7 pm on a Monday evening. The supermarket was very clean. The store is big and looks like it keeps its shelves fully stocked with inventory. I saw a lot of fruits and vegetables that I didn't recognize, and I've been to many Asian markets. Just about all of the produce I saw were very fresh. I saw some seafood on ice, but not that many varieties - fish, shrimp and crab. I'm not sure if they just didn't have that much inventory to begin with, or if they were sold out of many types of seafood, or possibly put seafood out of sight into refrigerators for the night. I saw a lot of meats, some of it, like short ribs, on sale, but I thought that the prices for meats, even the ones on sale, were generally higher those at other Asian market competitors. For instance, I was considering of buying fresh headless shrimp at Jusgo, but I saw that the price was about $2/lb more here, so that was a no go for me. I had to leave the market and walk up a set of steps to the food court where my food was being served.

    They sell Wong Lo Kat!!!!

I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago after ordering food from their food court. Jusgo Supermarket is an outstanding Chinese grocery store and carries such a large variety of fresh produce, noodles, teas, sauces, and cook wear as well. When I lived in Shanghai there were certain drinks that I became accustomed to drinking and been having a hard time finding them and surprised. They carry them here at Jusgo Supermarket. Overall the store is very well organized, has an incredible food court that I would highly recommend people visit for authentic Guangdong/Cantonese Cuisine and other regions as well. Overall, very impressive and had plenty of room to park too. [Review #645]  (1st Review of 2022)

    Grocery store

Co-worker told me to check this place out. Large selection of food and very clean and bright. One thing I noticed is that it does NOT smell like a typical Asian market. Prices are very comparable with other Asian grocery stores. Asked cashier how long the store has been opened and I was given silence and cold shoulder. What is it with Asian markets where cashiers always looked like they are pissed off and NEVER smile and won't carry on a conversations.

This is Taiwanese supermarket. Any grocery item for Taiwan cuisine can be found here. It mostly gear to Taiwan people. The supermarket has food court with multi restaurant. We got many items from this store. Including the pineapple cake that make in boba flavor. It was very interesting. They also sell the brown sugar boba ice cream. Something that I not normally see. The also has hot pot section with different hot pot fish cake, flavor powder. I I've seafood also very interesting. Including live sea snail, giant clam, bamboo clam (razor live clam) and more. There are some item I see them at Southeast Asia but they carry them. Veggies section also big. Good selection of veggies and fruits. The check out counter has a lot line opened to speed up the check out.

This is one of my favorite Asian market. I love to purchase the Thai Okra that I cant seem to find in other suoer markets. I dont know how Jusgo finds big ones, because normally they are laveled under water squash or other names. My paternal grandma used to grow these when I was little amd I grew very fond of eating this vegetable. Its my comfort food. I normally chop this up and mix it with ginger, ground turkey, and an egg. I can consume this in two meals in one day! Give it a try! :) Also, dont forget to check out their food court as well! Love, love, trying different dishes.

Simply put, this is one of the most AMAZING grocery store I've ever had the pleasure of shopping! The selection of produce, meats, seafoods and dry goods under one roof is ginormous! Other than a farmers market, I don't recall ever being so impressed. I saw live fish, turtles and other sea critters in tanks, and fruits & vegetables I'd never heard of in my life! My wife and I have vowed to return monthly to explore and take home at least a few new item to try each visit. This visit we purchased five items: 1) Frozen lobster balls, 2) spicy peanuts, 3) Hello Panda strawberry-filled cookies, 4) Chive-filled Wheat Pie and 5) Taro-filled pancakes. The Wheat Pies were by far my favorite item, but the spicy peanuts are an acquired taste that I don't think I will ever acquire. I was also not a fan of the lobster balls, which was surprising because I had high hopes they would be amazing! Still, it was fun to try new things! Looking forward to our next visit. IF ANYONE READING THIS has a favorite food suggestion, please don't hesitate to share it! Even if you don't know me, I'd be happy and very grateful to know what food items you would recommend. 2021 / 4 short n' sweet series

My bonus children came for the summer and we found out that they like kim-bop. We were out having an adventure, but sadly did not find Kim bop at this grocery store although they had a food court.... Still didn't see any lol. I told the girls grab something to try. We ended up with dumplings and a noodle dish. Everything was good (to me). Lol. Their taste buds did not agree. This is the typical asian market. I thought they were more Korean based but I think it might be owned by Chinese owners. Either way they have a large assortment of East Asian products and food. This isn't close to my house so I probably won't be back. There is a food court here. We stopped and got boba that day.

Some of the instant ramen selection.

I found my newest favorite Indian spot! They seem to be famously known for their samosas and dosa. Knowing the size of the dosa - one dosa was plenty for my quick lunch and whoa did I savor every bite. I'm a lover of all forms of bread - and sorry garlic naan but you just got unseeded by dosa, lol. DOSA MASALA - $7.99 This particular dosa was bigger than the food tray, lol - and stuffed w/ a large dollop of mashed potatoes w/ peas and chopped carrots in the middle of the dosa. Their dosa had the perfect crisp on the ends, and then this chewy texture in other parts - in case you don't know what dosa is, it's a thin crepe made from a batter of rice and black lentils (thx Google). My dosa came w/ a lentil & vegetable stew that was perfect for dipping my dosa, and a green chutney that had a slight kick - also perfect for dipping. Both sauces were tasty! MANGO LASSI - $2.99 I also ordered this drink to accompany my dosa - it tasted fresh and it was quite thick. I don't have a good benchmark of mango lassi so I don't know how it compares - it wasn't overly sweet but I still enjoyed it. Next time I'd like to try one of their samosas - and indulge in one of their other dosas. I did notice a sugar cane machine at the front of the store - so I'd like to try that too. The people working here are super nice. The seating area is very small but I'm thinking the dosa is best enjoyed immediately (vs take-out). The eating area had several Indian families which is a great sign too. And the other Yelp reviews describing their food as better than somerestaurants - that speaks volumes! I'll be back for sure!

Indian food can be complicated to cook as the ingredients you need are very specialized. That being said, Cherians International Market might very well be the gateway into becoming your own Indian cuisine aficionado. This is probably the only Indian grocery market that I have ever been in. I particularly love the Asian grocery stores but to walk into a legitimate Indian grocery market was a special treat. They have everything here from all the spices you need to make anything and everything Indian depending on your regional food of choice. Biryani ingredients, tandoori spices, your kormas, your paneers, your samosas; they got it all and it's refreshing to know that there is a legit Indian grocery store in the event you want to properly cook Butter Chicken or Goat Biryani. They don't have anything meat related so you'll have to go next door to the Halal butcher but as far as your dry goods, fresh vegetables, and spices along with a smattering of home goods for cooking, Cherians has to be the best place for anything Indian! Definitely think this will be the place you need to go to for quality ingredients for anything Indian that you want to cook.

"Namdaemun" immediately made us think of the famous open market area in Korea and we assumed the store would be Korean focused. In reality, the selection and overall vibe leaned overwhelmingly Hispanic and Latin American, with very few Korean items. Name vs Reality The name feels misleading. We came in expecting a Korean grocery market concept, but most of the products (including the bakery) were predominantly Hispanic. The shopper base also didn't feel very Korean, so it didn't come across as a Korean market experience. Selection If you are looking for Hispanic, Latin American, South American, or Central American groceries and produce, this place may actually be a solid option. It just doesn't match what the "Namdaemun" name implies. Atmosphere and Cleanliness The atmosphere felt more like a discount store than a bright, modern market. The store felt more cramped and less clean, open, and bright compared to places like H Mart or Mega Mart. Visually, it also leaned more flashy and cluttered rather than clean and curated. Who I would recommend it for I'd recommend this market for shoppers specifically seeking Hispanic or Latin American grocery items and produce. If you're coming in expecting a Korean market experience because of the name, you may be disappointed like we were. Would we return? Probably not for what we were originally looking for, but I can see it being useful for people shopping for Latin American ingredients and products.
