I haven't been to this location since prior to the Pandemic! I was kinda nervous after looking at the reviews. But hunger made me order a pickup order. The manager of this place is absolutely one of the worst!! Im a customer eating and man comes in and refills his cup. This lady who latter identified herself as the manager started yelling at him telling him to get out and not come back. He had purchased a meal he was obviously on lunch break he was not loitering disruptive nor disrespectful. The Manager was rude loud and disrupted the entire restaurant!! Just tried this sub chain for the first time ever a few months ago. I was picking something up at FedEx and decided to grab brunch here. I ordered take-out: a cheesesteak sub, chips, cookie, and a drink. I really enjoyed the firehouse and dalmatian themed decor. There was only one customer inside and plenty of room to spread out and order when I went. The service was friendly and efficient; the food was ready pretty quickly. I really enjoyed my cheesesteak sub. Even though I was raised on Subway and will always be loyal to the brand, I think I liked Firehouse Subs' take on a cheesesteak a bit better. It was also a bit cheaper than Jersey Mike's cheesesteaks (at least cheaper than the ones I've had in Hawaii back home anyway). You can't beat a traditional sandwich from Philly or South Jersey, but it was still a good, satisfying cheesesteak sub. They gave a complimentary pickle too which was nice. For dessert, the cookie I got was soft and fresh tasting. I would definitely order again from this location. read more

3 kids working, I was the only customer. Ordered 2 sandwiches, which took 15 minutes and were both wrong. Place was dirty. Bhupesh not only took my order but then went and made the wrong sandwiches having just took the order 5 seconds prior. Place needs some adult supervision. read more

These firefighter founded restaurants have a fire station scheme and are adorned with various regalia of the sort. I've been to several and notice that each location seems to have a unique large mural which combines firefighting scene with local flavor (the one in Gainesville, FL had gators on it). Subs are heated with steam instead of being toasted like Quizno's. This makes them moist (not bad) but lacking toastiness (not so good). I like the turkey and beef sandwiches, but do not like the meatball and ham sandwiches. All have large amount of meats. They offer a large array of hot sauces (50+ kinds) and have them arranged by order of hotness. It adds incentive to go back and taste different ones. There's a house sauce called Sorenson's which I found to be extremely sweet, only a little spicy. Overall, it's kind of pricey for fast food. Worth a try though. read more

The 3 gentlemen working that evening were well mannered, friendly and professional. Had lunch here with a couple of friends this past Saturday afternoon (and forgot to check in again). Their sandwiches are great, especially since they have the huge selection of hot sauces to choose from. I love spicy food, and this gives me an opportunity to try different hot sauces without buying a bottle and regretting it afterwards. The place was spic and span, you could have eaten off any surface in the place, and the staff were very friendly and chatty. I love firehouse subs and was ecstatic when I drove by one the other day. The location is hard to miss with the road construction and traffic. It's actually right next to a JJ wings. I went in after finally finding a parking spot. The place was narrow, but the order line was in the back which is great (as it makes it easier to get in/out of a place without the ordering line blocking the entrance). The cashier was great, she knew this was the lunch rush and got everyone's order asap, and even repeated them to you to make sure. My sandwich was quick and tasted great. They greet you when you walk in the door while many places never say hello even when you order. The food is top flight as well - not like the boring mega chain subway. Even though I ordered online, waited 20 minutes before I arrived, they did not start my order until I got there. I was very disappointed. Waited 15 minutes for a sub, while friends got pizza next door, they were in the car waiting for me and I asked when my sub would be ready, another 5 minutes (which means another 10 minutes) so I go a refund after almost 20 minutes of waiting. Pass this place by!!! read more

Great subs as usual...the atmosphere at this location is usually pretty nice and very courteous. The same applied today except for an employees that was on break in the customer area. Normally this would not be a problem except but his particular employee was on her phone carrying on a very loud conversation with someone. I was a big fan of this firehouse until today. I placed my order using Uber eats, when I received my order it was wrong. I called Firehouse and spoke with an employee, he asked for my name and order and proceeded to tell me I ordered extra mayo when actually I ordered no mayo. I told him I ordered no mayo, extra cheese and extra BBQ sauce which I put all this info in the special instructions section on Uber eats. Funny thing is, my sandwich did have the extra cheese and BBQ sauce, but they insisted that they got no special instructions on the order from Uber Eats...... If that was the case how would they know to put extra cheese and BBQ sauce???? The lady was very unprofessional and blamed he problem on Uber eats instead of just saying we messed up. I used to love firehouse subs until I visited this location. The staff decided to prepare my sandwich the way they wanted me to have it instead how I asked for it. Apparently after a certain hour, they refuse to add toppings because they are being cheap. So my sandwich was made with mayo and lettuce, nothing else. When I asked the employee where were the other toppings he said they were out. As I continued to press him, he said, well we have tomatoes, etc, but we aren't allowed to use any until tomorrow. On top of that I asked for a refund and he couldn't even do that. He had to call a manager to get approval for the refund. No apology or anything. When I went to the website for Firehouse subs to share my bad experience, the didn't even bother to reply or acknowledge it. You can have a great product, but if your service is poor, your destined for failure. In short - if you go to firehouse subs after 4 o'clock pm, be prepared to have a sandwich with meat and bread because they are too cheap. I will never visit this location again; but I'd recommend the location on Peachtree Road in the Buckhead community of Atlanta. Their service is always excellent! read more
