#12 veggie banh mi and #16 special combo banh mi
Alyanna T.

My partner and I ordered a #12 veggie banh mi and #16 special combo banh mi - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients in my veggie banh mi. I'm obsessed w the combo of mayo/butter, pate, and fish sauce at my regular go-to spot, so this sandwich is different, but still tasty TEXTURE: 4/5 - the bread was fresh and nice to bite into. The daikon, cilantro, and carrots were crisp too PRICE: 5/5 - our total was only $13! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - baguettes were not as long and the sandwich wasn't stuffed, but still good for a light lunch SERVICE: 4/5 - Huy's was empty when we arrived at 11:45am on a Saturday. Our border was ready in a few minutes PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in Live Oak Plaza

I love banh bao. I have tried many places and I like to go here. The flavor and ratio of meat to bread is perfect. There's egg and lap xuong inside.

This casual Vietnamese counter-serve spot has your banh mi, bubble tea and other specialties. Here you can get the cheapest banh mi but tasty at the same time. Bread is perfect and service is fast. Sandwiches are super fresh and smells so good! There are boba options and snacks and other items on the menu as well. Fresh, tasty and excellent prices. You will not be disappointed. Where else can you find banh mi for less than four dollars? ... I'll wait.

My absolute favorite Banh mi spot in metro ATL. (2nd best is Banh Mi Cafe). The bun is crispy, light, and fluffy. The condiments are finger licking tasty. The veggies are fresh combined with your choice of meat. There is literally something for EVERYONE. And the original package baggie the sandwiches come in are so cute too. Every time I come I always get my favorite, the #1. Cold Combo meats. Which I recommend for first timers or the BBQ pork or chicken. The crispness of bun with the sweetness pickled veggies with the sponginess of the meats and the paste. Sooo good. On top of everything the nice older man behind the counter is so friendly. Makes you feel like a part of their family. I love it there honestly. Always make a stop every time I'm in the area. WORTH IT !!

$3.70 for a Tasty Banhmi? heck yeah! I don't know how Mr Huy does it! Maybe he gets by on volume of sandwiches sold? Whatever the reason, come here now! keep coming so we can continue having amazing $4 sandwiches!!!

Stopped in to enjoy delicious Vietnamese Food while passing through town to Duluth…read more This place is huge and so is their menu. Its clean, comfy and authentic with their decor and food. Service was excellent. Plates getting cleared, drinks quickly refilled and constantly getting checked in on. The food was amazing! From appetizers to main courses. The pictures I took so this place no justice. Their spring rolls, pho, fried rice and lobster were all on point. Very flavorful. The shaken beef was very tender. I'm salivating as I write this review. The mango smoothies were very refreshing as it was over 90 degrees amd humid when my family dined here. This family owned establishment is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Thank me later!

NOPE!!!! I was way off... I literally ordered chicken fried rice... Com Chien Ga... That being said... the rice was fluffy, there was a balance of rice, meat, and veggies, and it was super flavorful. I did add a dollop of Sriracha to each spoonful because there were no side dishes and unlike Pho where it's all contained in one bowl of delicious, homely, rich, hearty, beef broth laden with aromatics and copious amounts of varying cuts of meat... this bowl of literal chicken fried rice was just that, chicken fried rice. But I was hoping for Hainanese Chicken Rice because Com Ga is Com Ga wherever you go that is a Viet place... not true... not true at all... It's good to be sure... but Nam Phuong is a staple pho joint... I'm going to have to stick with pho whenever I go there

No porkiness from any of pork items served with, all the condiments and topping for that extra crispness and flavor bomb, and the broth was right on with some of that hot chili oil flakes added. When it comes to…read moreVietnamese food in metro Atlanta, I think this restaurant is among the better options and my Asian/Vietnamese foodie friends generally agree. Where this place lacks - at least in our experience today - is in service and ambiance (even by casual Vietnamese restaurant standards). Hu Tieu My Tho opened in October 2019 and is located in the popular Hong Kong Supermarket shopping center on Jimmy Carter Blvd, near I-85 exit 99. Locals know this as the hub for the Vietnamese community in Atlanta. On weekends and holidays, it can get crowded. The restaurant name comes from the Vietnamese dish "hu tieu," which is a clear rice noodle dish, and "My Tho," which is the specific southern city in Vietnam where this style of cuisine was perfected. This is not a pho restaurant. Instead, this place specializes in both hu tieu and "mi" (egg noodles) as well as other dishes like Vietnamese steak and eggs. It's fairly unique, which is a big part of the draw and appeal. Here's what three of us had: A1. Goi Cuon (2 for $5.50) x2 - spring rolls with shrimp and pork A3. Cha Gio (2 for $5.25) - fried egg rolls D15. Ca Phe Sua Da ($5.99) - Vietnamese coffee H3. Hu Tieu My Tho Dac Biet ($15.50) - House Special Rice Noodle Soup - char siu, crab, fish ball, pork liver, pork heart, ground pork, quail eggs, bone-on pork shank H6. Hu Tieu Nam Vang ($14.50) - Phnom Penh-style Rice Noodle Soup - char siu, shrimp, pork liver, pork heart, ground pork, quail egg, squid H10. Hu Tieu Bo Kho ($14.99) - Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup - round and flank beef, carrots M5. Mi Hoanh Thanh ($14.50) - Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup - char siu, wontons Everything was fresh and tasty. When it comes to the hu tieu, the restaurant gives you the option of soft or firm noodle texture. In addition, you can get dishes "dry" (no soup) or with soup. If it's your first time, you should try the traditional way with soup. I really like the variety of hu tieu and mi offered here; for example, my friend likes the Phnom Penh-style noodle soup, which is Cambodian. Overall, I found the food to be solid all around. After we were initially seated and served, the staff never checked on us again. I think this was partly because they were busy. I noticed at least two other tables having the same problem we did -- having to flag down a server. As for ambiance, seating was tight. I actually refrained from ordering an extra dish because of the lack of table space. And, while not uncommon for Vietnamese restaurants, multiple tables weren't immediately cleaned. Also, the men's restroom was dirty. I'd like to return and try one of the steak and egg dishes; for example S1. Chao Xiu Mai ($15.99), S2. Banh Mi Chao Dac Biet ($18.99), or S3. Chao Bo Steak / Bo Xao ($16.75).

Off rip, this is across the street from the DICKs/PetSmart plaza just off Peachtree Pkwy in Peachtree Corners. It's a tiny little plaza so don't miss the road off Peachtree Pkwy or else you will miss it entirely and double back. If you come to LA Fitness, you've gone too far! Let's start with the interior It is spacious! The whole restaurant uses the corner suite of the building entirely and curved the whole place to create this decently expansive interior that looks to seat roughly 100 heads. The decor is very homely... almost like a Vietnamese Hobby Lobby threw up in the place... that's not a dig! It's a very welcoming environment. Between the deer head and the Saigon-esque decor, it's a welcoming joint! The service is basic. You get sat. You look at the menu. You order. They bring out the fixins'. You eat. You pay. You leave. I got one refill during my 45 eating time.. The food! Had to order the pho because... it's the most basic standard thing to gauge any all around Viet joint. The pho is the standard that tells you if the place is good. I will say, this place has a far richer, deeper broth. Plus it's fattier as I've noticed a slight sheen to my lips after slurping this broth down. The broth had less cinnamon and more corriander/cardamom forward flavor than other places. It's not a bad thing, just far different than the other places that has a more pronounced cinnamon forward flavor to the broth. This one has more depth and has a far richer taste to it. I do appreciate that they err on the side of serving tendon and tripe in their P10. And the XL is definitely an XL. The noodles did come out stuck together but the broth did take care of. I was a little disappointed that they had to opt with lemons instead of the traditional limes and they did not have basil at my visit. Maybe next time they will when I visit because I will have to make a visit again just to try the pho to make sure it's not a one off but that they stay consistent. Overall this place is comparable to some of the popular ones in and around the Norcross/Duluth area. The prices are definitely comparable with this joint's XL being at $17.95, it's definitely comparable to other places, but the identities of the restaurants are different and this one has an interior that stands out above the rest. Definitely recommend!
