In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. We ordered this Injelomi Croffle, along with this Black Sesame Shaved Ice to share. Well, the Croffle was still beautifully presented (though a tad differently), and tasted delish. But to be frank, I thought it looked and tasted better on my first visit. As for the shaved ice, the Black Sesame presentation was downright ugly (must deduct a point for this!)...but luckily, this dessert tasted refreshingly good! I just felt that this should have been presented better. Despite some disappointments with the presentations, we thoroughly enjoyed both desserts. I'm sure I'll be returning in the future.

I happened to be there during this transition, and my friend and I figured we should try a few things from their menu. The service was great. Our waitress/the bartender answered a lot of our questions and was very friendly. The food was pretty decent for a cafe; I wouldn't come here specifically for these items. However, if I was doing work already at the cafe and was hungry, I wouldn't mind buying the small plates here.

I got it hot with oat milk so it's creamy, nutty and it doesn't even feel like I'm drinking coffee - which can be dangerous. I got a second one to go before I left. I also had a croissant which is very reasonably priced at $3. I'm not much of a sweets person so depending on the next time I'm in, I'd be curious to try their croffle - I still haven't had one yet in general. Even if I'm not there for a dessert, I'm looking very forward to the next time I have an excuse to stop by this cafe.
