One of the better Banh Mi places in Duluth! Great location close to grocery market, sweethut, teso etc. You can order ahead or on Kiosk in the store. Select the bread size, filling and toppings. The kiosk allows you to customize additional toppings or remove any toppings. Highly recommend the sugar cane juice. Its fresh and made to order in front of you. The Banh Mi tasted delicious. Pretty decent prices compared to other Banh Mi places around. Fast service. Plenty of parking.

Wow I'm so happy to have discovered this Banh Mi spot . We ordered a grilled pork and they were offering a special on the Fried Pork Belly Banh mi (it was actually the last one ) and boy did we get lucky . It was not only fried to perfection but fresh tasty and perfect . The grilled pork was great also but I'd say put the fried pork on the menu permanently. The veggies (cucumbers, jalapeños , cilantro , & carrots are the freshest I've ever seen ) the bread had the perfect crust and the softest center. My only suggestion is you should definitely be consistent in cleaning the tables after everyone leaves . Or at least every 30 min do a wipe down & sweep. the trash can by the door was over flowing and the tables were covered in crumbs , napkins and receipts on the ground . But otherwise friendly staff and efficient service great prices and the Best Banh Mi I've had in a long time ... dare I say better than Lee's Bakery in Atl.

Unfortunately, my first impression upon walking in was that it had a weird smell that was hard to describe, but fortunately I didn't let that deter me. This was one of the best Banh Mi I've ever had. It was packed to the brim with meat (I've genuinely never had so much meat on a Banh Mi without requesting extra) and was incredibly flavorful. The only thing I didn't love was this string of, what I can only describe as cotton candy mixed with dental floss like thing they put on the sandwich. I've never had it before and hope to not have it again, but even with that it was still amazing. It's unbelievable how much you get for $6. The bread is fresh and delicious. Bahn Mi don't get much better. The service is friendly and I had a chuckle when the guy behind the counter asked if this was my first time trying Bahn Mi (as it's probably my favorite food). Can't wait to go back.

I've only had "Be Banh Mi" when friends go to ATL and bring it back to me. So while I was in town, I had to go. I like that restaurant is it's opened and modern. It's clean too. We stopped by in the morning before hitting the road to come back home to TN. It was like a fast food spot, service was quick and easy. I love the breadstick banhmi cause I'm not a fan of bread. Brought some back home, warmed it up in the air fryer and it was still good.

***FOOD: Absolutely craveable grilled pork #2 banh mi. All meats and veggies were so fresh. Was really good. Ordered the stick The BREAD was crispy and delicious. The filling was good especially the marinated pork. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ very reasonable for the sandwiches $7. Good deal since they were so good and filling. Had to order 2. One for the road since it usually never names it home before eating the sandwich ***DÉCOR: industrial, bare with basic small tables and bench and a few chairs. Need a larger garbage can by the door. In the strip mall on the other end where Great Wall Sweet Hut are located. ***SERVICE: order at counter, called us to pick up sandwiches when they were finished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - will definitely go back again and again to satisfy my banh mi craving.

So... this is pretty good and affordable Banh Mi. This is not by any means a fancy looking spot.. or big or lots of seating but the food is good. The price point is good. So far the drinks are good. The bread is very fresh. They will let you buy the bread too. You can get a smaller banh mi or the larger size for about 6 bucks. Smaller one is 4 something. They have a thai green milk tea which isn't matcha.. but it taste like it? taste like thai jasmine matcha its pretty good.. Defiantly will have you waking up. You can order on a kiosk or with a real person. Your choice.

Love their banh mi!! I decided to try this place out during out road trip, compared to other well-known, higher reviews places in the area just because I saw how delicious their bread is on the reviews!! I wasn't wrong. The baguette itself is authentic more than most place I've eaten in the US, crunchy outside and soft, airy inside, served warm - perfect. We try their Dac Biet, Thit Nuong, and Xiu Mai. The Dac Biet is classic, packed with fresh veggies. I would recommend to get more egg whipped mayo or pate to be more flavorful. Thit Nuong was the best!!! Pork is well-marinated, full with flavor. For some reason, my banh mi thit nuong comes with more mayo. Maybe that's why it's so good Xiu mai can be more flavorful. Taste great when add chinsun hot sauce or their house sauce. Ca phe sua is great. I also got the sugarcane juice but I gave it a 5/10. The staff was friendly. Quick service and clean place

There aren't many places that are just this classically good in the Duluth area. Banh Mis are on every single corner but this is the OG, original and amazing flavor that you expect. The restaurant itself is a new-age and contemporary place without many frills in the dining area. You have the option of ordering on a kiosk or ordering in person which is nice since this place seems to get packed rapidly in the mornings. And when I say "packed", I mean packed. You can walk in 30 seconds after opening time and be the 50th order in line, but the line moves FAST. I recommend the fried egg banh mi. It's a classic, it's perfectly overeasy and pairs beautifully with the butter and crunchy bread. I can't ignore how delicious the grilled pork is as well because it's a classic pork flavor without being demolished with lemongrass. I wasn't there long enough to try the menu, but in 4 days, I ate about 11 sandwiches in total. On my last day leaving Georgia, I timed departure with the ability to grab 4 sandwiches to go. This is delicious. It's more than delicious, it's moorish; every single bite leaves you wanting more. There aren't many restaurants where I'm planning on coming back before I've even left the table, but this is one you'll love.

For my first time this was amazing!!! It was a little greasy the K BBQ Banh mi but overall it's a good experience as my first one! Would come again. :)

There's a lot of banh mi places in Duluth, but this one was the closest from my house. Walking in, I noticed there weren't many tables, but since it was empty there was enough. There is a kiosk where you can order and pay, but it was out of order. Instead, someone took out order at the counter and was quick to take care of us. I ordered a number one, and it comes with a variety of meat with cilantro, mayo, pickled carrots and something else, and jalapeños. It was around $5 and as a plus it came out fast. The sandwich was so fresh and crunchy, I would definitely recommend especially if you're looking for a quick, cheap meal!

If you're in the Duluth area and need a quick fix of Banh Mi Sandwiches, Be Banh Mi is the place to go! They have a wide variety of different types of banh mi's and they come out quickly. Service at the restaurant is extremely good and the workers there will assist you if you have any questions, the restaurant itself pretty spacious and you can dine there as well. Only had to wait five minutes for mine to come out. Definitely will be back here.

I want to be upfront with this review and call out my experience honestly…read more Personally, I'm sensitive to heavy MSG usage. When I eat at many Japanese or Korean soup restaurants that don't rely heavily on MSG, I rarely get headaches afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I ordered the bún bò Huế, a spicy and rich Vietnamese noodle soup originating from the central city of Huế. Traditionally, it features a bold, savory broth flavored with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with thick rice vermicelli noodles, sliced beef, pork (often shank or knuckle), and fresh herbs with crunchy vegetables like banana blossom or cabbage. The portion was generous and visually accurate to the dish, but the broth felt extremely heavy and overpowering for me, and I left with a noticeable headache--something that doesn't usually happen to me at similar soup-focused restaurants. As a side note, the restaurant had a health inspection score of 81 (low B) the last time I checked, which is fairly in line with many older, high-volume ethnic restaurants, but still worth mentioning for transparency. The location is also something to be aware of. It's in a busy parking lot with a lot of reckless driving activity, so be careful when walking--this isn't the kind of place where you can casually stroll through the lot like you might at Whole Foods or Publix. You definitely need to watch left and right. The surrounding businesses include an American Deli and a pizza buffet, which gives you an idea of the overall environment. Overall, Pho Dai Lo serves authentic, bold-flavored Vietnamese dishes, and fans of strong, intense broths may enjoy it. However, if you're sensitive to very rich seasoning or additives, your experience may vary. Im Asian btw I know msg is used in a lot of viet and Chinese dishes and maybe the reasons why I enjoyed this dish. But I do have regret after coming out. It's not cheap either for two person with tip roughly $20 pp. u can get all you can eat buffet or even the Gohan seafood buffet if you think about it.

She's been there so long that I just call her my aunty at this point. Today, I did a little takeout haul--grabbed five banh mi sandwiches (Shrimp, Steak, Chicken, Special Combo & BBQ Pork). The wait time was super chill, maybe 15-20 minutes max. My usual go-to is the Special Combo, but since I was ordering for friends, I let them pick first. Ended up with the Shrimp Banh Mi today, which I hadn't had in forever. Solid 7/10. My dad knows I'm obsessed with the Special Combo, so he shared some with me, and yep--still a 10/10, no question. Aunty also has a deal where if you buy five items, you get one free, so I went for the spring rolls. They were pretty simple--just shrimp, carrots, and noodles--good but nothing crazy. 6/10. Now, back to the sandwiches! My friends gave the Chicken and BBQ Pork both an 8/10. The bread was soft, the meat and veggies were balanced just right, and overall, it was just chef's kiss. Honestly, I love banh mi so much. If you haven't been here yet, you're seriously missing out. Pull up!! Until next time :)

I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. I will come again...because I love Bánh hỏi.

Unfortunately, tonight was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We arrived almost two hours before closing, and the restaurant was not busy. Despite that, our food came out very late, with half of it being served when we were already preparing to leave. It was also my husband's birthday, and since we run a business ourselves, it's hard for us to plan outings--so this was meant to be a simple, enjoyable dinner. I ordered a chocolate cake, which arrived completely frozen. I let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and it was still rock solid, so I had to send it back. On top of that, as we were leaving, we were still waiting on spring rolls and a chicken baguette. It also took a long time just to get the check so we could leave. The most upsetting part: As we were walking out, an older gentleman and our usual server stopped us and asked for a tip. My husband explained that we weren't leaving a tip because the service was poor and extremely slow--specifically mentioning that the younger server never came to our table until around 2:05 AM. Instead of handling this professionally, the server became angry, started kicking us out, and even called us "cheap." We have never been confronted like this before. Business owner to business owner, I would NEVER speak to a customer this way. If service isn't up to standard, getting upset at customers for not tipping is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The food is still good, and I've always recommended this place to others--but treating loyal customers this way is ridiculous and avoidable. Did they lose a customer? Yes. Will I miss coming here? Yes. Could this have been handled better? Absolutely.
