Came by to try it again after almost a year. As soon as we walked in and were seated the restaurant smelled like we were bathroom that was just cleaned with strong products. Ordered the combination pho and a shaking beef. The pho broth was more on the beefy side which we liked but for the price of a regular sized bowl, we expected it to be filled a bit more. Not much noodles. They also do thick noodles here, wished we had the thin ones (not sure if they have that option). The shaking beef tasted great, came with fried egg and a soup. Could have went without the soup. Overall not bad but prefer the pho and shaking beef at another restaurant nearby. Likely won't return.

I have not been back here in a few years and it is just as delicious as I remember. They make their pho noodles from scratch and the noodles taste completely different than the chain places. Their broth also has so much more flavor. And their avocado smoothie is honestly the best I have ever had. The service is quick and everybody is pleasant.

We popped in here for a quick lunch and it was a satisfactory experience. We got great service and good food. It was pleasant to take a break with them. We started with the pork and shrimp spring rolls which were tasty. Having the basil leaves' stem stick out amused us. The peanut sauce was delicious. One person got the fried rice and enjoyed it. Apparently it came with chicken soup but he was full when he finished the rice and didn't try it. My daughter and I both had pho ga and it was a tasty broth. I think there was a bit of star anise in it but it didn't take over. The noodles were wider than the standard "vermicelli" noodles. The plate of goodies included the usual lime, Thai basil, bean sprouts, and a lot more. You'll have fun making it your own pho. I sat facing the tv set which showed the chefs preparing food which was a lot of fun. The restaurant was well lit and the chairs were comfortable. It looked like there were two dining areas and there was a large party in the other side.

Decent pho. The noodles are very unique and the broth is very flavorful. Great service here. Food comes out quick.

Y'all. I finally have an answer for when people ask me for the best pho in Atlanta. Hands down, my vote is for Pho Dai Nam. Ok, listen. I've been here a handful of times and almost every single time I've ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt. I usually don't order this at other pho restaurants but this place does it so well I can't refuse. We are talking about the perfect ratio of soup / meat / noodles. Speaking of meat, they are very generous with their meat servings even for a small order. The noodles are thick and delicious, not the el cheapo kind you find at most pho places. This place also doesn't skimp on vegetables and they also include a side of their house specialty hot sauce with your bowl. The house hot sauce really brings everything together. In my visits, I've tried the following: - Gỏi Cuốn (2): Fresh Spring Rolls with Pork & Shrimp - Bánh Bèo Chén: Savory streamed rice cake w/ shrimp - Phở Đặc Biệt: House special combination - Bún Măng Vịt: Duck & Bamboo Shoot Vermicelli Noddle Soup - Nui Xào Bò/Tôm: Rice Macaroni Stir-fried with Beef or Shrimp Everything is delicious! I honestly can't say I've ever had a bad dish here. I also love the cleanliness of the restaurant. Like most Asian restaurants, service is quick - I oftentimes can come during lunch and not be pressed for time. Pho Dai Nam remains one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants since I discovered it a couple of years ago. If you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for?!

We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was AMAZING! We ordered two chicken pho (regular size), and an oxtail one. Also, a pork banh mi. Everyone loved their food. I personally tried the chicken pho (took the chicken out cause I'm newly vegetarian), and it was delicious! The waiter even came over and showed us how to amplify the meat-eating experience by mixing the provided seasonings with some sauces (loved that). I highly recommend this place for your Vietnamese fix. (Also, there is a parking lot in the plaza that it's located in.)

Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch and it wasn't as packed. I came with six people and we ordered the banh xeo, banh knot, and bun bo hue. Everything but the bun bo hue was good, nothing amazing but it wasn't bad at all. For the bun bo hue, i will say that it was pretty sub par and lacked a lot of flavor. BBH is supposed to be spicy, meaty, and lemongrassy, but it didn't really have that much depth to it. My friends said this was really good for bbh so maybe they had an off day considering we ordered six bowls of it, but they do have a large menu so next time i'm in the area i would give it a chance again.

Insanely good food! Had a business meeting in Norcross and was excited to hit up some good chow on this side of town. This place had great reviews and didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian I could not try the Pho but they had a few veg dishes on the menu. Went with the tofu and noodles. Lots of fresh veggies and a great side sauce. Had some crispness on the side (fried onions) that were amazing. The whole dish blended well. Super polite staff and cashier (owner?). Highly recommend.

Came here to visit my friend. The food is great, freshly made and awesome service. Will definitely come back when we plan our next trip.

We were going to stop by VN tofu for some snacks but they were closed so we decided to have dinner instead. Pho Dai Nam is in the same shopping center as VN Tofu and Hong Kong. Upon arrival we were seated right away. We ordered a bowl of pho each and a Vietnamese coffee. The broth is so good! The noodles are thick just they way I like them. I wasn't very hungry so I got a small pho with filet mignon. Next time I'll have to try other things off the menu. I saw that they had a new location in Duluth so I'll definitely be trying that location also.

The service is friendly and fast. The pho broth was delicious. Think they make their own noodles because they were B-omb. I'm from out of town and we decided to give this place a try and I'm glad we did. Can't find pho like this from where I'm at unless family cooks it at home. Will definitely visit this place again when we're in town. Might just drive down for their pho, who knows.

This is by far my boyfriend most favorite Vietnamese restaurant. He loves oxtail pho so much he keeps asking to come back. And if I ask him, "Baby, where should we go for pho?" His eyes glow and I already knew. Like what do you put in your pho for this Korean man to be so in love with it. When I look into bowl, it just pho noodle, oxtail, veggies, and beef broth. Simply delicious. I always try new dishes here but my favorite is probably rice not noodle. I am Vietnamese so I am very critical with Vietnamese food outside home. But I think my boyfriend is right; this is a good place better than other Vietnamese restaurant and close to the supermarket.

paper instead of pork? very PETA strategy
    Sara M.

I'm unsure how to rate this place. I really liked the congee, but what I thought was really tough pork in their noodles turned out to be some sort of PAPER. Yup, you read me right, paper. Maybe they made a mistake and it just got added to the food (still gross), but also maybe they're cutting on meat? IDK, but this ruined our meal.

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.
