Not great, but good enough. Note about the service: I walked up to the counter to order and asked if they would bring it out--the person i ordered from said yes--so I tipped accordingly. I took a seat in the main seating area on the patio and poured myself a glass of water from the self service station. After around 20 minutes of waiting and looking inside to see if anyone was coming out i walked in and asked one of the people preparing bagels if someone was going to bring my order out. He looked confused, pointing to a row of bags on the counter, one of which was my order. Now, I tip generously for service, but more often than not i don't tip when I order and pick up my own food at a counter. Again, I felt a bit scammed. When I asked whether the nori sesame bagel was still available after seeing it given to an online order, I was met with unnecessary attitude. That interaction was the final straw for me. I don't appreciate this level of rudeness or pretentiousness in my neighborhood. It feels especially disappointing given the shop's location across from the historic El Centro de la Raza, a place that represents community, respect, and inclusivity, the values within Beacon Hill. Sadly, I won't be returning.
