Very yummy bagels!! I was really impressed with the shop. The bread was delicious and the lox was soooo fresh. It was perfectly toasted and sooo flavorful. Also the staff were super friendly. I also loved the seating area upstairs, it had such a nice atmosphere. The mural was really pretty and the whole place just had great vibes. Note to self for next time: ask for a little less cream cheese because mine was a bit overwhelming.

Great selection of more inspired breakfast or brunch combos on bagels. The bagels are a solid bake and in enough flavors to allow you to come back repeatedly. The combination of American breakfast deli with Mediterranean flavors works well. Probably the perfect work kickstart or a small pop-out break. With options from simple mocha, espressos to more unique flavor options they are a solid pour too. The space gives you limited bar or gallery above seating for a quick pass through.

Super glad I tried this place again. The bagel itself was super fresh and well toasted. Every bite was really satisfying. Love a good crispy chewy bagel. I liked the cranwich a lot. It had a healthy amount of turkey and the crispy onion was a good touch! I liked the sauce on the TurkeyBEC, but IMO it had a bit too much cheese. I couldn't taste the turkey bacon at all honestly.

I read some reviews mentioning that they had a happy hour starting at 2 PM, so I went there expecting that. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out they didn't actually have a happy hour. Nevertheless, I ordered the Taste of Istanbul with a sesame bagel and a Spanish latte. The ambience was okay; however, the seating on the main level was very uncomfortable. The bagel was good overall, though the pickled onions were too overwhelming and I had to remove some to better enjoy the hummus and cucumber. Once adjusted, the bagel was tasty and enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the Spanish latte it was excellent, not as sweet as I expected, and it complemented the bagel really well. I also loved the glass it was served in. I would definitely go back again for the coffee, although everything together cost about $20, which felt quite expensive.

Loaded bagel sandwiches in the BEST way possible! Cute upstairs seating, though limited, groups move in and out. The coffee & bagels came quickly and were generous serving sizes all around. We'll definitely be coming back! Also fun fact: created by 2 local UW students

uhm kinda surprised the latte was really good? I'm always here to support a muslim owned business if i have the opportunity, but there are some cafes that rely too much on identity politics/hype and don't actually have good food/drinks. So anyway, I went to toasted and I will be back again! The pumpkin pie latte was actually so fricken good. I asked for half sweet with whole milk and it was perfect. It wasn't overly cinnamon-y like some PSLs can be. Very well balanced and actually tastes like pumpkin pie. The bagels were good too. Nothing revolutionary, I have to be honest, but the flavor combinations are unique (i.e. date and labneh) and worth trying. My only critique would be to toast them a little less. They were pretty crispy haha. Parking - the SLU location is mostly street parking Seating - fair number of seats in their loft space, but it can get busy on weekend mornings. I think it would be smart to grab a drink/bagel and go walk along the water!

Ordered a gingerbread latte and sesame bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. All very good so if you're looking for bagels and coffee I would recommend. The space is nice to sit in than a lot of the other coffee bagel places around with a cool upstairs and no loud music. There was quite a bit of smoke in the air from toasted bagels though but that just could've been the day I was there. The staff was typical Seattle not too friendly but not unfriendly.

My cousin was in town visiting and said she's been eyeing this spot so we decided to stop by early morning before whale watching. The place is bright and clean, very welcoming. On a Sunday morning, there was a bit of a line but we didn't wait too long. She ordered the toasted lox and I the plain bagel with plain cream cheese with a caramel macchiato. Wow, the bagel is impressive in size and flavor. The cream cheese was delicious and complimented the bagel so well. I would definitely come back again.

There was so much hype around this place, but I really didn't think it was anything special. I came around lunch time and there was a good number of people here but we were still able to find a spot to sit. I really like how they have loft seating! I got an everything bagel with lox and hummus, which came out to around $17, which is a bit ridiculous for the size of the bagel. The hummus and lox both did taste good, but the bagel itself really wasn't anything that good in terms of texture or flavor. It was also pretty small. I don't think this spot is really worth the hype it gets.

Restaurant is a little dirty, probably from the morning rush. Theres a lot of calm greenery in the space which sets a nice mood. We got the turkeyBEC (sesame bagel) and the turkey pesto peach bagel sandwiches (everything bagel). The turkeyBEC is nice and filling. Couldnt quite theatre the secret sauce but it is good regardless. The turkey pesto peach sandwich is out and refreshing!

Cute little bagel shop on Dexter Ave around a bunch of other places to eat but most seem to be for lunch or dinner. Nice barista behind the bar. Typical bagel options and sandwiches. Normal coffee offerings as well. Bagels were fresh and loaded with cream cheese. Process were fair.

Wanted a quick treat when I was in this area and glad I tried it, cool looking spot. Overall I thought the bagel was just alright but I like the sun-dried tomato cream cheese!

Quick and friendly service. The coffee was tasty! The bagels were great but way too much cream cheese. All three bagels we ordered could have shared the cream cheese. Next time!

I went on a Saturday morning around 1030 and there was only a small line, which moved very quickly. This is not a cafe - you are here to buy bagels and the fixings. My particular bagel was a little on the drier side, but even then, it is still a very strong contender for Seattle standards. If you are looking for a high-quality bagel and don't mind a little line, this place is definitely a must-visit. I'll be back to try a few more of their schmear flavors soon!

Your business was so hot when it opened and it actually went downhill about 6 years ago and I am not sad to see you go. Josh - to respond to your comment. My note should have inspired some reflection with the business model but it didn't. Your level of greed was insane and that is not forgiven here. You started hot and decided to squeeze more than your share from this business and this is what happens. You messed around and found out. It's sad because I actually supported the business when it opened but quickly had to end my dealings due to the high level of greed. You did this to your own business by wanting more, more and more, so please don't play the victim here. I'm sorry that you're saddened by this but what you did to the community is far worse than what I said. Actually ripping people off with your product is not having humanity. I'm not the inhumane one here and let's get that straight. I didn't rip people off - you did! You got what you deserved and that's that. You likely have time to turn things around but I doubt you can reduce your greed in time. If you do, I'll gladly come back and support yall. Again - food was great and greed was not.

The bagel itself was smaller than a typical bagel and had some kippers and cooked (not smoked) salmon in the center. The bagel was chewy but lacked any crispiness on the outside. Adequate amount of cream cheese. The salmon had barely detectable flavor, while most of the flavor came from the capers. Overall, I felt a bit like I had been scammed. The chocolate chip cookie was actually pretty good. Not great, but good enough. Note about the service: I walked up to the counter to order and asked if they would bring it out--the person i ordered from said yes--so I tipped accordingly. I took a seat in the main seating area on the patio and poured myself a glass of water from the self service station. After around 20 minutes of waiting and looking inside to see if anyone was coming out i walked in and asked one of the people preparing bagels if someone was going to bring my order out and he looked confused, pointing to a row of bags on the counter, one of which was my order. Now, I tip generously for service, but more often than not i don't tip when I order and pick up my own food at a counter. Again, I felt a bit scammed. There are much better bagel options in Seattle, and certainly ones that don't ask $16 for such an unremarkable one that I had.

However, they do work very well for the sandwiches. The everything bagel is absolutely loaded with seasoning, and has an incredible saltiness (I'm a salty man, so this is a good thing). I feel as though this elevates the eggs to a new level. I was immediately drawn to a pastrami breakfast sandwich, because it's a top tier meat. This will feel more like you're eating thin roast beef because of the color, but it's still pretty good. I do think that this sandwich needs some acidity to balance out all of the fat, so grab some hot sauce at the counter. Overall this was a great sandwich, and I would get it again. That being said, I feel like the bagels are lacking due to a fault in a core ingredient. They all come with potatoes, and I think that they're either boiled or not quite roasted enough. Having to deal with undercooked potatoes dispersed throughout a mondo burrito is a battle that I'm unwilling to wage - but people seem to love 'em. The other ingredients and overall flavor is nice, though. Rachel's is a fun place with good coffee, too. And they let me bring my dog in which is dope.
