Oh and the coffee is always hot and fresh!

These are the best bagels IMO. They are soft, but crisp on the outside and fluffy. They have a ton of different flavors such as strawberry, scallion and bacon cheddar. They have employees that have been working there for years (30+) and treat them well. The sandwiches are all stellar, my favorite is the belly buster. Roast beef, cheddar , bacon and Luger sauce heated up on a roll. The only thing I think they fail at is coffee, but you can't have it all right?

Was in the area and wanted a quick bite. This location is smaller compared to the other branches, and the ordering system is a bit messy. The ordering counter is towards the straight end of the shop, and because it was crowded on the day of my visit, I had to yell/scream my sandwich order to the staff. The line to pay for my order was also hectic and all over the place (it's so cramped inside the shop, there's no place to move). The customers in front of me had similar orders to mine, no one knew which is which or who is who. Overall, the paying process was a bit overwhelming. Once I received my ham/egg/cheese on a roll, I've forgotten about the messy paying process. The breakfast sandwich tasted really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my food while walking around the neighborhood

Just the location. I didn't take a picture of the sandwich because since she call and was told to go ahead and get a refund and a different.

the manager was very rude to my daughter. We ordered 2 paninis and the bacon was raw. So my daughter called and was told to come back the next day for a refund, he was a different person than who we talked to. He was rude to my daughter made her feel bad about how he treated her. One sometimes you get a good sandwich or panini and they're friendly, but not on that day. He gave her 20 and change but still it cost 30 n chang. lost ten dol but that not the real issue he was rude, condescending n dismissive.

Bagel with Fresh Lox and Cream Cheese and avocado

I have a personal favorite bagel spot and don't usually venture out but my husband offered to pick up some bagels from a new spot closer to home for brunch on the way home from Target. He knows what I usually get so I trusted his judgment and hubby did not disappoint. Each of our sandwiches had cream cheese, lox and avocado - one on sesame bagel (his) and one with everything (mine). Bagel Boy has solid bagels and I was very impressed. The cream cheese spread was plentiful, lox generous and avocados enough for a well rounded sandwich. I don't usually finish my entire bagel but managed to scarf down the entire thing today - without feeling overly stuffed. I can't wait to come back to try more things on the menu and bring my kids!

I've only tried this via uber eats but I can tell you each time they deliver, literally. The bagels are surprisingly very good! I know you won't find this on the list of top bagels but it is still worth trying. The everything bagel is crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. My go to order here is everything bagel with eggs & turkey bacon! Have to keep it halal! On the sweet side, the cinnamon bagel never disappoints! A great bagel choice!

One of the best bagel shops left in New York City. They say bagels are all about the water and nobody out of New York can replicate it. Weekends are always SUPER busy. It's ok as they usually have 10 or more people on staff. Great bagels and other things to choose from. Sandwiches, paninis, wraps, assorted flavored and regular cream cheese, all types of bagels, coffees, teas, pastries, cookies, fruits, drinks, and a full catering service. The food is fresh, bagels are freshly made, the store is clean, consistent good service and the owner or manager are usually there to insure the experience is a good one. I would highly recommend them especially of course for their bagels.

I came here for a large coffee this morning. I walked in and found plenty of staff members behind the counter ready to take your order with two additional staff members ready to ring you up. They even had in-house delivery members as well. I ordered a large French vanilla hot coffee. While I was waiting for it, they had plenty of bagels and different types of cream cheeses. Their breakfast menu is pretty extensive included pancakes, egg platters, and omelets. The prices are right. I paid $2.85 for a large coffee. The coffee was hot and made to my liking. I will definitely be back. The place is super clean and the staff is very helpful and professional.

Have heard people speak of this place for years but really haven't been in a while so I figured I go to give it an honest review. The bagel was great. My favorite egg everything is a good place to start when trying out a bagel shop. The bagel had a soft interior that surprised me. No heavy bagels here. The exterior was baked perfectly without being too chewy or crusty. Perfect. Had my egg everything with cream cheese cant go wrong. Bonus points: The Bagel was still warm around 7am on a weekday. Place is visibly clean and the staff are ok. Try them out!

3.5/5 Wanted to explore more bagel options in the area and saw this place was highly reviewed. Went on a Saturday morning, it was busy, but the line moved really fast. I was impressed by how speedy the service was. I ordered a sesame bagel with butter and a sesame bagel with sausage, eggs and cheese. The bagels were loaded with sesame seeds, the eggs were fluffy and not dry. However, the bagels were very chewy for my taste. With each bite, I had bread stuck to my teeth. Good service, but the texture of the bagels were not for me.

Ask the Community - Bagel Boy

    Do they ship bagels?

Yes they do. Go to the website.

Are the Rainbow Bagels seasonal? Or are they available all year round?

    Year round

    Are there any vegan options?

Croissants, as addressed in the first answer, are not vegan by any stretch of the imagination. The thing that makes them flaky is butter. Bagel Boy does not carry vegan croissants. As to Kate B's answer, most bagels are NOT vegan because most have… Read more

TL;DR version- Some high highs and some very low lows. Hot Figs was a fun app. By a mile, the soups…read morewere the favorites, so I would recommend the Pepián or Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo. Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.

The eggs rothko was buttery and flavorful but still managed to not feel too heavy. The broiled tomatos on the side were a nice touch to contrast the egg and toast from the main dish.
