This bagel pub a few blocks from the 1 2 3 4 and 5 trains is a treat in the neighborhood. The bagel are fresh and delicious. These are the bagels you can eat plain but there are plenty of selections my favorite is the raising bagel. Toasted cream cheese or bacon and eggs. It's always a crowd but line moves fast and it's worth the wait with friendly service . The inside with its brick interior design is just right. There is also a small outdoor seating available when weather permits .

If you're looking for a solid bagel option in Crown Heights, definitely check out Bagel Pub! They definitely excel in their cream cheese here, with the fresh ingredients like scallions, garlic, and mixed berries that they add to their cream cheese. I tried my first scooped bagel since I heard their bagel sandwiches are so good! The lox bagel came with lots of lox, red onions, capers, and scallion cream cheese. The cream cheese does get a bit heavy since it's concentrated to one side, but it's still delicious. The whole wheat everything bagel bread was a bit salty but very chewy. If you're more of a fruity bagel person, the blueberry bagel with mixed fruit cream cheese was such a good option! The blueberry bagel had lots of blueberries in it, and having the cream cheese on the side was the best option for making sure you have the best bagel to cream cheese ratio! The lines can get long on the weekends so you might want to order it ahead or for delivery!

Wanted a quick breakfast and was recommended to this place. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel. It was good, but it was $9 and change! Iced coffee was okay. The place itself is very pretty and they have so many different options of cream cheese! I would definitely treat myself to this place if I'm in the area again even though it's a little on the pricier side!

Wow! They are right - New York bagels are better. We visited twice on our trip, once on a a Friday morning, and again on Sunday. The place was slammed full of people on both occasions. We ordered bagel sandwiches, coffee, and fresh juice. They were amazing - huge bagels with tons of flavor and squishy texture. They had a TON of options for regular and vegan cream cheese, tons of sandwich options, and other foods too. This is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, juice, smoothies, and more.

Came here at 9:00 AM on a Tuesday and there were people seated but no line. There's truly an overwhelming number of spreads here for bagels, both sweet and savory. I got a toasted Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese, and it was ready in about 5 minutes. You have to order the bagel in a separate place from where you pay. There's a few tables nearby that you can sit at to eat. This place does a rather light amount of cream cheese on their bagels, which I appreciate but know that might not be to everyone's preference. The bagel was warm and fluffy with a good tear to it. I liked the cream cheese as well; the scallions are plentiful throughout. A good chain spot that I would be happy to get another bagel at someday.

Bagel pub on a Sunday morning is such a treat! I ordered the egg everything with scallion bacon cream cheese. The bagel was thick with the perfect amount of cream cheese. The sesame bagel with bacon egg and cheese was steaming hot and perfect. They do not skimp on the bacon here!! The ordering is efficient but the place is busy so it takes a while to get your order. The wait is always worth it tho! There's some seating but you may have to wait for a table especially on weekends

Bagels are great, however, you may want to ask for light cream cheese if you want a normal amount. There's almost more cream cheese than bagel.

I've been here several times and loved it! I normally get an avocado, sausage, eggs, and cheese with a hashbrown inside. Although you have to wait approximately ten minutes for your order, the wait is well worth it. The iced coffee with Hazelnut and almond milk is absolutely delicious. I always dine in when coming here.

Busy but worth it! The juices are freshly made! First day I got the Wake Me Up and it did exactly that, I needed something fresh that would give me the nutrients I needed in the morning. I also got an Everything bagel with eggs, cheese and sausage and the combo was delicious! Melted cheese as I always prefer! Second day I got Green Machine and Whole Wheat bagel with egg, sausage, cheese! Again melted beautifully and toasted warm! The place had a cozy ambiance if you want to study or have a quick energy meal or even a casual date!

I'm no native New Yorker-bagel connoisseur. HOWEVER- this was probably the most delicious bagel of my life. Bagel Pub has so many options from cream cheese to toppings... Good luck making your dream bagel, it's hard to choose! I went for the standard lox combo on their pre-fix menu of bagel combos to try. Man oh man, was it HUGE. These bagels were great portions, excellent in flavor, and fresh ingredients. They also had a good range of tea, coffee, and smoothies too. Lovely places to sit outside and take in the morning scenery. Wish I could have made a second stop in my trip!

I love that this spot is super close by to me, it's always yummy, and love the convenient option of online ordering for pickup! ILY 4EVER BP

I'm a fan of this place after being here a few times. They have a solid selection of cream cheeses and bagels. Service is friendly and efficient. I've never had an Everything Pumpernickel Bagel before visiting this place. If you're even the least bit interested in it.... don't think just order it. My most recent order included Everything Pumpernickel Bagels with scallion and veggie cream cheese as well as honey walnut cream cheese. Their strawberry cream cheese is also solid.

This was a cute little place we came to while waiting for the Brooklyn Library to open. It seemed to be very popular as there was a steady stream of people coming in and out. Customer service was decent. They all just seemed in a zone, which is understandable when it's a consistent rush. I was most amazed by the number of different cream cheeses they had. I've never seen anything like it. I decided on a bagel with olive & pimento cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious!!!! My friend got an omelette on a bagel and it was massive!! I also tried the watermelon lemonade. It looked pretty, but i didn't really enjoy it. There is one restroom, which requires a code to use. Between the workers and patrons, the wait was pretty long! Beware if you gotta go! Overall a great place with lots of options!! From hot food, to cold, to bakery, to teas/coffees/lemonades...there's something for everyone here.

My "omelette" sandwich with cream cheese on the side.

Is there space to sit and work during the week?

Definitely space to pop open a laptop at some of the tables in the back. I would say just be mindful of the busy breakfast and lunch hours and you're good!

I chose this place because I had visited a few times in the past and expected a positive environment. While there, I ran into an old friend who was accompanying individuals with special needs. They informed us about the R&B karaoke event, and we attempted to participate respectfully and supportively. Unfortunately, after participating, the DJ became rude and dismissive. My friends decided not to continue because each time they attempted to request a song, the DJ was unkind and impatient, seemingly unaware--or unconcerned--that they were individuals with special needs. The situation escalated when I attempted to calmly address the disrespect. Instead of listening, the bartender repeatedly accused me of being drunk simply because I was defending myself after a rude comment. I was not intoxicated; I was advocating for respectful treatment. Even the DJ's own companion appeared visibly shocked by the comment made toward me, as if anticipating a reaction. I remained composed and professional despite being deeply upset. What disappointed me most was the staff's decision to defend the DJ's behavior rather than acknowledge how inappropriate and disrespectful the interaction was. This reflects poorly on how this establishment treats people--especially those who deserve patience, understanding, and dignity. I came expecting an enjoyable brunch experience and left feeling ashamed for having trusted this place. It is clear that the venue prioritizes protecting mediocre DJs with minimal local popularity over treating customers with basic respect. Poor organization, lack of proper event management, and unprofessional staff behavior made this experience unacceptable. I have visited many establishments and have never felt so disrespected. I will not be returning.

Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.
