Leon's Bagel is known to be "nothing fancy," so the menu isn't overwhelming. Plus, there's only 3 signature bagel sandwiches, which are great options. The shop is a walk-up window but there is some seating on the sidewalk. I ordered one Sausage Egg Cheese ($10) and one Classic Lox ($16) --both on an everything bagel, of course. I really enjoyed both bagels and everything was well balanced. I could always use more cream cheese, but this is good for a normal person. Also liked how melty the cheese and fluffy the eggs were. They serve the classics here, which are tasty and filling.

This was really tasty and we'll be back. The egg sandwich was PHENOMENAL. Not TOO much cream cheese which some places go too crazy. Perfect balance of fresh eggs, cream cheese and the soft and fresh bagel. The lox bagel was solid too and tasted like all ingredients were very fresh. Service was a bit slow bc only 2 people handling a massive line but they wer kind. Lots of space outside to sit and can always hit the nearby park. Although a bit pricey, the quality and flavor is a 5/5.

4.5 stars! This might be my favorite all around bagel shop in Williamsburg. Most bagel shops here either do one or the other (cream cheese v. Bacon egg n cheese). You'll be hard pressed to find a place that does both and does it at a reasonable price. I got an egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, tomato, cucumber, onion and capers. Goated combination btw. Also, can we appreciate that they offer egg everything? Didn't realize I was missing that in my life. I love egg and I love everything so it only makes sense

Bagel texture: great - fluffy Portion size: amazing - huge Taste: 0 because there is no taste. It was a tasteless breakfast bagel ): I couldn't taste the everything bagel seasoning, and the sausage had no flavor other than the sage. The bacon one was at least a bit saltier. The eggs were cheesy which I liked, but also made the sandwich greasy. They give you the option to add hot sauce -- should've done that ): Service was friendly and efficient. They also only operate as a take out window. We took our bagels to the park nearby which was nice. Overall, it's not BAD; it's just not GOOD.

Very cute grab and go spot for bagels. I ordered the BEC on a scooped everything bagel with light cheese. It was yum but definitely a bit heavy (although duh it's a BEC lol). Good price too!

This is a cute pick up bagel spot! You can either go plain to crazy and make it a meal! There's a lot of add on and options to add to your bagel! They say nyc bagels are elite and so I would check it out! The service is great and I enjoyed stopping by. Def a cute photo spot!

    Everything wheat bagel with butter

Been here twice already and they have not disappointed. Food: bagels are fluffy, taste fresh. They load it with cream cheese (NY style...it's like ordering cream cheese with a side of bagel lol). And if you asked for butter, it's nicely and evenly spread...(that's important...every bite has butter). It's nice that they only have bagels and coffee there. Service: there is usually a line but they are pretty fast, from the time you order to when you get the order, it's max 10 min. This is not a sit down spot. I totally recommend it for bagels.

Came here on a Saturday morning, and there were about ten people in line but it moved quickly! The storefront is so cute and I liked how they decorated it for fall. I ordered the classic Lox bagel which came out to $17 with some change. I think I waited 5-10 minutes for the bagel to be prepared, and then I walked a couple blocks north to sit at a bench in the park and eat it since there's not really a place to sit in front of Leon's Bagels. Looooved my bagel! I got a plain which was nicely toasted and paired well with the filling. Good amount of capers and salmon and cream cheese.

Leon's did not have a huge line on this rainy day, so I lucked out! They noticed folks waiting for bagels and put up the patio umbrellas which was very kind. There's an outdoor parklet seating which was nice. I got an everything bagel with lox spread. It was huge and that schmear was THICC. I think it was a sourdough bagel because she had body for sure. It was so fresh and delicious. The lox spread had plenty of lox with the cream cheese. Big fan. A very nice treat yo self bagel moment. I like the green/white checkered logo/design for the branding too.

This is a cute hole in the wall bagel shop. The bagels are honestly pretty huge and very filling! I got the chicken sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and there were tonsss of eggs on it. Keep in mind they toast all sandwiches by default. They don't have their prices listed on the menu at the register, however you can take a look online ahead of time. There really isn't anywhere to sit outside of a few benches across from the shop. However there are a few different parks nearby that you could take your bagels and enjoy! I'm sure it depends on the time of day but from our experience there was never really a line of more than 4 people so it doesn't really take too long to get your food. The employees are cool and they honestly have pretty cute merchandise if you like that kind of stuff!

would u eat this, be honest

    would u eat this, be honest bacon egg and cheese plus ($4!!) avocado :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

As far as the customer service goes I wish it was a bit better. The staff aren't the most pleasant. I do notice they speak more pleasantly to other customers that come in. Not sure if it's a culture thing or could they be discriminatory but it's a bit unsettling. We wanted to try something different after having explored so many of the typical places in Manhattan and Shelsky's came highly recommended While I was expecting a long wait on a Saturday mid-morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find the establishment with only a few in line before us. Now, I was desperately seeking a very simple belly lox with schmear, but much to my dismay, they didn't have any more belly lox. I was heartbroken and had to figure out a plan B While I pondered, the family quickly ordered a Peter Shelsky, a Great Gatsby, and a Fancy Pants. I crumbled in my panic and jumped in with another Peter Shelsky. We also tried a small amount of whitefish salad and a beet/thyme salad The service was quick and we were able to grab two of the three small tables at the front to enjoy our fare. Soon we were digging in and from the immediate silence, I could tell everyone was enjoying their choices. The bagels were on the smaller side, denser with a firm crust. We did enjoy the bagels, but I could see how someone not familiar with this style may find them too "cardboard-y" I have to say, the pickled herring on the Peter Shelsky was fantastic, but was way too overpowering for the nova and sable. I actually regretted my choice and would order something more sunken next time. (Or get to the store earlier to beat the rush for the darn belly lox!) The beet salad was quite a nice balance to for the bagels adding a bit of brightness. The whitefish salad was solid - a hint of smoke and a creamy puree. Some who prefer a chunkier whitefish salad might find this less than satisfactory, but the flavors were great A cure store, friendly and patient staff, a great first exposure to Brooklyn for the boys. We'll be back (and we want belly lox!!)
