Eggs and cheese on a wrap with no coffee no juice. No water. No tea. $14. WTH is going on here

I was in the neighborhood looking for a bagel place to eat and a nice person recommended this spot. So I went there to try them out. It's a pretty spacious bagel spot with ample seating menu's with pricing for all items they sell which is helpful. Food: 3/5 I ordered a jalapeño bagel with turkey bacon, and scrambled eggs. The bagel was okay nothing to rave about your standard bagel. Nothing to make me fave about it. The texture was chewy and a bit doughy if you like your bagels that texture this may be the spot for you. Overall my bagel was about 10-12$ I believe. They charge extra for a rainbow bagel and other specialty bagels like jalapeño. Which is pretty expensive so make sure you're aware of that. Service: 3/5 The customer service was mediocre. The guy at the front wasn't the most pleasant. Very much get you in an out top of place. They weren't rude but not the most cheerful I'd say. Ambiance: 3/5 standers bagel shop nothing really impressive or spectacular. I will say when in the area due to the lack of places to eat that make REAL food. I have come back here and the bagels have been decent. Would like the staff to be more pleasant. read more

I really want to like this place.. sigh. Everytime I order I am left wanting more. Today I went for a French toast bagel and asked for Chocolate chip cream cheese. Guy says we don't do that, I have nutella cream cheese. I say ok nutella cream cheese is fine. I go to pay and find out it's either or -not a flavored cream cheese. Coffee is good and smooth. The two guys on your front line ... one is VERY good (super polite) and the other definitely needs to take pointers from his coworker. Bagels are okay; they're fine. Menu items are a bit high. This place takes advantage of unknowing customers. I was overcharged, asked for a 1 croissant instead of bagel and was charged an xtra 3.70$ and also I have to pay an operating fee. So on top of the outrageous prices the customer has to pay an operating fee. On 4 sandwich's I paid 2.99 tax and 1.45$ operating fee. Hope this ends soon. read more

Another terrible experience ordering a breakfast sandwich today. The guys don't pay attention at all to the customers coming in and in line. I waited almost 15 min for someone to ask for my order. He asked another woman first , who came in long after I came in. He saw I had been standing there for so long and he never asked how can he help me. Fresh, soft with bite, and slight chewy glazed exterior; consistently reliably satisfying bagels! I always want to get one of the classic flavors or one with their egg salad or tuna for lunch, but always end up getting their jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese for breakfast. What a treat to start off with a bit of heat in the morning. And their portions are quite generous! Also notable: super friendly and efficient, the store is brightly lit and clean, and the very early hours. I love bagels and it's been awhile since I had eaten any. I live really close to this bagel store and decided to pop in one day. They had 3-4 people on staff and one person who was eating their order inside the store. They have a few tables that allows people to eat their food or wait until their order is ready. This was my first time at this location and I was unsure of the ordering process. I waited until someone was free and ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel itself was okay but, nothing noteworthy. The bagel tasted fresh but, not just baked today fresh. I didn't like how hastily and lopsided the bagel was creamed. I felt like the store was pretty much empty and the staff was basically just talking to each other that they would put more effort into their work. I thought it was an okay bagel for $3. Also, they do charge extra for using a credit card. When I went to pay for my order the guy said there was an extra charge for using a credit card. I placed an order for pick up through Uber Eats. I had ordered 12 bagels (and got 2 free) and they completely messed up my order. I ordered 2 plain and 12 whole wheat everything bagels. I got 5 plain bagels and 9 random bagels (only one was an everything bagel and not even whole wheat). I felt like if they ran out of bagels, they could have waited until I got there or at least me know when I got there. Again, when I went to pick up my order the entire store was completely empty and the store was fully staffed (at least 4 people behind the counter chatting with each other). The bagels were also the same as before tasty but, not exactly freshly daily baked. They also sell sandwiches, hot food such as wings, smoothies, and brand name beverages. read more

I ordered a Caesar salad wrap and found a metal staple in my food. I could have died. I wish I could give this place zero stars because of that. Do not order anything from this place. I'm actually surprised by the reviews but the again I have frequent here often and at first I was skeptical about this place. But after going sevrral times they have improved. Honestly I went bavk becuase the food was good and there is barely any other options in this neighborhood believe me lol. If the waiting is a pet peeve of yours may I suggest 2 things. I would either call in ahead or ordering through Uber eats (or any ordering platform) and choose pick up option. Now if forgetting condiments or utensil I usually ask more than once for them. I shouldn't have to do that depending on what I order like pancakes. However I wanted to be sure. The food hits the spot if your hungry so give it a try read more

Large bagels! Tofu cream cheese available- tofu veggie and tofu scallion. Bagels are nice and chewy and great portion size. They have a lot of variety of bagel "flavors". It is important to me for a place to have whole wheat bagels and they do. Service is mediocre- they just get the job done. Other than that it is a good option for bagels in this area. read more

Bagels are the best for the area. My old goto closed down about 5 years ago so they got a battlefield promotion. Bagels are freshly made and I recommend their roast beef on a bagel, their tuna is also delicious. But my fav (on occasion because it basically can feed 2 people) is their Mexican Torta! They are a tradition wait on line to order but I recommend to stay near the register and paying before getting off the line or else it can get disorganized. read more

Highway bagels donated a ton of bagels to my school completely for FREE, it was an act of charity that they really didn't have to do, but decided to perform in the benefit of an educational event aimed to inform attendees about the ways to transform common foods into something healthy and nutritious. However, these bagels weren't just something that they spared for us, but actual high quality bread freshly out of the oven that I plan to get again soon on my own time. Best bagels I've had in a while. Ever since Bagel & Bialys closed in the area and I've been on the hunt for another quality bagel store. This is that place. I had a lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel with tomatoes and onions. Bagel was excellent - perfect fluffiness & chewiness. They toast it just right where the bagel is warm and the outside is slightly crunchy without burning the toppings. The smoked salmon was perfectly seasoned. Staff was friendly and efficient as well. You get a small discount if you pay with cash. Store seating area is limited and the lines can get quite long. But the staff behind the counter are quite attentive and will make sure you're taken care of. Cannot recommend enough to any bagel seekers in the area. read more

It was perfect made from having the biggest fresh bagel to 2 whites cooked to perfection. At 11am there was no long and service was just as it is. They even have mini bagels. The big sign in the store say 1 dozen bagels are $18. When I get to the register the cashier charges me almost $20 after I hand them my money. They say that's the new price, yet all the signs say $18. This is illegal. I am OK with the price just not the fact that they post $18 and charge you almost $20. This is simply wrong. This review is not about the price going up, it is about posting 1 price and charging a different price.
