We stopped by after a doc's appt in the area on Sunday. Lucky for us, it was kind of empty since it was 4 in the afternoon. The place looks bright and clean, and the service is great. We ordered takeout so we could have it for dinner later. Note to self: eat the hot food first. My panini was still delicious, but it got kind of soggy after sitting on the table for an hour. Bagel so cold, the bread is not toasted! Service it's terrible!!! When I called them to say that they sent me a cold bagel and that it wasn't toasted, they told me that I needed to contact Uber. I've had bagels from here twice now. Once they were brought in and once I got it directly from them. The bagels are very fresh and have great flavor. This visit I was at the store. The line moved quite fast for a Sunday morning. It was also clean inside. Prices are reasonable. My only complaint was that one of the workers behind the counter was complaining to her coworker "what occurred last night" with some guy she's seeing. I had been going to Bagel Boy on Ave Z in Brooklyn for over 10 years. Bagels are fresh, shop is normally clean. However over the last few years, I've cut back from every couple of weeks to every so often. Their staff has changed over time and the guys that take the orders and make the sandwiches now have become quite rude. Whether its 1 or several customers waiting to be served, the workers just continually walk by and ignore the customers. While waiting in line, you hear the grumbles of the customer's saying this is a consistent behavior of the workers. If other orders were being completed you could understand, but they're not because as the grumbles get louder you finally see the workers walk over to the counter to take orders. What's really annoying is while this happening, the owner/manager (gray hair older man wearing a green shirt) when there, is standing a few feet away either talking on the phone or to someone. Sometimes an annoyed customer either leaves or speaks to him directly for him to get his workers to the counter to take orders. Last couple of times I stopped in, the shop wasn't full as it normally used to be. Maybe the rudeness of the workers have ran the customers away. read more

No less than four or five workers behind the counter, doing various activities. Not sure what. Like I was invisible.
