I just want to say I'm happy to have something in the area. Having said that, inconsistent pricing and inconsistent food. One time something is $4 and another time it's $6. Really, a bagel and drink shouldn't be $4 anyway. Sandwiches end up being $12. Two types of meat shouldn't be extra when you give half the meat for each. Food wise, people know when things aren't fresh. You're not saving the business money with day old bagels if customers don't want to come back. Worst of all, I hate giving the order to the guy at the counter for him to repeat 4 times, usually get wrong and then have to tell the lady at the counter the order again, typically paying for the wrong item. How about people order and pay and you give a slip with the order info to the person making the order. Lastly, could be nicer to customers. The food tastes fresh and the prices are fair. It is near the Neptune Ave subway station on the F train, in fact, it is literally right there! The brothers are about as New York as it gets. It took a while to get my bagel, but I guess it is for the best. They sell other treats; which taste just as good. Like their Hamantashen, which tastes as it should! Is it the best bagel ever? I have rated this place 2 stars today, but I have to change my review now. After an expensive salad and a unhappy mindset, I wanted to test their meat and breakfast item department. So I ordered, the Peter Luger hero, a 2 egg bacon and a bagel to go, on door dash. The order was ready within 15 minutes. I came this morning talking to my sisters, baby father and I was unhappy. But, when I picked up the order, my bag was huge. I wondered , what? I opened it outside and I had my order, but instead of 1 bagel, I got 12 bagels. I am unsure, if this is to "compensate" for the "expensive" salad or because I look the workers in the eye each time I pass by them, looking at the scenery. I wanted to go back and give the bagels back, but, I believe it was done for a reason. So, I will be coming the next 7 days, buying a large coffee, to subsidize the cost of giving me 11 "free" "1.75" bagels. Just the base cost and labor and coffee is pretty much a 25-.75 cent item to make. So, I guess this random act, known or unknown has changed my mind about this place. I can tell you, the brothers, if that's them, the bald, sicilian looking men, are smart people. Afterall, they have large heads for a reason. Oh yes. The Peter Beef Hero was a 6.25/10. My father said it was a strong 6. The bagel with bacon and eggs, a 5/10. Bland all around and for $7-8, I would cry. The bagel, on the other hand for $1.75 on doordash, is worth it. The place is okay but definitely overpriced . The food is of a decent quality but the people that work there don't really follow directions . Not much of an ambience b/c it's a bagel store . There are a few tables there , you can sit outside in the summer . Ordering online is a nightmare , you can't customize your order . Gave this spot 3 tries before writing a review. Decent bagels, will never compare to bagel boy. Last straw was my fresh squeezed Juice with pineapple, mango, and oranges. You're going to make me a smoothie, at least charge me for a frozen fruit smoothie. PS: it's so thick, I can't even drink it. Back to bagel boy we go. Also, please put a sign that dogs are not allowed and when you have a customer come in with a dog due to lack of a sign, please refrain from yelling at them about dogs not being allowed. Good food, horrible customer service. Placed two orders for pick up on the same day. Both times the gentleman at the window made it clear he did not wanna assist, the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, the second time I stood in front of him to see how long it would take him to acknowledge me. In my humble opinion this place is an amazing addition to our neighborhood. I was there once in person and also ordered a delivery through Seamless a few times. Every time I had a good experience. Staff is very polite and courteous. Great selection of bagels and multitude of cream cheese spreads along with many other yummy things. Bagels that I had tasted were really good-fresh, crunchy and scrumptious. On a delivery they followed my instructions exactly and nova lox sandwich was huge and tasted delicious. I rarely have coffee but today I needed it, so got myself a cup and was surprised on how fresh &flavorful it was. The bagels are OK. The owners, and some of the people who work there, are not OK. One of the owners seem to be annoyed when you come in, as though you are bothering him. Neither of them ever seem happy, and never say thank you when you pay. It's like they don't at all care if you buy from them or not. I've only been there a few times, and mostly just bought bagels, as a lot of their food is overpriced. I did buy a BLT 2 times, as that was reasonably priced. The first one I bought was pretty good. The second one was really bad, fatty bacon. I now only go there maybe once every 3- 4 months or so. This is mostly because they are just unpleasant to deal with. read more

Brothers Bagels makes delicious breakfast sandwiches. Tried the bec and sec on garlic bagels and they were worth their price of admission. Fluffy eggs with nicely melted cheese and properly cooked meats living inside of a soft flavorful bagel. The spot itself is very nice. Very clean and friendly with plenty of good workers there to assist you. Back in the day we used to have the sea garden restaurant to go to as the kick ass breakfast spot but now luckily Brothers Bagels has come to town to carry that torch. Can't lie, that I was somewhat disappointed last Tuesday when I picked up a catering order placed the day before for pick up in the morning. The bagels were nicely split as I asked and halfed as well (although I didn't ask for that). I also ordered several spreads to go with. I let them know it was for 12-14 people in my office and I needed plates and utensils. The bagels were hard and dry. They must have been from the nite before. I also noticed that the toppings were somewhat scarce on the everything bagels and the sesame bagels. We received only 8 plates and knives so I had to run out to get additional plastic knives and plates. This is not usual. I've always gotten great bagels and spreads here. Delivery was earlier than expected! The food is fresh, delicious and great quality. I ordered the Vegetable Tuna Sandwich with jalapeños, a Caramel Latte, and a Chocolate Twist. Great, thick layer of tuna for my sandwich. Their latte is fantastic! The chocolate twist was also very fresh. Decent pricing and I love that they're near by. Ordered a hot hero and a pound of macaroni salad via Grub Hub. Delivery guy hung my food on my door knob and no one notified me it had been delivered, nor did he ring my door bell. One hour after ordering Grub Hub shows that my order is "in the works" and arriving soon.
