I really wanted to give this place a shot because the vents outside are always blowing the smell of baked goods all around the property however, after a certain time of the day, there's really nothing to purchase from this gigantic location, except for loafs of bread.I have attempted to purchase a sandwich from here multiple times the first two I was told that the kitchen was closed but not told what time and after checking the website I wasn't able to retrieve any information on a timeframe in which they can actually make sandwiches. The third unsuccessful attempt to purchase a sandwich I was told that the deli counter closes at three. The fourth attempt I was able to order a sandwich from the store, which was an Italian hero on sesame bread. It was not until I got home when I realized that they gave me a chicken sandwich with mozzarella tomatoes, and spinach, an entirely different sandwich from what I ordered on the bread that I had requested. I was able to call the store and pick up the correct sandwich and realize that the bread was no longer sesame like I had originally wanted. Despite the sandwich being half decent all of the disappointment has clouded my experience. Today being the fifth and last time I'll ever enter the store at 2:30pm and I was told on Sundays the kitchen closes at 2, again New information. Although baked in Brooklyn is a prepare for many packaged snack snacks across New York and beyond, the actual store, lacks the level of professionally as it seems like the staff is idle and makes the rules as they go.

I Truly love "Baked In Brooklyn". I've ordered from here numerous times & I am never disappointed. I Absolutely LOVE their Lox Bagels. They come with Smoked Salmon, onions, capers, Cream Cheese & tomato. Everything is always so fresh. I've also tried their avocado toast which was phenomenal. & the Sausage egg and cheese on a ciabatta roll which was great! Their pre-packed salads are also fresh & delicious. Also, every order comes with a bag of baked pita chips. YUM! No but seriously, You cant go wrong with this place! Keep doing your thing ;)

Living walking distance from this establishment is the most underrated joy of my life. As you casually stroll down fifth Avenue, the inviting smell of vanilla and freshly baked bread hugs you from a three block radius. Baked in Brooklyn is definitely a neighborhood institution. I love coming here to get my baked goods which are guaranteed to always be fresh. They have a variety of breads available for purchase - anything from tomato focaccia, ciabatta dinner rolls to sourdough to pastries to go with your coffee. Some mornings I love to walk here to get a bagel and lox, which will cost you just under $10 after tax. A pretty solid deal in Brooklyn if you ask me. The bagel is always fresh with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Quality of salmon used is good, the tomato is fresh. I like to wash it down with freshly squeezed orange juice. the orange juice is a little bit on the pricier side but pure and fresh - you simply cannot beat that. I love the bar seating, looking towards the Gothic entrance of the greenwood cemetery. Sitting here and enjoying your morning bagel is definitely a vibe. They also do very cute theme stuff for different holidays like valentines, Christmas, etc.. They also have a free pastry with purchase of a latte, which is a really solid deal to jumpstart your day. Love this place!

Walk by this place all the time and the bakery smells are so delicious. Got the Breakfast Burrito and an iced coffee. The burrito was pretty good, there's a spicy red sauce that was really good. The iced coffee was good too. Will definitely be back to try their bagels!

The bread is fresh. You can see a glimpse of the inside of the factory as browse around in the small bakery. The workers seem to be friendly. However, they haven't disappointed me when it comes to their baked goods. Though I wish they were fully stocked with bread the other day. There was few leftover.

Despite parking being a virtual nightmare, this is one of the nicest bakeries I've been to in a long time with the old school industrial feel. I've had their chips before and they're amazing. But my friend sent me over to pick up some of their rosemary ciabatta (so soft!) and bagels (nice and chewy) prior you my visit to her new city. I snagged a few doughnut holes (ehhhh, they were tough) for the drive back to Bedstuy, next time I think a croissant would be better. There is a nice check-in special, next time I will go for it.

These guys kick butt but they could use a lesson in brand marketing. The label sticker was on my sandwich which I moved to my cup - see ! Looks way better! I have tried their cupcakes, donuts, and cookies. By far the cookies are the best in my opinion. This morning I thought that I would give their breakfast sandwich a try and it was delicious! It was served on ciabatta bread which is my new favorite bread now! I shall return

Fresh baked goods and coffee. Ordered an iced coffee and danish. Both were good. Staff were friendly.

Super enjoyable bake shop with bakers in an open kitchen baking fresh items. A few stools lets travelers have a seat and enjoy their stay looking out the window to the sidewalk and street. Got two gorgeous over sized Italian, super seeded breads and a whole wheat everything bagel. Nice looking donuts but stuck with the basics. Can always try another day! Friendly helpful people. A good place to sit and have a coffee or tea at the counter by the window.

Today, was a bit damp so I ordered a hot chai with bite size checkerboard cookies to dip. The barista was very pleasant and I found a seat while waiting for my chai. I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista. It is always great to find a new coffee place. I expect to be a loyal local at Velvette Brew. They also host music events and have a collaboration with Cry Baby Ice Cream.
