The line is always long so budget extra time if you happen to be waiting for the bus, since the stop is right outside. However, the men at the counter run the operation efficiently and graciously, so the wait goes *fairly* quickly. I have lived in Marine Park for years but one stop here last week makes it obvious why I haven't been here before. To being with, hardly anyone working was wearing a mask. If I saw that before I walked in I would have gone somewhere else. Thankfully the nice man that was helping me was wearing one but I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I was in this place. I ordered two plain bagels and a container of scallion cream cheese. The bagels looked like they came from two completely different places. We're heavy, and just not good. I have never said a New York bagel was bag, but these were bad. The scallion cream cheese was good but who even knows if they make it. Would not come back. read more

Still awesome, still the best in the area which is saying a ton since they've stiff legit competition. I've so much to say after being here over 40x in the 8y I've lived nearby. They've the complete Brooklyn bagel experience and is where I bring any and all friends who come visit me. It's just such a potent, essential, and fun experience as special for this part of Brooklyn. While quintessential and stereotypical thanks to generations of media, it truly is a wonderful addition to life and community here. The service is very efficient with the main chef there after his early morning work to take the orders and to execute them himself and then the cashier slash owner is doing just payments and drinks thus a very apt splitting of labor to keep the line moving always no matter how the peak loads are. There's space for about 6 people before the door which is heavily used thanks to the business' popularity. Every single conceivable combo of topping, spread, schmear, morning bagel item is seemingly available. Dozens of bagel types are available, pretty much if you can imagine it, it's in inventory at sometime. Availability is as much as they sell before they run out. The quality across all types is very high consistently across years. There're drink refrigerators on the side with the usual and a lot of Kosher approved topping containers also available for sale. A table of dry snacks seemingly sourced from fellow retailers is there, and quite popular for convenience and comfort. An in-house pizza shop is right alongside and although I rarely see orders from it, their huge mountains of boxes getting circulated means they must be busy. They typically hold fewer hours than the main bagel counter, seemingly 12-4p on open days. It has its own phone number and branding. There are some locally who drive to the Bagel King in Coney Island, though they were namely unawares of this far closer excellent business. read more

This bagel store is truly one for the books bagels served out of 10 gallon fish tanks. They don't have anything in the specialty area such as rainbow bagels or anything funky like gluten-free. It is a no-frills bagel shop egg sandwiches. The eggs are cooked in the microwave they do not use a grill. But if you are here for bagels, lox, or cream cheese then you're in the perfect spot. This is a truly Jewish bagel store. They are closed on Saturdays and close early on Fridays. Thank goodness they actually take credit cards. The cherry sticks are pretty good as are the other baked goods that they produce I highly recommend this bagel store strictly for the bagels and lox and cream cheese. read more

Pizza and bagels together - genius ! I usually end up getting both - the bagels are the definition of a true "Brooklyn Bagel" and the pizza, all the different types are just amazing. Best Kosher pizza in NY. Love the Guappa style pizza. Sauce tastes very fresh and cheese is delicious. Pizza chefs are friendly and provide excellent service. Whenever I'm in the area I have to stop by for a slice or pie! Garlic knots are great as well! read more

Delicious bagels !!! Pumpernickel and everything are the only ones I've tried so far , but this is definitely a hidden gem. Don't expect much from looking at the outside of the store though . The workers are very nice and friendly , but this one guy ..he might be the owner? (I think..since he seems to be the only one allowed to manage the register) not so much the last couple times I've been there . Go for the bagels! I haven't tried the pizzas yet ..maybe next time . THE SERVICE HERE IS THE WORST!!!!! The cashier never has correct change and will ask you for change (which only delays the line longer). If you love places with long waits, you will love this place. I am a big fan of their bagels and pizza. The food always tastes delicious and fresh. The only thing to be aware of is that they only have one guy doing bagels and one guy doing pizza, so if you come during a "peak bagel store hour," ex - 9 am on a Sunday, chances are you will have to wait online. read more

The bagels and pizza is awesome! The owner is very nice and welcoming! However, there could be a line and there is only one person taking orders/ making the coffee orders along with another person who makes the bagels. On busy days it might take a while to fill your order, but it is worth the wait. Its also a bit pricey, some bagels can cost over 4$. All together I recommend it. read more
