TLDR; great bagels, great store, kind of sketchy checkout practices (different prices constantly). As classic as a Staten Island bagel shop gets, pushing out some of the best bagels I ever had! It's a small store and gets packed during breakfast and lunch, line usually wraps around the store. With that said, I love the experience! From waiting in line to ordering over the counter, I embrace this Staten Island tradition. Staff behind the counter make the sandwiches fast and promptly. Waiting time is extremely reasonable given the amount of orders being made. I will add that they might come off as rushing you, so you might feel pressure ordering, but this is part of the experience. Now, onto the bagels themselves. Crispy with nice texture and flavor, truly. They are constantly made fresh in the morning and you can undoubtedly tell. I always get an egg&cheese with a hash brown or a scallion cream cheese bagel and they deliver every time! They have awesome grab-and-go items like fruit and wraps that appear to be regularly stocked. All in all, it's a classic bagel shop with a comfortable feeling. I classify this as the pinnacle of Staten Island's breakfast options. Now to the downside. For some reason the constantly alter the prices of items. I have been many times and always tend to pay a slightly different amount every time for the same order. This is unfortunate because it truly brings down their creditability and I can absolutely understand how this is a massive deterrent for many people. In addition, when paying with credit you will also incur a constantly changing up charge, usually 10-15%. Again, not the best practice. read more

Very good bagel store with a decent sized parking lot. The bagels here are very good, I usually get an everything bagel with eggs and turkey bacon, very delicious. They also have a huge selection of drinks, snacks, chips, and a whole section with cut fruit in cups which always looks fresh and delicious. They have many options of cream cheese flavors, bagels, and also muffins. I like it here because you can grab a bunch of snacks along with a sandwhich or bagel, it's a one stop shop for a beach trip or long car ride. read more

Been craving a good bagel with veggie cream cheese and this is one of the spot that literally has every cream cheese u can imagine! Theyre well stocked from drinks to snacks, basic household necessities, bagels, sandwiches, even empanadas and some prepped food ! Service is moderate, i feel like the person who makes the food need to have more of a communication with the cashier or even write what the order is and stick it on the sandwiches before passing it to the counter. Cashier didnt have any idea of line formation and didnt care to ask "whos next?" Before letting someone else skip us. And then asking us what did we order. Been to many stores like these in other areas and the cook usually coordinates with the person at the register to ensure they know whos next and who ordered what. I need to say that the food is always fresh. The manager is always friendly. The staff is always willing to help in anyway possible they deliver to me without EXCEPTION always service with a smile. It's too bad actually I'm happy I live near them when I have a fresh Salmon Smoked Nova and whitefish salad, with their wonderful fresh bagels, I can always count on a culinary treat. I randomly ended up at this place because I was getting my car inspected down the street. I don't usually go to Staten Island, but I was surprised by this place. It had the best bagel reviews around. I got bacon and egg on an everything bagel. The bagel itself was massive, which I expect nothing else from New York, and very good! The seasoning was great, but I wish it had been seasoned on both sides. They gave a ton of bacon, half of it very fatty, so if you're into fatty bacon then you'll really enjoy this place. Service was super quick and everyone was nice there. They had a big menu and it was also a convenience store kind of thing. There was one table outside to eat at. The price of two bagel sandwiches + 10 bagels to go was only $19 which I personally think is a steal! Definitely come here if you're in the area! read more

Honestly I been telling my self to hold back from ever saying anything because I literally live walking distance away from this place, but after today I was PISSED. If I'm being brutally honestly out of every single time I have ever been to this place the only time the food is good is when my boyfriend goes and gets the food. And idk what that's really about. But anyways let me explain my 2 experience that gave me the biggest ick about this place. (And let me mention I worked in the food industry before so I am not trying to complain to be petty) Today I got a ham, Turkey, cheese, Mayo sandwich on a roll. The roll came burnt. And I personally hate when the roll is burnt because you can taste the burnt on it . So I asked if they are able to idk maybe give me another roll, toast another one? I know it's probably annoying to be told that but if I'm getting charged $10 for a roll that's burnt and I know I'm not gonna enjoy I'm gonna either ask for a refund or ask if they can possibly toast another roll and transfer the meat to the other roll. When I tell you they literally took the roll waited 3 minutes and gave me back the same roll I am not lying LOL. At the end of the day it's not that deep but it's just the point of how lazy some people can be. Another time I got a bagel with butter and Muenster cheese TOASTED. I got the bagel back with the bagel toasted but a cold thick slice of cheese slapped on that mf... I went back and they told me I must say to MELT the cheese.. All in all. I'm complaining because i have gotten disappointed by this location multiple times and for them to price $10 for a sandwich I want that sandwich looking a 10/10. And to mention I LOVE bagels are us by page ave. They never disappoint. So I definitely am not speaking on the entire company just this location. read more

They don't help there customers at all and you put something back and you walk outside and they think you steal something I did was try to buy two drinks and it took me 20 minutes for them to even see us because we put the drinks back then we walked outside and they knocked on the window thinking we were stealing. Their bagels are great. I travel from across the island to get my bacon egg and cheese from there because it's always the best I like my bacon egg and cheese is very cheesy and that's what they do. I also used to get wraps from here all the time when they close by, I like to go to the specific location because they have the fresh fruit ready to go. I wish some of the food was a little bit fresher as the food in the casing isn't. I've gotten chicken wraps from there before and sometimes they have a little bit of a bite, so if you're going to this establishment I would stick to and that is from the grill. I wish they would back the syrup again. That was always really great to put in your coffee. Besides, that is definitely a centerpoint for the community. This bagel store has been around my entire life. The bagels were always nothing special but certainly not bad. They have recently upped their game by jumping on the cereal bagel and other kitche combos such as Doritos cream cheese and Cheeto bagels. These bagels are fun and sure they aren't really my thing, I definitely won't be giving up my egg everything or salt bagels for these everyday but it's a fun gimmick. I'd happily bring my godchildren here and they would get a kick out of eating stuff like a fruity people bagel etc. Today I randomly chose the cheeto bagel with cheeto cream cheese. I love my cheetos and this seemed like a combo of flaming hot and regular. It kinda reminded me of pimento cheese. The other one was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch raisin bagel with cookie crunch cereal cream cheese. This was tastier then I expected but too sweet for breakfast. Would be good as dessert for sure. The cream cheese would be just as good as an icing on cake if it was a little less dense. read more

My go to bagel store on Staten Island! They have so many different cream cheese spreads to choose from (fruity pebbles, nutella, cannoli, funfetti, strawberry, etc...)
