My boyfriend and his family have been eating here for over 4 years, when it's busy sometimes they are rushing you the customer. I eat lightly in the AM so all I asked was for a butter roll toasted. Bagel land gives him a roll with butter NOT toasted. My boyfriend gives back the roll w/ butter and asks again. Now this is what they served me BURNT TOAST. If you're that busy noway you let toast burn unless this is how they eat their bread. Now when you're being rude to the customer and give them a sh*t meal , why would I want to come back. I grew up around the corner and went to elementary school across the street... I remember when this place opened... I remember when we stopped going to our old favorite bagel place because these were so good... Since, I've had thousands of bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches is here over the years... In the morning, after late nights out, and all different times of day and night and every day of the week... Hands-down my favorite sesame bagel of all time. And super nice people. But over the years it has changed and they have started to use cheaper ingredients add less bacon/meat to the sandwiches and they're starting to pinch pennies and that's too bad. read more

Asked for a western omelette platter which comes with home fries and toast. So I asked with out home fries and white toast. And add avocado. Ok so they forgot about the white toast that's supposed to come with the platter and put these nasty pieces of avocado on my eggs. Was in a rush told them I'm not waiting on toast. I get on the highway take the platter out the bag and right there you can see how nasty that looks. Small little spot that doesn't really look like a bagel spot. The name is misleading, it's more of a bodega than an official bagel shop. They have a very small selection. The dude who took my order couldn't speak English very well so they messed my order up. It's cool if they don't speak English, I'm not mad at it - but don't put them to take the orders! Then they went back to fix it and messed it up again lol (I asked for an everything bagel and got some weird poppy/sesame seed hybrid). Placed an order for pick up. When I arrived like 20 mins later, they did not have the order ready. They stated we did not call. I left the store upset, a short time later they called me saying, "we have ur order ready." Went back to store to pick up the order and the entire order was incorrect. How hard is it to get 2 bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel? Thy gave me eggs with toast. Left the order on the counter and left the store. The bagels and coffee are good. The staff doesn't seem to be on the same page regarding prices because I always pay different amounts. Sometimes they're rude and sometimes they're not, so sometimes they get a tip and sometimes they don't. But overall I can agree with everyone else, the bagels are always fresh! read more

Best bagels hands down!!!! I've tried a couple of Brooklyn joints which I thought was good but the ones here are the BEST! Pales in comparison to what is at "Murray's Bagels" in the city. Most Sundays when we get them at around 10:30 - they are FRESH out of the oven, still steaming hot!!! I buy one or two to take home for another day and they are still soft after sitting for a day or two!!! Delicious! This is usually my go to place for breakfast sandwiches close to home. I like to order a bacon and egg on a roll. The food is freshly made and quick service even though it's always pretty busy. The customers are sketchy which is my only negative about the place. Last time I was in there a woman was arguing with the cashier about her tab she ran up there, claiming she already paid. One of the few places I get breakfast or lunch from. The egg, potatoes and sausage are delicious, (If I'm not mistaken, peppers/garlic/onions were mixed in the potatoes). Probably the only deli can get a good hero from (ham/cheese/lettuce/tomatoes/etc.), although they're a little slow with the food sometimes (not even during their busy hours). I've asked for delivery here before, and forget it. I'm only a short walk from them, and it's better to go there than wait on delivery. Weekend mornings are crazy in there, so expect to wait a while for breakfast. Decent place though. read more
