This place was the worst of the worst. The menu on grub hub is wrong. They don't offer all the bagel selections they show. I ordered an everything pumpernickel. They called said they don't have that I said ok send everything. They sent a pumpernickel. When the everything bagel did come it had cream cheese on only one side of the bagel. It didn't taste fresh either. Horrible. Then I ordered a salad and instead of tomatoes they put grapes and included no dressing. They sent a replacement that was wet soggy and missing cucumbers. Anyone ever have a bad experience with calling in a delivery with smileys bagels on victory blvd?? I did quite a few times. Every time I call I feel like I always have to repeat myself when giving in even the simplest order. Or even have to repeat myself when having to spell out my street address. Or they repeat themselves with "I can't hear you". I give in my order and it seems the girls answering the phone is always behind when I give my order and it makes me so impatient that I get discouraged and just hang up on them. He walked away before I could sign the receipt, and when I offered to add a tip, he told me simply "don't worry about it." The bagels, when available, are great. The service is horrible and the management is pretty much the worst I've ever seen. Apparently the owners/management are not "morning people." 7:05 on a Sunday and gates are down with the line cooks (interesting characters also btw) smoking lung darts outside waiting. I come here before work almost everyday for the past year because it's the only deli in the immediate neighborhood that makes a variety of food. The food is ok enough (at times even good) . But good luck if anyone but either the young puerto rican girl, or young Indian looking woman is there. It seems like they're the only ones that can handle the obvious mismanagement. Everyone else is extremely rude and incompetent. My day there today was one of the worst experiences I've ever recieved as a customer. The workers seem to all fight amongst themselves, and it seems to be a toxic environment. I can't tell you how many times I've seen cop cars parked in front of this place either. I also can't tell you how many times the cooks throw racist, sexist, or homophobic comments. It seems that most customers share my concerns. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because of the young bubbly puerto rican girl who seems to go above and beyond with making everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
