Everything seemed to come from a can or a Gordon's Food Service box that didn't have any taste. The waitstaff was attentive and we had no complaints with them, other than the fact that they charged a large group tax (we are a family of 6 and this has never happened to us before). We were very pleased with our experience our hostess and waitress were both very friendly and we were seated promptly. Atmosphere: we ate outside as inside was a little too crowded the outside seating was nothing special, picnic tables in a parking lot but we were fine with that in this pandemic. The inside looked quaint and bathroom was clean, so while I wouldn't come for ambiance alone, it wasn't a turn off either. Service and staff: as mentioned previously the wait staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They told us right away what dishes were sold out and they were prompt with everything. They made good recommendations and I got a sense that they took great pride in their restaurant Food: food was excellent and at a reasonable price! Cute little place tucked away in a corner. Food was good for the price point. Staff was very nice but.... mercy we weren't warned it was going to take an hour (literally) to get 2 entrees. Awesome! Our first night in town, it was close by. What the heck. Nice beer selection, including some local stuff. Pub type menu, friendly atmosphere. I met some of the locals (always a good sign) made some new friends. My wife and I had the Cuban sandwich. The cole slaw I got as my side was very good, freshly made. Corner strip mall eatery. Easy to drive by if you're not looking carefully. We have been for both lunch and dinner. Tonight was dinner on $3 taco night. The tacos are good, but big on lettuce ($3 taco night). Only wine and beer (3 taps). chips and salsa were good. Wait staff was timely, courteous and accurate. It's a favorite by locals. Local artists sell their works on the wall. It's one of the more affordable places on the island, particularly if you take advantage of specials. read more

Be very aware and check your bill twice . We were a party of 4 adults and one well behaved 3 year old . We were charged a "LARGE" party tip . 20 % in fact . We usually leave more anyhow so I'm not sure if this is their policy or not , but they lost customers . We also are 4 local business owners who at least would like the courtesy when we emailed them twice to receive an answer . Bad business practices the whole way around. read more

I have no idea why this place has so many good reviews. First of all the food was awful. Party of five, we split a burger, Cuban and a drunken burrito, $76. Burger was soggy with zero flavor, Cuban was okay, sweet potato fries had no flavor and the burrito had so many odd little bites. We were over charged for chips and salsa that was an option as a side for the burger, we were charged fifty cents for "extra pickles" and a dollar for a half filled plastic cup of ranch. The server was very snide and proud to have charged us the large party gratuity even though we split items since half of our party were kids. Avoid this place. read more

Loved this place! Quaint little spot with great food, friendly staff, and good prices! We sat at the bar and ordered draft beers. They only have a handful on tap, but a couple of them were local places so that was nice. I was torn between the Farmhouse Chicken salad and the Santa Fe Chicken salad, which are actually quite similar. The waitress suggested Farmhouse, because bacon. It was so good!! This salad was HUGE and only $10! They make their own southwestern ranch dressing and I loved it! A little went a long way but packed a nice punch and complemented the salad well. Best-Kept Secret on the Beach We've been several times. Don't let the casual beach bar vibe fool you. It's a bonified eatery. So far we've had great tacos (shrimp is a favorite) and a spectacular Cuban sandwich. Love their chips and salsa, good beer and wine selection. Oh, and really nice people. We have been frequenting this establishment since it opened & I feel like it has drastically gone down hill. The staff is fabulous but the food has taken a turn for the worse. It's not complicated fare which is why we are perplexed. The salads have dirt on lettuce, the coleslaw is swimming & the chicken tastes old. We had a party of six adults and one toddler. Not only did we have to wait twenty mins or more to have our food order taken but it took thirty more mins to actually get the food. There was only two things that we ordered that was really edible and then the charged us each (because we had three parties paying) an extra $7 for a "large party fee". I do not recall anything on the menu stating this and how do you consider a toddler into the size of a "party". I mean, they had Gluten Free menu options and everything was prepared very quickly and ready for pickup. The salsa is absolutely amazing and the pork tacos are perfectly prepared. I decided to come here with my long time friend for lunch. We started off with an appetizer of chips & salsa. At first I was mildly concerned being the salsa was more of a brown then red. But the second I bit in to that chip all my worries disappeared. The salsa is honestly better then any of the salsa that I've had at local Mexican places. My only complaint would be that for a $5 appetizer I expected some more chips then what we got. For the main course I got the barbecue chicken quesadilla, just like the chips and salsa I was astonished by the flavor. Don't skip desert either, the mud pie was absolutely delectable and that is coming from someone who doesn't usually like chocolate.
