Came here for brunch one morning and I had the Korean ribs with rice, egg, and kimchi. This might be my favorite thing on their menu! So much flavor and the meal was incredibly filling. My fiance enjoyed one of the omelets and a Bloody Mary. We finished everything and were so full! You could arguably share an item due to size. They were very busy, but service was consistent and we were in and out in a decent amount of time.

the vibes in the cafe were so cute! so many trinkets and murals and amazing things to look at while ur dining. Everyone seems to know everyone which also adds a bit to the good vibes this place has. We went on a Thursday around 11am and it wasn't super packed and there was no wait. The servers really checked up and were attentive to all of our needs from start to finish. Was very quick and efficient cause this was a stop on the way to six flags for a day. I am a big fan of pancakes and my partner loves waffles so we caved in on our favorites. They were so delicious, fluffy and buttery. The table comes with maple syrup, jellies, and sugar/ salt/ pepper and ketchup and hot sauces. We chose scrambled eggs and extra crispy bacon which gave me homestyle cooking. Overall not many complaints, it was a solid place to eat and would come back

Tried this breakfast spot for the first time and loved it! So many options to choose from. I went with the Kalbi short ribs and got the garlic rice. Would definitely order this again. Great portions and great service. Would recommend coming here if you're in the area.

Sooo filling and delicious! The employees were very kind and super patient with our group; especially with some super specific requests. There were a bunch of cute Peanuts decor on the walls which make the ambiance of the restaurant feel very warm and inviting. The sunrise omelette was a very good choice if you're looking to hit your protein goal (it's made with egg-whites). They served generous amounts of potatoes and a piece of toast on the side in which you can choose the kind of bread. Quick and yummy!

The ambience was cute. There were lots of tables pretty close together but it wasn't an issue for us. It was a little "cafeteria" feeling. It was nice to see how busy they were. The food was good. It took a while but I think it was because they were short staffed. Staff were very polite and came by when they could but it was pretty busy.

First time here. No wait on a Sunday morning. The server was friendly. The vibe when I went seemed warm and inviting. The place was decorated for Easter. It went really well with their yellow wall. I like how the wall has charlie brown characters. The place appeared very well kept/clean. The food came out quickly. My daughter is a picky eater but she liked their oatmeal which means I will be back. I ordered spam and eggs which is always kind of comforting. It tasted as expected which is good. I'm surprised I haven't tried this place sooner. I would go back.

First time at this location. It's located in the Glen Cove Plaza. We've eaten at the Suisun location a few times throughout the yrs so it's nice that they opened up one in Vallejo since it's closer. The ambience is definitely a total opposite from the Suisun location which has a waterfront location, outside and inside seating but limited seating inside. This location has no outside seating but it is much bigger inside and the decor is super cute and cozy. I love the Snoopy and Peanuts mural and snoopy screensaver on the TV. The service was fine. Not the best or worse. Our order was taken quickly and got our food quickly. As far as the food. It was okay. There was too much fat on my steak but I liked the fried rice and eggs. Might come back when we are in the area and we'll definitely try something else.

The Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict with fried rice was delicious. The Chicken Fried Steak is always a hit. The Chicken and Waffles strikes the perfect sweet-savory balance. The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing. Pro tip: because the food is spectacular, they get incredibly busy during peak hours. Be patient, their kitchen is well oiled, and your food will come out timely, fresh, and hot. The staff here is friendly, thorough, and highly professional, making sure you are well taken care of from start to finish. Go show the team at Babs Delta Diner some well-deserved love.

I've been here a couple times when it was purely Von's and also been to Babs in Suisun. I think your experience will greatly depend on what you order. I got the Korean fried chicken. I really enjoyed the flavor! It was about $20 for a half order. But I could only finished 7/10 pieces. Next time I may go for the drumsticks instead. I felt the pieces of thigh were a little dry maybe because of the size. I went with a large group and they were very accommodating! Ken was fantastic! They take reservations. He split the orders up so the kitchen wouldn't be overwhelmed. He took care of our drinks. Our food all came out relatively close together and this was almost noon lunch rush. The people that were happy with their food got the Korean fried chicken or breakfast items. Someone said the pancake was very good. The people that weren't as impressed with the food got burgers (no option to customize the patty doneness) or sandwiches. I think if you stick with what they're better known for you'll have a good experience.

The second location for Bab's Delta Diner is located in the Glen Cove Plaza in Vallejo, along with a Von's Chicken. This review is for the Diner. And yes. Solid work! To clarify, I have not been to the first location either, so this is as unbiased as you can get. Breakfast is often known as the go-to meal, the one that doesn't change. We all know what an overeasy egg should taste like, right? Babs delivers there; the corned beef hash with crispy potatoes and over medium egg tastes just as it should. No frill necessary, until you see the option to have fried rice. Fantastic fried rice for breakfast, tastes just like takeout. We also had the Mickey pancake for our son, super fluffy and not. TOO. SWEET. Playful enough to get a kid to finish his meal! Speaking of playful, the murals on the walls are adorable! I grew up with Peanuts characters as well, clipping newspaper comics and saving them for later. Wide open seating area, very different from the last restaurant that occupied this space (RIP Js garden) Service was quick, server was super friendly, no notes! This is a solid addition to anyone's breakfast rotation. If you're keen on the breakfast staples, come on thru. What I will try next are the other indulgent options, like the short rib loco moco and the stuffed French toast!

Delicious once again. Food is always so on point. Chilaquiles had a good kick to it too. The loco moco with the fried rice is sooooo good puts me in a food coma EVERYTIME because I have to eat all of it! Waitress made a fresh pot of coffee for me which really made me feel good, and she was super patient with me and my friend asking her to come back twice because we were so indecisive. Thank you! ended up ordering onions rings also, because I needed both breakfast AND lunch (big back!) They were crispy and the onion didn't drag all across my face when I bit into it. Bit clean off! Ranch was homemade and good too It's always clean and bright and the food is consistently hella bomb Can't wait to come back. Gotta try that dang eggs Benedict

This is my first time visit and I didn't expect a busy weekday lunch with so many customers. We were seated right away, the server I don't know her name, was pleasant, courteous and made sure met our needs despite the busyness. This diner is located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. The area inside looked packed to me probably because that same time there's like a big group company lunch that was seated near us. I agree seats are close next to each other. Amazing menu options of American and Korean food. At 7am-3pm= American breakfast and lunch 11am-2:30pm= Korean dishes 4:30pm-8:30pm= Voms chicken, Korean chicken The place has a cute decor and wall art, clean place even the table condiments are nice neat and clean. Waited 15-20mins before food arrived. The korean bbq short ribs was so delicious! Pricey compared to other short ribs meal (others has white rice & mac) but it is so delectably good with their eggs and fried rice! There's kimchi and toast on the side as well, so hungry that it is worth the price. I also had the Chicken n Waffle, the chickens are huge and tastes like my mom's home cooked fried chicken. The waffles are thick and big and crispy. The left overs were out to-go for later. Overall this is a very good place to eat, reasonably priced, not the cheap or affordable choice for me but the experience and the good food and customer service hope stays the same.

This is the linguica breakfast plate half rice and half potatoes. When I tell you they have the BEST linguica they have the best linguica and also having fried rice for breakfast which is fire! I've always gone to their suisun location and now they made one right here in glen cove in my neighborhood. It taste bomb per usual! read more

I've been going to Babs in Suisun for over 20 years and it never disappoints. My friend invited me to try the Babs in Vallejo. This Monday 6 April 26. The food was just ok. The portions was much smaller than the diner in Suisun. The reason I'm giving them a one star is our server stole from my friend. Our bill was $47.52 my friend put it on her card. I left an $8.00 cash tip. My friend looked at her bank transaction and was charged $56.21. A tip was added to the bill. When she called management excuse the. Server was was new. That's no excuse. The server name on the bill is Bibi. Beware!!! Check your receipts to make sure it matches your bank statement. This is unacceptable! read more

This used to be my go to place for Korean fried chicken. We would drive over the bridge from the east bay just for the fried chicken. But it's not the same anymore since adding breakfast and brunch by Babs. First they stopped serving korean fried chicken for lunch. Then they took away the pickled radish for dinner. The conversion to Babs is one step forward, two steps back for Korean fried chicken lovers. Sigh. Place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Staff is attentive and friendly but I miss the old Vons / Meok Bang combo. read more

Tried Babs in Vallejo today! Super cute inside ,bright colors, kind of a semi-Snoopy vibe that makes you feel like you walked into a cheerful cartoon café. The music though... wow. A little enthusiastic. At times it felt less like breakfast and more like a polite hint that our table's time was up. Maybe swap in some smooth jazz so we can sip our coffee like classy adults instead of speed-eating pancakes. too over powering! Food options are great for breakfast, but the prices are a little high for the quality and location. My scramble had a surprising hint of... fried rice/chow mein aroma? Not exactly the breakfast fusion I was expecting. The potatoes were a bit mushy in spots and could use more seasoning. Separate the foods when cooking I don't want my eggs smelling like fried rice, it was not appetizing! Coffee was also on the shy side, weak and not very hot. It needed a little pep talk. That said, the place is adorable and the menu has plenty of options, so we'll give it another shot. Just hoping next time the food smells like the food we ordered... and not like it just came back from a quick trip through the wok. read more

We have been there 3 times aleady for breakfast! Their food is tasty, ample and the decor is just delightful. The young man who has served us has been polite and most efficient. Their fried potatoes with carmelized onions are to die for and is one of the reasons we don't go elsewhere for breakfast! Tucked away in a strip mall with Safeway. Super nice and clean inside. Service was crisp, friendly and attentive. My buddy had corned beef hash Benedict's and loved them. I went simple with a pancake, a scrambled egg and a sausage. Egg and sausage were perfectly cooked and tasty. Pancake was good, not great. Water glasses always full. Service only... pretty much non existent that day (11/7). Never greeted, never seated and there was maybe 6 open tables. Had to walk to the counter saw how many people were still waiting and changed me mind and we left. Wasn't feeling good about it. Understaffed isn't an excuse. They have a great wait staff here. Very attentive and responsive. Everyone seems to work as a team. Prompt coffee refills. All condiments are on the table. A good family atmosphere. I have only tried the American style breakfasts and they are very good. Their waffle recipe is sweet and fluffy. Their eggs are cooked just as I ask, and their bacon is delicious. At some point I will try their lunch too. A popular spot in Glen Cove. We really needed a restaurant like this. read more

Today I went there for breakfast and wasn't to satisfied with the meal . I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs and egg whites were under cooked had water leaking out and potatoes were not tasty ! Taste like old grease . I'd try something else next time giving it another shot but definitely not ordering the potatoes . Wasn't worth 19.00 at all . That is by the water prices read more

Disappointing shift in quality--new cook? I usually LOVE this place and order the Bacon, Spinach, and Avocado Eggs Benedict with fresh OJ almost weekly, but today was completely off. I know Grubhub delivery can affect the poached eggs, but the rest of the meal was the real issue. They gave me about half the normal portion size of potatoes, served them ice cold with no flavor (even though the Benedict was warm), and ignored my request for grilled and green onions. Benedict was ok but something felt off. They also randomly included two tiny pieces of completely burnt sourdough toast. To top it off, the OJ was incredibly sour and acidic today (I added water and a little sugar and it helped some). I hope this was just an off day, but it was a very frustrating experience for a regular customer who truly loves their food. read more

My doctor confirmed that consuming the old calamari caused my illness. This was a frightening medical emergency. I am extremely disappointed that the calamari was reportedly still being served after several customers complained and that management never checked on us. I love the representation of black power and community (the shop small table) to help small businesses. I ordered the Friday fish plate. The fish was seasoned well (not over seasoned), flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cornbread muffins were okay (a little dry on the inside but nothing a little butter can't fix), the green beans were really good and the macaroni salad was okay. Would I go back? Of course I must try the Obama cheeseburger.

Now for the reason I'm even writing this. We walked in this morning with my children getting cranky because they were sitting around with me waiting for our tires to get changed before we came here. Anyways, I let my two youngest children choose theirs then my two older ones were taking a moment (actually moment as in you can measure the time with less than a handful of seconds) some lady leans over the counter to the worker and asks for a donut, the worker obliged (no problem) then the worker put the tongs down to go ring the lady who cut in the middle of us ordering. Maybe I'm getting old and this is the new way of doing business but I'll be dammed if I go out my way to spend the money I make while having to be apart from my family only to have another person take over the service I was receiving! I will never return here and give them the opportunity to disrespect me or my family again! Funny enough as I'm walking out some random guy hears me cussing out loud and yells over to me "that f$&king lady huh!?" lol how does everyone but me know they have horrible customer service here!? My fault for not knowing I drove off and realized my two youngest still had their individually bagged donuts (2 total donuts) so I made a u turn and drove back to toss the bags back into their counter so they don't think I was leaving for a free donut. I left because they have NO respect for families who choose to support their local crap business. I absolutely would never recommend any family coming here, be warned on how they treat people. 0/5 stars

Being a pescatarian, I am sadly not able to eat at most soul food places unless they have seafood options, which many don't. Urban Fusions even has vegan collard greens on their menu! My son got the fried okra and the southern 3-way plate with the fried chicken, fish, jumbo shrimp and fries, with Mac n cheese for the side.
