I went with their Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich that came with criss-cut fries. The sandwich was amazing as it featured two crispy, juicy chicken strips, lettuce, pickles, and special sauce. Such great flavor; and the crispness of the chicken was excellent. The fries were pretty nice and well seasoned. I'm not in Vallejo often, but would definitely consider them again next time I'm here. She wasn't checking on customers or keeping an eye on their drinks, and the bar was covered with empty glasses. Customers were waving and calling her name trying to get her attention, and several people eventually got up and left without being served. At one point, while customers were still waiting with empty glasses, she stopped to make herself a protein or creatine drink. From a customer's perspective, it was frustrating to watch when people were struggling just to get service. There were also food order number stands left sitting along the bar, making it appear that people were still waiting for food, and adding to the confusion. It was disappointing to see such a difference in service at a place I've genuinely enjoyed visiting. The food and atmosphere are great, and Molly and Angie have set a high standard for customer service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, if I walk in and see Chelsea behind the bar again, I'll likely turn around and go somewhere else. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this establishment has a lot going for it, and the service should reflect the quality of the food and the experience it can provide.
