YOU GUYS ARE GENIUS! Everyone in my office eats crap fast food! I search up & down Rt 5 when I do not get to make my own salad & wind up with Wendy's, pre-made tasteless salads....not anymore! Today was my first time and it was fast, fresh & yummy! Wallingford needed someone that serves quick health food! All the best to you, I hope you are around for a long time, I can stick top my healthy eating this way. The salads are huge! Definitely fit for two or for leftovers. Awesome wraps as well. I wish you could have the wraps heated up as an option though! I love that you can build your own, including hard boiled eggs and avocados. I haven't ventured outside of the chicken salads/wraps, but the chicken is super dry, so make sure you add a dressing! read more

By far the best lunch spot around for excellent salads, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. The create your own salads are beautifully made for your liking with endless options to choose from. Very nice staff as well. Really inconvenient hours though so make sure they're open before you go! read more

Went in for lunch twice this week and was impressed. Both times got the roast beef and soup. Bread is fresh and meat and toppings are great. First time had the chilli which was great and still piping hot when i got to office. The second time i got some Aztek chicken which had a nice kick. The whole set up is neat although its only a matter of time before they have to expand. The only negative is its a little on the pricey side. A sandwich and small soup with no drink is on the other side of $11. I dont really mind paying for quaility though and this place is quality. read more

I'm in love with this place there is so many options to choose from. They have a wide variety of toppings and so many delicious dressings. I went in a few days ago and had the quiche, it was amazing, it even came with a small salad! Everything is extremely fresh if you get the chance you should really stop in and try it. Customer service is as good as the food. Definitely strongly recommend everyone try it even if salads aren't for you they have a wide selection of soups and sandwiches too. read more

To be perfectly honest, I used to hate salad, and in many cases, I still do. When I think of salad, I think of bland, gross Iceberg lettuce (one of the banes of my existence except maybe on a burger), some veggies thrown in more for nutritional value than taste, and some cheese/dressing globbed on to cancel out the weeping of my taste buds. The Stop and Shop salad bars did a heroic job of making salads a bit more palatable, but alas, those are growing more and more scarce. B Muse, like the miracle workers they are, changed all this for me. My mom introduced me to the ambrosial vegetation concoctions they craft at B Muse about a year or two ago, and I can't help but salivate like Pavlov's dog just thinking about them. I love how one can just walk in and check off their salad makings on a sheet, kind of like at all-you-can-eat sushi buffets, so that no one has to settle for anything less than what they love. The veggies are always fresh and crisp (even toward closing time) and the staff is always friendly, thorough, making sure that every salad is wonderful. Mind you, these salads aren't skimpy either and are good for at least 2 meals (or one really huge one, for those with voracious appetites). They also have drinks and other healthy sides available like soups, parfaits, etc.The only downside that comes to mind is that they do tend to close a bit early at least on weekdays, but it's definitely worth the trip and every cent! read more

Food is good and fresh especially the salads but had 2 bad experiences with the employees, same person he was rude and not helpful, and made my order incorrectly intentionally. I complained to the manager the day after the 2nd occurrence and she was polite but basically dismissed it. read more

I'm obsessed with B Muse. The "make your own" salads option is amazing and such a great value for what you actually get. The salads are huge, fresh, and absolutely delicious. However an important thing to note is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the staff. This and Rosa's Deli are my go-to lunch places in Wallingford. I started coming here because of the good reviews, and boy were those reviews right! Their salads are excellent, for $10 (or $7 if you don't want protein) you get a ton of food, and I love that only the meat and tofu is extra. Nowhere else have I been able to order avocado and bacon and not had to pay for it! The value is extremely high for what you pay. In addition, the service is fast (never had to wait more than 5 minutes from when I ordered, even when they're busy) and the staff is very friendly. The place itself is very clean and it's great that you're able to see all of the ingredients right in front of you- there's never any question of what you're getting. I've never tried the sandwiches because I just love their salads so much, but sometimes I get soup and that's delicious too! The poblano corn chowder in particular is some of the best I've ever had. I go to this cafe at least once a week. Although it's a little pricey, all of the ingredients are fresh, tasty, and they don't skimp out. Salad sizes are HUGE and are the best value. its really unfortunate that such a great place with great food has terribly rude owners making poor decisions to keep customers happy. Each time I visit this place I spend a lot of money for lunch time business meetings....everyone orders their unique food preferences and should be happy. That is never guaranteed at B Muse!!! One way or another, there IS ALWAYS a mistake or problem with someone's individual salad, sandwich or combo. I have had a negative experience here over and over and have never complained or said one word, just brushed it off my shoulder and tried again...I now know that I WILL NEVER give them business again after being treated so poorly by the owner himself. He has no customer service skills whatsoever and could care less about listening to my side of the story or offering a fair, even small accommodation. So like I started, its really unfortunate that a small town place like this has clearly gotten too big for their britches and has lost many customers. They don't seem to care at all. The employees are the NICEST people ever and I honestly feel bad that they are employed by such a nasty man. Good luck to anyone who frequents this establishment....just a friendly warning. read more
