#4 turkey, American cheese, cranberry Mayo, bacon, and arugula

Wallingford has so many chain restaurants and this place is adding more variety to this town! Upon entering, the seating area was 75% filled! I saw some yummy fries come out of the kitchen area and they looked really good! The service was very quick and the customer service was awesome! The drink selection is great as well! The menu was a little overwhelming to look at since it was done with chalk. I wish there were a deal for a half sandwich and half salad because I would go here more often! I loved the sandwich I got. I am a sucker for cranberry Mayo. The salad had great flavor, except for the grape tomatoes being in it. I have never had a strawberry salad with tomatoes-- it just didn't blend well with the other ingredients. I ordered it as a takeout and there wasn't much seating or a waiting area. I am looking forward to trying more food from here. I will update this review as I try more :) Keep it up, It's A Wrap!

Recently opened Thanksgiving time, I happened to see their banner as I pulled into Shop Rite plaza. This place is across the street next to a great watch/timekeeper repair shop. In same plaza as Funju. Greeted very warmly upon entering, it's very bright and clean with easy to read menu boards, aside from a paper menu. Two TVs adorn the walls should you decide to eat in. They have a "coffee bar", small selection of refrigerated drinks and a few types of chips as help yourself areas. The kitchen is open to view. I decided to order when I saw they had a vegetarian selection, #10, a take on a caprese sandwich with added roasted peppers and sautéed onions. I got it in a grinder roll, but they typically offer it in a wrap (of course!). About 5 minutes after ordering, the kitchen asked if I wanted one of the many sauces. At their suggestion I got the garlic aioli. I got it as take out. As you'll see in the picture, it's a generous sandwich. It was very good and nice to have something a little different from a sandwich shop. (A few more vegetarian/vegan selections would be nice too, especially with so many industrial vegan proteins available these days.). It was a bit messy to eat with the added garlic aioli. While it tastes good, the aioli was too loose. Frankly, there would've been enough flavor without the addition of any sauce/topping. And a wrap would've been easier to eat (my fault)! Seeing they had chocolate chip cookies and that they bake them there, I had to try them. I'm not sure if fresh or baked from frozen, but they were pretty good. A pinch of salt would make them much better. It nice to have another choice of sandwich and I'll definitely order #10 again when back in the area. They also serve breakfast all day and have a special buy one get one on Tuesdays. I've posted all of the menus.

We went to "That's A Wrap" today for lunch and had a wonderful experience! The Cafe is movie themed, including decor and the names of their signature wraps, along with movies playing on multiple screens visible from all of the seating areas. We ordered the "Silence of the Lambs" wrap (gyro, lettuce tomato, onion, feta and tzatziki sauce), Grilled Chicken Panini (grilled chicken, bacon, spinach and Chipotle mayo), and Chicken and Waffles with side orders of fries and onion rings (both HEAPING portions that I barely got pictures of!) The portions are perfect, the flavors of each of the dishes were amazing and we all left very full and happy! The Cafe was very busy with lunch time guests for both dine in and take out. There is plenty of seating and high chairs for little ones. The staff are very friendly, helpful with menu suggestions and accommodating with children as well! We're so glad we finally had the opportunity to visit and we cannot wait to go back to try more of their menu!

Onto the drinks and food which were so delicious and truly enjoyable. I got the Beachy Bee Iced Latte special, which is a honey vanilla latte with a coconut cold foam and toasted coconut on top (simply divine)! My fiancé got the cappuccino which was made just to his liking, and he's a coffee connoisseur. For food, I had the Bumble, which I highly recommend, with scrambled eggs, subbed with the gluten free sourdough bread (+$2 up-charge) and cheddar instead of American cheese. It's served all day and had so much flavor with that garlic butter, and the seasoned steak. Yum! If you are gluten free like me, you will appreciate that they have the gluten free sourdough bread or a gluten free wrap to substitute with. My partner had the Basic Bee with bacon and thought it was flavorful with light and fluffy scrambled eggs that complimented the bacon well. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you're looking for a breakfast or lunch in Wallingford!

I normally try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but our experience at The Bees Knees Bistro…read morein Wallingford was honestly very disappointing and upsetting. My family and I arrived while it was raining outside with our young daughters in strollers, expecting to sit down for a meal and get out of the weather. Instead, we were told we could not come in with the strollers and essentially felt unwelcome the moment we walked through the door. As parents of babies who are still too young to sit safely in high chairs on their own, the strollers are not optional for us , they are necessary. We were not being disruptive, rude, or inconsiderate. We were simply trying to have a meal as a family. Rather than attempting to accommodate us or show any understanding, we were left feeling like having children made us an inconvenience. What made the situation even worse was the fact that it was pouring outside. Any level of kindness or flexibility would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly shocked by the lack of compassion and customer service. Families with young children already face enough challenges going out in public, and experiences like this make it even harder. We ended up leaving and taking our business somewhere else that was far more welcoming and understanding toward families. It is disappointing because we were genuinely looking forward to trying this restaurant, but first impressions matter. A restaurant does not need to be "kid-centered" to still treat parents and babies with basic respect and decency. I completely understand that restaurants may have space limitations or policies, but there is a respectful and compassionate way to handle situations like this. Instead, the experience came across as cold and dismissive. There are many restaurants in the area that are happy to accommodate families, and moving forward those are the businesses I will continue to support. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to families with infants or children who still require strollers or extra accommodations. I wont be going back and giving them .you business, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. Totally rude and discrimination towards those with babies. I did not feel cherished like their website says every guest is. Its sad because this will and im sure does effect their business. I will never give them my business after yesterday. No attempts at accommodating us or evening offering to let us sit outside, lazy staff, but yet there were 3 teenage girls taking names for the wait list. What a joke.

Our server was knowledgeable of gluten free options on the menu, which was great. They start every table with potato chips and a yummy aioli, truly addicting! For food, the filet mignon was perfection. A previous time I came, they had shrimp and scallops in a saffron cream with wild rice and market vegetables and it was DIVINE! The menu does change so that dish wasn't listed this recent time that we went. It would be amazing if they brought it back as a permanent dish!!! For drinks, I loved by Buzzin in Bikini Bottom cocktail! It is my favorite! My fiancé liked the Negroni and Julep as well, but loved my drink above those. I'd definitely recommend going to Six One Nine for a date night or dinner outing!

It was a little loud for nothing being completely full but it wasn't distracting or uncomfortable. Affogato was incredible, Brussels 619 was good a bit dry and maybe missing a hint of something. The mussels had a dominating flavor of cumin and the meatballs were in a creamy reddish Marsala tasting sauce . The meatballs fell apart, and were unstab-able with my fork. I loved the colony mule, it was so tasty and I'd def get it again. Overall fun experience here at 619 supper club.

It has taken me way too long to write this review, but I only recently started reviewing some of…read morethe places I've loved over the years, and The Eatery absolutely deserves one. When I lived in Wallingford for about three years, The Eatery became one of my places. I would stop in for breakfast before work, or someone from my team would make the breakfast run. At least once a month, we had to have an Eatery morning. We ordered lunch from here too, so over time this little place became part of our routine. When I eventually left Wallingford, my team actually bought me my last breakfast sandwich from The Eatery before I left. It sounds like such a small thing, but it was honestly bittersweet because they knew how much I loved this place. And years later? It's still just as good. One of the biggest reasons The Eatery has always stood out to me is the customer service. Everyone I've encountered has been sweet, polite and welcoming, but I especially have to mention Sam. Over the years, she became one of those people who made you feel like more than just another customer. She genuinely got to know her regulars. There were times I'd place my order online and it felt like she already knew I was coming. I'd walk through the door and she'd have everything ready. She has always been incredibly kind, caring and attentive, not only with me, but with the customers around her as well. That kind of customer service is something you remember. My son has been eating their food since he was around one year old, and he STILL loves it. Now whenever we're back in Connecticut for his appointments, my mom will ask, "Can we please stop at The Eatery?". Sometimes we're able to make it and sometimes we're not, but this past Friday we finally did. I ordered my favorite kind of breakfast: a bacon, egg & cheese on a pretzel roll. SO GOOD. The pretzel roll with the warm egg, bacon and melted cheese is such a perfect combination. My mom ordered her bacon, egg & cheese on ciabatta, and my son had one as well. Although apparently his wasn't enough, because he ended up stealing mine. Apparently Mom's food always tastes better. I also tried what I believe was their watermelon mint refresher/tea, which was refreshing and perfect with breakfast, while my mom had a caramel coffee that she absolutely loved. And please don't think they're only a breakfast spot. Their lunch is just as good. I used to order their salads all the time during work, and they were always incredibly fresh. In fact, my coworkers were notorious for wanting some of my salad because they knew where it came from. Everything always tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared rather than like something that had been sitting around. Another thing I love is seeing how much this place has grown. I remember what it was like when I first discovered it, and coming back years later and seeing what they've created is wonderful. They've added so much personality while somehow keeping the same warm feeling and the same wonderful people. The atmosphere is adorable. It's bright, clean, modern and welcoming, with tons of beautiful greenery, hanging plants, warm wood tones, woven light fixtures and fun pops of color. The big "Hello Wallingford!" mural is such a cute touch. There are little details everywhere, but it doesn't feel overdone, it has that relaxed neighborhood café feeling where you can grab your food and go or just enjoy being there. I also love how they change things up for the seasons and different occasions. They always seem to have something fun going on, especially around fall and the holidays, and I believe they offer catering as well. Funny enough, before I discovered The Eatery, I had driven past it so many times without realizing what I was missing. Once I finally stopped in, it became somewhere I went for years. If you live in Wallingford, you need to try this place. And honestly, even if you're coming from North Haven, New Haven or elsewhere in the area, make the drive. It's worth it. I may not live in Connecticut anymore, but whenever we're back in the area, The Eatery is still one of those places my family wants to stop. The food is delicious, the ingredients taste fresh, the atmosphere is beautiful, and most importantly the people have remained just as kind and welcoming as I remember them. Some restaurants are simply places you eat. The Eatery became part of my memories of living in Wallingford, and that's probably the best compliment I can give them. Keep telling them they need a second location in another state! Everyone deserves to try how amazing they are
