For instance size 0 is a 10/12, size 1 is a 14/16 and so on. Located on the 2nd floor across from Forever 21. The hot pink torrid card is great for savings. Helpful staff, Katie is a sweetheart. But this shop has a few issues that keep me from being completely over the top in love. First, the inventory is totally unpredictable. One week I can go in and get a gorgeous gown for a fancy event, and then the next week all I can find are hot neon t-shirts with stupid phrases. I've seen one rack of dresses there for over a month, but if I want something I know just came out in the lookbook, I have a better chance finding it online. The sales are great but also mean you have to time your shopping since you would be out of pocket a whole lotta cash if you pay full price. Its easy to never pay full if you have any wiggle room for your purchases.

Going to Framingham is not convenient at all, but I arrived shortly after they opened on a weekday to avoid what I assume is craziness on the weekends. The desk for returns is right at the front door, there was no line; Eleanor was very nice and had my return processed in no time. Each one of my feet actually has their own ZIP Code, so I have to pay taxes on them, unfortunately. And if you think my feet are massive, you should see the size of my socks. Luckily, DXL has always been there to supply me with some clown shoes that are not only comfortable, but they look good and don't break my bank account. So I tend to have a positive opinion of them. Until my last shopping experience. I had gotten a coupon in the mail for what seemed like a very generous offer. I don't remember what it is, but it was very good. Enough to get me into the store, which was their goal. The discount was for something like a flat amount off the total purchase, or maybe a percentage discount. Don't really remember but you get my drift I hope. After trying on a handful of shoes, I found three or four pairs that I was happy with and wanted to buy. I brought them to the front of the store, which was being staffed by a guy i had been chatting with my whole time there. He was very personable and friendly. Good guy. He rang up my order and went to use my coupon. Ladies and gentlemen, this is when the malarkey started to happen. I had naïvely assumed I would just be able to use the coupon on any shoes in the store. How stupid of me! DXL is a corporation, of course they'll be operating with predatory practices. There was more fine print on that stupid coupon than a contract with the devil. Not ONE of the shoes that I wanted to buy were eligible to be used under that coupon. After reading it, I realized that I had got sent a coupon for a discount for shoes in which probably half the stores inventory did not qualify for. Probably will not be returning to the store with business practices like that.

I recently stopped in here while in town to visit a family member. It was a Saturday afternoon on a…read morehot & humid day. Entering the store the air conditioning was welcoming. It was busy and at the same time clean and orderly. It had been years since my last shopping experience and I noticed that not much had changed... Until seeing that clothing was tagged by size.. meaning a size SM would have "S" and so on for a tag. General prices were listed on placards... Much easier than going through a rack, finding something awesome only to find out it's definitely not in your size range! So anyway I picked up a few what I feel are really nice items..and even better the tag being the color of the week - 50% off. I moved on to housewares and poked around some. I really was just browsing more than looking for anything in particular. My eyes caught some bakeware items that looked the perfect size for what I use.. so inspecting it I saw they were all " new" and Chantal .. even better the sticker on them was the 50% off color of the week. So I chose just 1 and tossed it into my cart. Checkout went very quickly. I found any of the staff I interacted with to be friendly and helpful. I felt perfectly safe shopping - people kept their distance..some masked and others were not which is the case now at the time of this writing. Its a haul for me but with the incredible deals I got I'm already planning my next visit!

There are also no bathrooms open to the public. So if you decide to go make sure to dress in a way that would best accommodate trying clothes on over them. ONE, and it is the week before Hannukah/Christmas!! Behind the checkout area was a (female) supervisor of some sort who was sorting boxes, and while that could have been for something important as well, perhaps getting customers who are trying to pay moving through the line would have been better??!! On the good side, the clearance shoes have been well-organized each time I have been in (although there was nothing for me yesterday). The disappointing thing was that I had a difficult time finding the shoes I was looking for - black heels. This must be the most basic heel (except for a nude color?), but the selection was minimal because a HUGE part of the womens section was boots. Boots are great and it is December in New England, but they don't work with a suit at work, a wedding, etc. Sure you can order from the website, but you may need to order 5-10 pairs to find just the right one (and then schlep them all back to the store for a return). Lots of parking right out front, but so-so inside.

The parking is a bit odd, but there is plenty of it. Walk up the stairs of the brick building and you will face a very long room that seems to go 250 ft maybe. Lots of furniture and shoes/bags right when you walk in. There is a room off the side for cds, housewares and electronics. I think the prices are good/fair for the housewares. The bulk of the building is dedicated to womens and children's clothes. There is one corner for toys, but it is a smaller collection. The men's clothes are in the back and is about half the size, but there is plenty of clothes to be found. I am not from the area, but the prices seem high for the clothes. I bought a t-shirt for $3.99. I personally thought it should be .75 to a dollar. It appears that many of the clothes are priced similar and it is still cheaper than Savers or any department store by far. The check out cashiers are very nice but they take a while. I was probably in line for 5 minutes. I didnt mind waiting though since they were friendly.
