I saw so many things I wanted to get! Unfortunately, some of them were way to big to wrangle home, but nonetheless it was fun looking around. The place had a mix of authentic antiques and new made to look old stuff in a few booths. A number of booths featured vintage clothing, and home decor, with the full rainbow of small collectibles and ephemera. Also, as an out-of-towner, the directions took me to the front of the store, with only street parking, but there was a parking lot behind the building, and other fun shops in the building. This was on a lower level. Definitely a spot worth wandering around if you like old things.

Very interesting and unique locally owner stores and super friendly people!! I was fascinated by the store " Seed to Stem" which is described as a lifestyle and plant boutique. They had a fascinating array of plants and plant related books/items as well as a full array of interesting home related items...decor items crystals/incense, books and the like. It was easy to spend on hour in the store just taking it all in. We also went to the Aristide in the basement and enjoyed looking at the wide range of items...books, clothing, jewelry, knick knacks of various ages, and general home decor items. Each booth is immaculately curated with great pieces. Mostly items that would be dated between the 50'-80's. I found the pricing to be pretty fair. Their vintage Christmas collections this year were especially lovely and I'm already looking forward to next holiday season.

The shop has a large number of vendors, some of whom I am friends with. Unfortunately, the owner is very outspoken about their far-right politics on social media. It's distasteful when business owners are so vocal about their political views, regardless of the side they support. This shop is a thrift/antique market; who do they think their primary customer base is? In their post, they stated: "If you don't like this or don't agree with it. You already know there are other shops to choose from, or take your ass to Target" I sent a message suggesting they should be careful about publicly taking sides on political issues. I mentioned that I know some vendors there and that I would most likely not return. The owner's response: "No one asked you what you thought; we don't need you to return. You most definitely dont have any friends lol so have a good summer Karen." This is not how a business owner should behave, and it's incredibly toxic! While they are right that there are other places to shop in the area, actions like this likely lose more customers than they gain. When I stated that I would make sure others knew how he acted he then placed my image and information on blast on FB and Instagram for "his customers to decide" Of course adding a ton of far-right political nonsense where his equally toxic supporters added their thoughts.

Prices are very reasonable and much of the proceeds go to local charities-so you can feel great about shopping! They accept donations so clear out your closets of newer, gently used clothes before you stop by. I do not think I have ever been here that I left empty handed. And stop by the Pickle Haus for an awesome sandwich for lunch!

I've found some basic kitchen stuff here, but I've also noticed that a lot of their pots and pans are really scratched up and not in good condition. Staff/volunteers do a nice job of styling the mannequins, but I've hardly bought any clothes from this thrift store, and I thrift for all my clothes. I haven't really found any amazing finds here. No really nice brands. It seems like cheap college kid clothes. I am a Clark student and know that the store gets many donations from its students around move out day, so maybe then is a better time to shop. The store also gets its donations from unclaimed laundry, so those clothes for sale are often clean, on the bright side.
