What a joke of a store, was met with a friendly greeting, and seemed enthusiastic about me bringing in three bags full of flannels.. until what I was carrying actually had value, was told they sell their flannels for $30( that look like they came from goodwill) id think a boutique clothing store selling old faded band T's for close to $200 would be interested in some limited run dixxon flannels, half still in plastic, and some fetching upwards of $200 online.. was told she only had $100 in the register, while a homeless person sat on their couch taking to themself.. and if didn't like her response I could contact her boss.. I asked if the attitude came for free, the response "yup! And you are welcome to not come back"~snarky clerk... You can bet I won't be back. Close to closing time with only $100 in the register, must treat everyone the same. read more

Not the thriftiest of thrift stores but vintage and original finds! Overall very cool place and reasonable prices.

This is a fantastic vintage clothing store. There was a great selection of men's shirts, T's, jackets, and pants. Normally these type of thrift/vintage places have a limited men's selection, but it was pretty killer here. The man behind the counter was awfully nice and we chatted a bit. Reasonably priced clothes, probably my only gripe would be that don't wash everything upon buying, but other than that fantastic. I'd recommend this place if you like unique finds and you're in the Worcester area! read more

I've been in search of a good thrift store near me and Grime was PERFECT! Not only was the selection amazing (with plenty of sizes to choose from) but the prices were also ridiculously reasonable! I got a pair of lightly worn Levi's for only $20, that is a steal!! The decor is super funky and nostalgic which is always a plus. You can tell how much the owners care and how much time they put into their store. But what really sold me on Grime was the family who owns it. In love with this rad place! Good finds, price is okay, and they get new stuff almost every day. I would rate this place 5 stars but.. Their jewelry, i'm not sure if they're hand-made, break often and what sucks is they don't have any type of warranty for their own jewelry.. My earrings broke twice even though i never wore it. So when i went back to return or exchange for a brand new (still attached to the origional tag) , they basically said "nope, sorry." The manager did try and fix it in front of me, but failed. But another employee told me to use super glue.. Are you kidding me? These earring chains must be soldered.. I'm not an idiot. I suggest that they adopt a type of warranty for their own merchandise. read more

Selection is good, price is okay - definitely on the pricier side - the main issue you will find is with the service. The store clerks do not even acknowledge you when you are trying to buy something. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes and did not even get eye contact. Unless you want to find something and be frustrated by the lack of basic courtesy, don't bother. read more

Love, Love, Looove this place. I have found so many cool pieces from this store. They have such a variety of clothing and accessories. I'm pretty sure 90% of the necklaces i own came from this store. There's a mix of used clothing, vintage and new. Men's and women's clothing is both available. I have picked up flannels from here as well as numerous pairs of shoes for under 20 bucks. The bargain bin is also a great option. There's a wall filled with a diverse selection of shoes and purses. My favorite is the jewelry and accessories scattered around the checkout. There is always cute necklaces or rings to pick out. Some of the jewelry was created by local artists so you know you can pick up something that is unique and fun. The whole vibe of the store is great and I could spend hours looking around and still keep finding new items. The owner and staff are awesome. It's a must visit on Shrewsbury st. read more

This is one of the best consignment shops Worcester has to offer! You can score great deals, trade in used clothes for store credit, and pick from a mixed variety of styles! The owner is great as well and is constantly updating the stores Instagram with weekly deals and items! Highly recommended. read more

Treasures! This is my kind of thrifting- small and organized, but with bargain bins to paw through. Clothing is separated by category, but not size. Synthetic fabrics galore, but then up pops a 100% wool navy sweater with seals, a BCBG maxi dress, and a Dooney + Bourke handbag in reasonable condition. Bright, patterned polyester blouses; scarves/belts/knit hats; some fantastic costume dresses; small selection of vintage tees. Definitely worth a stop, plus the staff is super nice. read more

Super cute shop in a beautiful building. The items sold are vintage and various. They have a great selection of dresses, t-shirts, pants, skirts and accessories. Grime is a cool place, considering it's in Worcester. I like that they offer both new and used clothing and that they have a bargain bin. I like the style of most of their clothing and that they have little sales here and there. Now on the downside, if Grime were in a bigger city such as Boston/Cambridge/Somerville, I'm not sure they would make it. With competitors such as The Garment District and Buffalo exchange I would say Grime would be overpriced, comparatively. By that I'm primarily saying, they're a great little shop, but a bit overpriced. read more

Went in recently and was pretty disappointed. The selection was poor and consisted of clothes handpicked out from Salvation Army. The prices were also pretty high considering the quality. There was also only one girl working who didn't even say hi or smile the entire time my friend and I were there. It made the experience of being in the store very awkward and we couldn't wait to leave even though we drove about forty minutes to get there. I had high hopes for this place too since I've been following them on Instagram for awhile but sadly, I will not be returning any time soon. read more
