From sitting down to getting our food was about 20 minutes, so this is a solid place to stop if you're trying to get back on the road soon. To top it off, the food was incorrect: the mini Cuban sandwiches were turkey instead of the pork advertised on the menu. Why an automatic gratuity charge was added to a pickup order was already surprising, but I could have possibly overlooked that had the service not been so unpleasant and the food had been true to what was advertised on the menu. Sadly, I can't recommend this place and won't be returning, not even for pickup. It felt like they were annoyed to have any orders at all. With the service they exhibited, I'm honestly shocked they're still in business.

The country style platter we ordered was also a ten according to my friend, hearty and satisfying in the best way. The lobster benedict was good, I would give it about an eight. It's a fun, unique option if you want to try something different, but not the standout compared to the rest of the menu. And then there's the real star of the show, the Key lime pie. Even if you are not hungry, come for the pie. This is hands down the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, not overly tart, smooth and almost cheesecake like in texture. The decor is charming and thoughtfully cluttered in a way that feels authentic, not staged. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Our server was friendly and helped us get our favorite guava pastries. Their prices are very reasonable here. They were fresh baked and smelled so good! They also have Cuban coffee, iced and hot. They make delicious cakes and donuts. And the favorite there is the Cuban Sandwich, which is generously filled with ham, shredded pork, pickle, cheese and crusty bread. They also have pastelitos and croquettas. Parking is right in front of the super cute casa restaurant. There is outdoor dining and a few tables inside also. They have a drive-in also.
