Extremely Disappointed…read more I brought my Subaru to the dealership because it was experiencing a transmission issue. Instead of focusing on the actual problem, I was presented with an estimate totaling over $16,000 in repairs. Some of the items they claimed needed to be repaired simply did not make sense. For example, they said my radiator needed to be replaced. If my radiator had actually been failing the way they claimed, my vehicle would have been overheating--which it wasn't. I knew several of the recommended repairs were unnecessary. Because the estimate seemed so excessive, I sought a second opinion from AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care on Van Buren in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. They inspected the vehicle, confirmed the actual issue was the transmission, and told me that many of the repairs recommended by the dealership were not needed. AAMCO repaired my Subaru Crosstrek for roughly one-third of what Subaru wanted to charge, and two months later the transmission is running better than ever. In my opinion, the dealership lost my business because they attempted to sell me thousands of dollars' worth of repairs that my vehicle did not need. A trustworthy service department should diagnose the actual problem and recommend only the repairs that are necessary--not overwhelm customers with an inflated estimate. If you need transmission work or want a second opinion, I strongly encourage you to contact AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care on Van Buren in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.

None of these services were actually done. My oil life still showed 33%, the oil sticker was not changed, and Firestone confirmed the filter on my vehicle does not match the part number on the invoice. My tires were marked and were never rotated. I received no service video or photos, which the dealership normally provides. When I arrived, the service advisor told me I was not the owner of my own vehicle and insisted someone named "Daniel Quintero" owned it until I proved ownership with my registration. I waited two hours at the dealership and another hour at Firestone to verify the work. The service director never returned my call. This experience appears to involve fraudulent documentation and failure to perform contracted services.

Extremely disappointing experience at Coulter GMC. I've purchased many new vehicles in my life and…read moreconsider myself an informed consumer, and this dealership seemed very unhappy that I understood the numbers and questioned unnecessary charges. I originally came in to look at two trucks, but somehow one of them was suddenly unavailable during my appointment. Conveniently, it was the truck with more options at nearly the same price. Right away it felt like they were trying to push me toward the lesser-equipped truck instead. Then came the advertised rebates and financing offers that apparently could not actually be combined once we sat down to discuss the deal. That immediately felt like bait-and-switch tactics. The dealership also tried adding nearly $2,000 in "mandatory" extras I never asked for, including: $100 for nitrogen in the tires Around $500 for a "KeyFetch" key replacement program Window tint and other add-ons When I questioned these charges, I was basically told, "This is what we do when we sell vehicles." Customers should not be forced into paying for unnecessary add-ons just to buy a vehicle. The financing process was even worse. Salesman Joe, the GM, and finance manager Ryan told me 5.75% through Global was the "best rate available." After checking myself, I found out customers can apply directly online and get 5.5%. Same story with GAP insurance: they attempted to charge around $1,000, but Global itself offers it for about $495. At that point it became obvious I needed to fact-check everything myself. All I wanted was a clean purchase agreement with: Advertised price Tax Title Registration Standard doc fee No forced extras. No inflated products. No games. Instead, the entire experience felt shady, misleading, and unnecessarily confrontational because I refused to be taken advantage of. Buying a vehicle should not feel like a battle over hidden fees and misleading financing information. Very frustrating experience overall.
