I almost don't want to review this place because I don't want it to become so busy I can't go anymore lol. We went upstairs for drinks and snacks. Will definitely be back. The drinks were great and the food was tasty. The menu is cheap so it's limited but it's enough to keep me happy. We had the fries, pimento cheese, and a burger. The burger was amazing. The pimento cheese was sharp but not goopy. The fries were great. Also shout out to the best bartender, Molly with the killer playlist!

Audrey is open for a limited time for lunch, and I'm surprised that it isn't more crowded, to be honest. We enjoyed a quiet meal with only 2-3 other groups in the whole restaurant. We were well taken care of; our drinks were never empty, and the staff were attentive to our needs. The fries were incredibly flavorful, and the burger was absolutely delightful. I probably would not order the grilled bread again, but that is my personal preference. You can tell this is a high quality spot, and it is offering great meals at an affordable price. The restaurant is decorated with dried herbs and flowers, and you can see your food being delicately prepared in the open kitchen. This is a great choice for a light meal and conversation with a close group.

Fancier type of restaurant in the Nashville downtown area. Drinks were good. Portions a bit on the small side. Catfish was excellent. The beef dish that my buddy had was not to his liking. I think that we just got unlucky with some of the things we ordered. I'd like to try it again for sure.

Finally got to check this place out. Wanted to see what was on that $5 menu. My $5 cocktail was really good. I got the well and house tonic with tequila and i asked if she can add some oranges and it was light and refreshing. It was kind of busy for a Thursday nite so the service was a little slow but it was ok. We wasn't in no hurry. We tried the smoked trout and the tallow fries and i liked it. Nothing to be wowed about but hey it was $5! Cool spot though. Worth checking out for sure and they validate parking up to 3 hrs!

First time here, Sean Brock pulled it off again! Had the beef which we were told was strip but there's no way. It was indistinguishable from the best filet you've had. Potato puree and mushrooms were perfect and oh yeah, bone marrow reduction. So there's that. Cornbread was great, different recipe than his famous one. Scrapple is unique and worth a try! Only complaint is it's very dark inside. Go to the bar upstairs while you wait for some amazing tiny $5 cocktails! Parking is free for 3 hours, remember your plate number and scan the code when you get inside.

Average decibels 90, measured using a sound meter. 745 PM on a Friday night. Restaurant 80% occupied. 90 decibels is equal to standing near a lawn mower, hairdryer or food blender. My dining companion has a hearing disability, so loud restaurants take special planning. This restaurant was able to accommodate us by placing us in a more private corner. The entire dining experience was extraordinary! From the minute we walked in, we were made to feel special and as if we were the only people there. The menu is a wonderful delight of food flavors and presentation. Our server was attentive yet invisible at the same time We had ordered the Prix Fixed for the evening. It was a wonderful sampling of all of their best foods. We began with two house drinks. My companion had the marigold, and I had the Cherry. They were absolutely delicious. We added the additional food add-on, in addition to the wine pairing. I didn't take a picture of the menu, so I don't remember what everything was called. However, I took a picture of almost every course. It was well paced, not rushed, and the sommelier seemed to appear out of nowhere to fill our wine glasses. If you would like a top notch, upscale dining experience with charming ambiance, then I highly recommend you come here. We can't wait to come back!

WOW!!!! A take on cabbage and collards that was epic!!! The salad had hidden gems, including mint. YUM!!

This restaurant is recommended in the 2025 Michelin Guide, so you know it's going to be good. They have Appalachian and Southern inspired ( Seasonal )Menus along with responsibly sourced ingredients, many from Local Farms. They serve Dinner daily and Brunch on the weekends. They also have a family style menu for the brunch if you have a group. They have Private Dining upstairs for groups of 12 or more we were told by our server, who by the way was very nice, friendly and totally awesome. The interior of the restaurant has soft wood tones with a rustic feel and Folk Art on the walls. It's very warm and welcoming, which compliments the food. This review is for the weekend Brunch. The menu is small ,but big enough for everyone to find something they like. They have the typical Brunch drinks along with several non alcoholic options. There is a pay to park lot beside the building and there is also some street parking nearby the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our experience at Audrey was top notch! We are from Appalachia and we loved the upscale takes on our home food. Our server was lovely. (I can't remember his name but he is from Boston and deserves all the accolades). The chef visited our table with a Kilt lettuce surprise that was phenomenal. All of the dishes were creative and flavorful. I can't say enough! Make sure you leave room for the root beer float. They make their own root beer and my lord, it's aces. I recommend Audrey with my whole chest.

Smoked and fried carrot. Simple but so very tasty. This even beats our top notch wedding carrots.

This is a perfect spot for a casual date, a nice business dinner, or even an upscale family night out. Ambiance is cozy and clean, food is carefully curated, and service is candid. Took my in-laws here when they were visiting from out of town. If they weren't already thinking about moving closer to us in Nashville, I think Audrey's carrot alone has convinced them to call this city home. And they don't even like carrots! We are excited to come back and try their seasonal offerings!

I went to Audrey for a birthday dinner and had a good experience. The vibe of the restaurant and the service was really great. I really enjoyed most of the food, but my favorite was the chicken and dumplings. They also had an orange wine that was delightful.

We had a Saturday brunch here and the restaurant is beautiful. Being able to see the whole kitchen is always a treat and the decor and ambiance is great during the day and I'm sure even better at night. Don't forget to check out the bathrooms - they might be the best part! Service wasn't great - the waitress wasn't helpful and when we asked for a recommendation, she simply said "everything is great" - which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I'm not sure if the server was new because when we asked questions they didn't know any answers. Everything was also very slow. They coursed everything out for us but we waited about 20 minutes between courses and then even longer for the check after we were done. The food was really good! I don't know if I would go back specifically for anything we ordered, but no complaints on flavor. I even thought the portions were fine and we were both full when we left.

Audrey exceeded expectations! I chose this restaurant special for my husband. It was his first time in Nashville, and we wanted to try some regional cuisine. Audrey features Appalachian cultural foods and focuses on produce that is in season. When I say that everything we tasted was delicious, I am not exaggerating! The most memorable dish was the tomatoes. And the breads with fresh butter were incredible. We even tried the paw paw dessert, and it great! The restaurant decor featured original eclectic abstract art pieces. It's beautifully designed. We were very happy with the service and really the whole experience. My husband says this may have been his favorite meal of the year.

    Ask the Community - Audrey

Does Audrey offer a non-alcoholic pairing or do they have any mocktails on the menu?

They offer some fantastic mocktails along with some very original cocktails

How much is the meal per person? Is it $60 per person? Thanks!

The menu changes, but when I went there was a $77, $87, and $97 option.

Do they allow outside wine for a corkage fee?

I don't believe so. They do offer a wine pairing option.

Great value if you are coming with a group and can't decide what to get. The menu is seasonal, so made differ when you visit, but my favorites were the squash and brussels sprouts. They were very accommodating of a gluten intolerance at our table and the staff thoroughly explained the components of every dish and reiterated throughout the dinner what was gluten-free and what wasn't. I pivoted to the Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade for a second dreamy beverage treat. The server sensed that one wasn't hitting the same (the limeade was SOOOO strong), so she swapped it out for me--back to another Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade! Without me asking. Figuring out what the diner needs and handling it before the diner asks (or was never going to change) - that's service! Straight fire (in the best way): * Those boudin balls are crispy perfection on the outside, packed with flavorful house-made sausage inside - addictive and authentic! * The red beans and rice (loaded with smoky Andouille) is rich, hearty, and comforting - exactly what you'd crave on a cool day. * And don't even get me started on the shrimp po'boys - plump, perfectly fried Gulf shrimp piled high on that soft Leidenheimer bread, dressed just right with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles. Juicy, crunchy, seasoned to perfection. One of the best po'boys I've had anywhere outside Louisiana! What seals the deal is the people. The staff is always friendly and quick, the bartenders sling great drinks (Abita on tap is clutch), and you can tell the owner pours real heart into this place - it's personal, passionate, and makes every visit feel special. Spicy Boy's nails authentic Cajun food and that lively, no-fuss atmosphere we all love. Generous portions, fair prices, and pure joy on a plate. If you're in East Nashville (or willing to drive), go now - you won't regret it. We'll be back again and again! Laissez les bons temps rouler! Here are some mouthwatering visuals to go with it - imagine these on your next visit! Here are the crispy, golden boudin balls that keep us coming back:

Came in on Saturday afternoon to have a seat at the bar. Greeted first by the chill atmosphere and…read morebustling crowd, it was a decent spot to perch. Daytime bartender was Excellent and very good at keeping up with the steady flow of guests and tickets. The food here is excellent, comes as is and the one page menu covers something for everyone... maybe not the vegans, almost anyone. Shift change was a bit awkward as the daytime bartender tab was closed but the evening bartender didn't follow up, money was left on the table. The seafood boils are solid, great bar choice if you're a beer and spirit drinker. Overall, this is worth a visit and a great value.
