Came here as a date night for their Murder at the Mansion murder mystery dinner. The show has been great and the actors were super energetic. The food has been phenomenal, atmosphere is really nice and I would definitely come back again.

The Bar at Ellington's Restaurant is awesome!! We enjoyed cocktails with Isaiah the phenomenal bartender! I recommend coming here if you are looking for unique eats and a place to chill! The food was great and Isaiah's drinks were fabulous! We enjoyed chatting with Isaiah!

Second review - half a year later - food and service continues to be excellent. Party of three started with the pimento cheese app, delicious with the bagel chips. Entrees were filet with manchego potatoes, bone in pork chops with roasted potatoes and the chicken with gnocchi. Filet great, finest amount of potatoes ever but that's fine cause they were the saltiest. Despite being described as a petit filet it was huge so the portion size was great, cooked perfectly. Pork chops got great reviews. The chicken and gnocchi said the gnocchi was some of the best and really didn't even need the chicken. Always great service and ambiance- truely a hidden gem in downtown Nashville.

Seems like a secret restaurant no one knows about! We had a reservation, were sat outside (weather was great) and the noise was the perfect level to have conversation. The food was amazing! If you eat here, you get to jump the line to go to the pop up bar upstairs! The theme was "falling in the Fairlane". The drinks were all fall themed which was a fun after dinner spot!

Came here for a drink and appetizer with my husband a few nights ago. Nice, sexy bar with great evening ambiance and low lighting, as well as beautiful skyline view. Cocktails were good, and the pimento dip was yummy and good to share. Would recommend, or come again next tome we're in town.

The Honest Thief was sweet but just strong enough to pair well with dinner. 8/10

This is a hotel restaurant but the atmosphere is very elegant and feels upscale. It feels like an experience but my friends and I were dressed fairly nice, while everyone else worse jeans and a t-shirt. Our server was a smooth taker but friendly. Overall, the food was good and the restaurant provided a nice and cozy ambiance.

As previous reviews mention, Ellington's offers a great happy hour menu! Prices are awesome, with food options for $5 and cocktails for $7. If I was only reviewing drinks, this place would've been easily 5-stars. The Rosemary Collins and Cucumber Gimlet were both dynamite. What is lacking was the food.. which could've easily just been what we ordered. The Hot Chicken Deviled Eggs were pretty much just boiled eggs with a spoon full a chipotle mayo on top. The center of the egg was not mixed as you would expect with a traditional deviled egg. Could've been a personal preference, but it just wasn't good. We didn't order any additional food items so I'm not sure if other items are better. Hard to judge the atmosphere during COVID, but I would expect summers to be really cool with their outdoor space. I'd recommend definitely checking out the happy hour drinks and other food items, the prices really make it worth stopping in.o

What a hidden gem you step out of the elevator and into a different time. It is updated yet has enough of the charm from long ago. Reservations on Resy - Easy Peasy All the wait staff -super friendly! I love the menu has a simplicity to it. My steak was cooked to perfection The biscuits were delicious (berry jam so I could not partake) Love the drink menu very unique flavors. The Pacific Prince was my choice they light the rosemary so it gives it a smoky vibe! Cannot wait to go back and check out the beautiful outdoor area. They offer love music and events!

Food was good, service was better! I was visiting Nashville with a group of friends and we wanted to celebrate our last night in town at a nicer restaurant. The ambiance at Ellington's is so beautiful and the food was great! However, our experience wouldn't have been nearly as memorable without the hospitality of our server, Christopher! He let us know that the restaurant was short staffed and he greatly appreciated our patience, sure enough he was behind the bar making our cocktails and the chef was running food to our table. We had zero complaints as Christopher is so charming and took such great care of us! We enjoyed our meal so much, 3 hours absolutely FLEW by and this was truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time!

    What's the best parking option?

I would just use Park Hero or another parking app. With a little walk you can park for free, after 5pm, at the Tennessee State Capital Parking.

    What is the dress code?

Nice casual. Nice jeans, collar shirt

How far is this from Opryland?

Hi Gail, It is approximately 18 minutes away from Fairlane Hotel.… Read more

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.

Staff at the humidor offered zero guidance or recommendations. Drinks were forgettable, and we had to fetch them ourselves from the bar like we were at a college sports pub instead of an upscale cigar lounge. Then came the cigars. We were left to cut and light them ourselves, which would've been fine if every disposable torch in the place wasn't nearly empty or completely out of butane. Nothing says 'premium lounge experience' quite like fighting for a working lighter. To top it off, the moment a large group walked in, the bartender started loudly screaming out drink orders across the room. The entire atmosphere instantly shifted from refined cigar lounge to livestock auction barn. This place is living off the reputation of what Blend used to be. If you're expecting an elevated experience, look elsewhere."
