They catered to tourists our food went back so many times ask for tea water was not hot the chef came over and apologized but by the time my Food came I lost no interest in eating to many problems with the food they can't handle large groups 13 they all like the drinks and the bartender .I don't drink so I won't know. PSA: this is my first yelp review. That's how bad this place is. THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STEPPED FOOT DO NOT APPROACH!! Imagine shrek's swamp but infinitely worse. Smelled like shit and there was nasty water dripping off all surfaces. The girls at the front were so rude. Charged a ridiculous cover charge, we walked in and immediately turned around after seeing the god awful state of the place. They charged us $60 when they said it'd be $40. A blatant attempt to rip customers off. Management and hostesses refused to refund cover charge even though we hadn't even been in the bar for even 15 seconds. We were visiting Nashville and decided to go off of Broadway to try this place. We made a reservation so there was no wait. It took a while for someone to acknowledge us. We ordered right away. We ordered the ribeye, the kung pao and a side caesar salad. The food took about 50 minutes to come out. The reason for ordering the salad was so that it would come out before the entree but it all came out at the same time. The food was pretty good. Came here for a company team dinner during our annual conference. We picked it because several of our team members have dietary restrictions and the menu was able to accommodate everyone. The employees were so friendly and even had little welcome signs for us at our table! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious!! We also shared some mottzerella sticks and the dumplings. We were informed that the restaurant was only serving the brunch menu, which narrowed down my options and made the choice a little easier. I ended up going with the French toast which was divine. The bread had the eggy, sweet flavor notes which were accentuated by the powdered sugar and maple syrup. The berries on top balanced the heaviness of the bread. I'm not much of a mimosa connoisseur but I enjoyed theirs which had a stronger orange/citrus flavor than others I've had. It paired very well with the French toast. Food: 2/5 - We were underwhelmed by the food. We ordered the caesar salad and mushroom dumplings as starters, the salmon pasta and eastern rice bowl as mains, and crème bule for dessert. I think the food could have been greatly improved if they used a homemade caesar dressing/croutons and freshly shaved Parmesan cheese or made their own pasta/ bought local. They notified us when we were seated that they were short staffed. They have live music and we were one of the last parties before they were transitioning to the night club. Large space, dark setting, and the staff that were working were working hard. We got a round of drinks, lemon drops and and some other cocktails. Some items are large enough to share. Came here to celebrate my sons 17th birthday. The vibe passed, aesthetically. The restaurant was dark with nice ambient lighting. With halo lights hanging from the ceiling that gave a nice effect in photos. Our waitress was nice but really nothing to write home about. She seemed busy majority of the time even with the restaurant appearing to be less than 1/2 full and other staff available. The menu had a lot of options that all sounded delicious. We started with the fried mozzarella that was set in a rosa creamy, vodka sauce. The flavor was there but the sauce was a little cold and for $17, it would've been nice for us 3 to have been able to get more than 4 tiny triangles of cheese to share, but this seemed like one of the places where things are overpriced but it's a birthday dinner so we signed up for that. My man ordered the blackened salmon pasta for his entree, my son chose the kung pao shrimp, and I opted for the roasted lamb with risotto. My sons shrimp dinner had about 8 pieces of medium/large shrimp and he said it was good. He ate it all within about 5 minutes and I was left asking him if he was still hungry. He was, but not famished. My partner, was picking around his salmon, not really wow'd by the flavor but I suggested to him to pour in the sauce left over from the fried cheese to make it a little more jazzy. He took my suggestion and really enjoyed it after that. He had a hefty piece of salmon atop his pasta that filled him up. My lamb dinner looked underwhelming on presentation because the protein were 2 of the smallest lamb pops I've seen. I'd guess there were probably about 4-5 oz of protein between the 2. But I cut off a little taste for each of the guys to get their opinion and we all agree that my dish had the best flavor. There was a mountain of risotto, cooked to perfection, topped with this beautifully rich , creamy, mushrooms sauce. It was DELICIOUS! I so wished there would've been more lamb to accompany my carbs. But I boxed the leftover risotto and sauce to go, and plan on cooking a nice by strip to enjoy with that sauce later. After dinner, the bartender brought 2 flutes bubbly that I mistaken to be the Welch's I brought earlier that day. We were waiting for the 3 flute to come for a toast before I decided to taste what was given to us to make sure it wasn't alcohol being given to my kid, and it was. I wasn't mad because it wasn't handed directly to him, but I almost gave him the champagne not knowing it wasn't the one we brought in. They finally brought over his bottle of Welch's with a fun sparkler stretched to it and a few minutes later, the cake with the same flare. The presentation of those 2 were a little unorganized and unenthusiastic but my kid is the same so it didn't matter either way. Drink's and appetizers were delicious, but the entree's were expensive for the portion size. many places that sell scallops, usually give you 5 for the price of $38-42 dollars. this was the smallest set of scallops i have seen for $38 dollars. I then ordered a side for $14 which was also very small. you're not far from broadway but for the prize of thing's, i expected more. our server was phenomenal but the bartender was awfully slow for only have 5 tables in the restaurant. read more
