Great service and nice ambiance, but the air conditioning in the room we were in wasn't working so it was pretty hot. But other than that, it was a delicious meal!

This place is new and still learning but has work to do. Our server couldn't really give recommendations outside of the pizza and didn't know some menu items. I got a dirty martini and it wasnt good. The starter bread and ricotta was a nice touch. My pasta was very bland for how flavorful it should have been. Lacked basil and flavor and the potatoes inside it didn't make sense. I would try again but overall not impressed with menu and service.

We had a great dinner here! Parking is validated for two hours in the restaurant if you park in the Nashville yards east garage. The burrata salad and the ravioli with butternut squash was soooo good. Dessert was delicious including tiramisu. Very family friendly.

My husband and I went to Culaccino on a whim at 9:30 PM on a Friday night, 3 days after opening. We were seated right away, and service was pleasant. We received complementary bread and ricotta, and ordered Pappardelle and Il Re di Bologna to share. The bad: still and sparkling water will run you $9 each. We were asked if we wanted still, sparkling, or flat water. I answered still, assuming it was tap water and would be free. Nothing about the water price was mentioned. Surprisingly, 20% of our final bill ended up being water, which knocked a whole star off of this review. The good: parking was validated in the Nashville Yards East garage for 2 hours. Plus, the Pappardelle with lamb bolognese was delicious. I would come back just for that dish, but it was pricey at $26. The pizza was earthy and tasted good, but it was a bit dry without red sauce and the dough was a little underbaked on the sides. My husband enjoyed it though, and it was only $15 compared to the $26 pasta. The ambiance was pleasant. This would make a nice date night. We will be back! However, I will definitely be asking for the FREE water next time and not the $9 water.

Initially we made a reservation for 7 at 8:30, but somehow the host wrote 6 for 8p. So we were squeezing into the table they provided until the party next to us was completed and we were able to add another table to give us space. I had all appetizers- the mussels, the meatballs, the caesar salad and a mocktail. The mocktail was extremely tart, needed some more simple syrup, but the rest of the meal was delicious. And the bread was fantastic and fresh. Good spot for a nice intimate dinner and they validate parking.

That is NOT balsamic. It is the soot from the crust mixed with-oil? Tomato?

Was excited to try this place because it was on a list of great Italian places in Nashville. 30 years in NJ- I've had plenty of great Italian and this was not it. The ambiance was nice - its a lovely building. The staff was courteous & pleasant. Started with the calimari. It was tender inside, crunchy out. Requested some marinara instead of the chili aioli it come with and it was pretty good. Then our meal came. 72 hour pizza appealed because I like a yeasty dough. But I picked up a slice and it flopped right over and everything slid off. Soggy mess. The middle of the pizza was as wet and mushy. I put it down and my fingers had black spots all over them. Not a little residual burnt flour- my fingers got blacker as I handled the pizza and the pizza tasted like soot. I tried a second slice after just one bite of the first , and it was the same thing. The bottom of the pizza was all burned and sooty, the top soupy and mushy in the middle. Terrible. We also ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The bread looked nice and crusty on the top. But it was impossible to pick up the sandwich because the inside was so wet and mushy that it fell apart. The top of the bread was hard like a sourdough and the inside of the sandwich, was wet and mushy. The fried chicken cutlet was nicely thin but the breading was mushy wet. Very unappealing. One bite (with a fork) and hub was done. We made the waitress aware that we were not going to eat our meal and I showed her my fingers were all smeared black after trying to remove the soot. The manager who had taken our order came over and we repeated our complaints and I showed him my black fingers. He returned with a bill and said he hoped we'd come back and they would comp. us some items. He had removed the pizza and sandwich but billed us for the calimari and the sparkling water. (They asked upfront if we preferred sparkling still or tap) Be forewarned-they do not clean their pizza oven often enough or at all. If squishy food is your thing and you like eating pizza and sandwiches with a fork- you'll enjoy it. I hope I ruined their cloth napkin wiping all the soot on it. Grateful I didn't get it on my white shirt.

I was excited to try this spot but left disappointed. The restaurant is very crowded there is not enough room for the tables. My husband was bumped every time the waiter tried to pass to table or guests tried to navigate through the space. The service was very slow, my drink came after our entrees arrived. The food was mediocre, pictured is the ravioli - a single large ravioli in a bowl of oil.

Live on Church St and finally ventured over to Nashville Yards. I rate Culaccino 7/10. Super friendly staff and delicious, quick food and service. I didn't try a pizza but definitely will come back for one! Ambiance is great - dark & cozy but tables for 2 are a bit too close together for my liking. Surprisingly crowded for just opening! I want to come back again with more people to try more menu items! Glad this TN local spot is here!

The vibes were immaculate. Our server was so sweet and service was excellent. Food was awesome too! My husband and I went we shared the mussels and the gnocchi and both were phenomenal. We also had a bottle of Vermentino. I appreciated how the bottle was served in a stand up wine bottle holder just like in Italy.

    Tortelli

Just had a 5:00 pm dinner here with my girlfriend and we had a fantastic time. We had the Tortelli and the Raviolo Al Uovo and both were phenomenal with a great wine pairing from our waiter and sommelier Hoke. To be honest, the theme of the restaurant was I had expected for this type of Italian restaurant but Hoke really made the experience a grand slam. I look forward to coming back again and hope to find more dessert wines on the menu.

Three sides open to queue up to for placing an order, the bartender was doing his best but had no concept of who got there when, so he kept waiting on people that had just walked up while others had been waiting their turn continued to wait. I ordered a seltzer type drink that was refreshing on the warmer than usual day. It was fun, sitting around and watching all that was going on.

This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)
