Iggys had me at house-made pasta. I'm a sucker for all noodles and this place is no exception. This eatery does traditional Italian style pasta with flavorful twists and surprise ingredients. I came here on a quiet weeknight without reservations and was seated right away at a cozy corner table. I wouldn't plan to do that again though, as it was decently busy. Our waiter was patient with us and explained the menu for me as it was my first time dining here. The standout of the night was the "little shells" pasta bursting with creamy, sweet, umami flavor with subtle nods toward its oceanic origin. I also enjoyed the aglio e olio. The pasta has nowhere to hide with this dish, but the restaurant earns its reputation in Italian cuisine with its crafted-to-perfection spaghetti. Other dishes I enjoyed and would reorder include the whipped ricotta and arancini. I skipped the savory garlic bread for the crudo this time, but next time ordering it is a must. With all that said, I recommend you come here for the noodles themselves - everything else is a bonus. If you're craving quality pasta, look no further than Iggys!

One of the best meals I've ever had. The Michelin guide (& several other "Best of Nashville" lists) led me to Iggy's. The last time I trusted the Michelin Guide for Italian, we hit Bancone in London. This was even better. Chef Ryan Poli was in command of the kitchen, and I had a front row seat at the Chef's Counter. Matthew Poli, his brother and the GM/master sommelier stopped by several times as I enjoyed a couple cocktails and (a few) glasses of wine. I even got a free glass of wine! The garlic bread is so unique! Sweet and savory and a perfect complement to the meal. The gem salad was the most perfect combination of flavors and textures- the best salad I've had since The French Room at the Adolphus in Dallas. Rigatoni Bolognese is the pasta you dream about. So rich and delicious. And that lemon huckleberry soft serve! Absolutely exquisite!!!!

Tried the ripped ricotta, the agnolotti, gnocchi with goat cheese, the shells and the coffee brownie soft serve. The ripped ricotta was really good. It had jam and onions on it. The gnocchi was my favorite. I loved the crunchiness of the bread crumbs but the lightness of the goat cheese. The agnolotti was also a . It was sweet and buttery but had a nice lemon finish. The shells were good but slightly salty. The soft serve was good. It is homemade. Lastly, I would come again the food was excellent. Although I did feel like the wine list was lacking options per glass.

Ive been listening to Chef Poli's podcast " How Did I Get Here" since 2023 before he opened Iggys & became a fan of his by listening. His passion for the art of making food & the community of local restaurateurs he brought on to his show makes it a high recommend if youre into pods. Nashville is a city of many transplants & its fascinating to hear how some of the talented individuals got here & what motivates them to feed us so well. Chef Ryan's own history in the industry lends credibility to the level of quality & the experience of dining at Iggy's. Wedgewood used to have very little to offer in terms of dining but now there is an ever expanding list of bangers calling the area home & Iggys stands among the very best. The Michelin Guide just shouted to the world how legit the area is after their recent publication. Several of my favorite Yelp El-eat-ers had raved about going to Iggys over the last year so I decided to finally get down there for my birthday dinner. The restaurant itself was warm & inviting with an open kitchen facing the dining room. I highly recommend the chef's counter seating if you are a dining alone or with another. Being at the counter allowed us to see everything on the menu before ordering & the opportunity to chat with our server who was a delight & reminisced with us about some of the parts of Nashville's food scene that are now long gone. We started off with the whipped ricotta & the soon to be world famous Iggys garlic bread. Both were mouth wateringly good & so different from one another. While it would be a sin to dine here without having the garlic bread I think both are worth getting no doubt. For our pasta mains we went with the seasonal butternut squash tortellini & the goat cheese gnocchi. The pasta here is perfection I loved both of them but not equally as the butternut squash tortellini stole the spotlight with its caramelized bacon richness. Even though we were stuffed, we had to try a dessert & went with the signature Lemon Huckleberry which is topped with their in house soft serve. It was everything you want in a dessert, sweet, tart, delicate, just perfect. I also had the barrel & peel cocktail which was very good. Pretty much an old fashioned with cacao bitters and garnished with a lemon peel so you get a wonderful mellow chocolate finish with each sip. This is one of the best spots in town no doubt & deserves your business.

I was so excited to try Iggys and we made a reservation well in advance. The service was super attentive and helpful when ordering. The interior was very nice and low lighting made it perfect for a date night. But I was just not impressed at all with the food. The prices were outrageous and the food was subpar. The garlic bread had barely any flavor and it was like a sponge. The spaghetti was way too lemony. The carbonara was like eating a spoonful of salt. It was so hard to eat more than a bite it was as if someone spilled the entire thing of salt in it. And lastly the gnocchi sauce was not very good to supplement the gnocchi. It was like a flavorless pasta cube. I personally wouldn't recommend but some people clearly love Iggys.

I had been wanting to go here forever but it just never worked out every time I had a reservation. Finally got the chance to go the other weekend. We absolutely loved it. We had 5 dishes but I only took photos of two as I forgot as the food was so good and I was just enjoying the experience. We had a truffle pasta, a butternut squash agnolotti, a gnocchi, the salad and the arancini. It was all fabulous. The service was also top notch. The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant felt like they knew their food was good and didn't need to hide behind overdone decor. This is the best pasta I have had in Nashville. It was worth the wait and loved up to the hype. I will definitely be back. Such a great experience!

I decided to try Iggys on a Wednesday prior to an event in WeHo . My friend loves this spot and I can totally see why. I dined solo on a Wednesday with a reservation which I strongly recommend. Iggys is a modern Italian restaurant known for its amazing pasta and garlic bread. I didn't try the bread but I did have a delicious seasonal heirloom tomato ricotta toast, Rigatoni Bolognese and a Singapore sling cocktail., All were great and I can honestly say the hype is real.,I can't wait to go back and try the garlic bread. Paid and street parking are available. Enjoy!

I absolutely love a shareables situation... especially for Italian food with fresh pasta I mean just go ahead and give me one of everything. The staff were so attentive and the food came out in perfectly timed intervals. I also loved the unique furniture and modern feel of the space. It had wonderful natural light even on a rainy day! What we ordered: To drink: -Brash Higgins "GR/M" Grenache McLaren Vale -White Russian To eat: -Iggy's Garlic Bread Village Bakery -Greener Roots Gem Salad -Spaghetti Aglio e Olio -Tonarelli -Little Shells -Rigatoni Bolognese Parking: Limited free street parking on Merritt Ave. and a pay to park lot (~$10 for 2 hours with 30 minutes free).

In my many visits to Nashville over the years, I never was able to dine at The Catbird Seat. So when I heard the Poli brothers, who were the beverage director and executive chef at Catbird, had opened Iggy's in 2023, it became a must-do on my recent Nashville visit. This 65-seat dining space is electric in the evening. The noise level on Friday demonstrated the diners were loving every minute experiencing the incredible house-made pastas and extensive European wine selection. Although I love pasta, I'm still not sure why the menu isn't more diverse. Maybe that will come in time. Let's just say, they prepare incredibly rich and authentic pastas. With four of us, we had enough diners for almost the entire pasta menu. The portions are not family style, but certainly are shareable. We started with the amazing Garlic Bread, which lived up to its advanced billing on Yelp. The whipped cream cheese baked into slices of the bread, was incredible. Next up was the Lemon Herb Arancini, which is a goat cheese fondue in a risotto ball. For the pasta, we ordered the Tonnarelli (with Massachusetts razor clams), Agnolotti (with shaved Summer truffles), the Radiatore alla Vodka Sauce (with Liuzzi burrata) and the classic Rigatoni Bolognese (with Bear Creek Farm beef and pork). I'm not a cook, but I love to eat all kinds of pasta and understand its history and how it's made. Iggy's provided a fun way to experience many unique textures and flavors. We had a 6:30pm reservation and was told we'd have our table for two hours. We had finished our meal by 8pm and it was time for dessert. I can't think of the last time I dined at an upscale restaurant that used soft serve ice cream in two of their dessert offerings, but it worked well at Iggy's. The Strawberry Shortcake was the table favorite and the Vanilla & Coffee Twist was tasty, but just didn't bring the wow of the shortcake. I wasn't aware of the chef's table when I made my reservation, but it would be a cool vantage point if you want to feel like you're part of the crew making your dinner. The craft cocktail line-up is super delicious. Our table loved the Rosas are Red Spritz and the Mexican Firing Squad. Do check them out! It's important to note that Iggy's clearly states on its menu and it's reinforced by the server, that checks include an automatic 20% gratuity that is shared by all staff. Abby, our server, knew the menu cold and was friendly to work with.

spectacular experience here! came here with a few friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. we were seated in a semi-private area of the restaurant which was a perfect place for our group, and we had a custom menu which allowed us to taste many of the dishes: - First Course -- Garlic Bread - probably one of my favorite dishes of the night. such a unique way to serve garlic bread and just so delicious. would come back to Iggy's just to have more of this -- Greener Roots Gem Lettuce - super fresh, not overly dressed and well balanced with almonds, cheese, and apples -- Arancini - tasty, but nothing special, would probably skip next time - Second Course -- Butternut Squash Tortellini - my favorite of the 4 pastas, just perfect for the fall season -- Germelli Carbonara - probably my least favorite of the pastas as it seemed to be missing a bit of kick, though the bacon almost made up for it -- Radiatore alla Vodka Sauce - another great dish, well loved by many of my dinner mates -- Rigatoni Bolognese - my second favorite pasta. had lots of meat that seemed to coat every aspect of the rigatoni. so good - Dessert -- Vanilla and Coffee Twist - after eating all the apps and pasta, I barely had room for this, but omg was this so good. the coffee ice cream was so smooth and delicious and perfect with the soft brownie on the bottom. if I hadn't been so full, I would have eaten 3 more of these The staff was super attentive and nice which definitely added to the experience! Loved my dinner here and I will be back very soon!

Incredible, freshly made Italian. They make their pasta with flour imported directly from Italy! My boyfriend and I split the Garlic Bread, bolognese and the lobster pasta, as well as a tiramisu cup and all of it was top tier. Wish we live closer to this place!

Iggy's was top of my list for so long. We finally went for my birthday this year! Everything was sooo amazing. Each dish was curated specifically for what it is- each dish is unique. I started by ordering a whiskey sour- I was hoping this would come in a coupe, but it came in a regular cocktail glass. We started with the scallop crudo- just wow. The scallops were so tender and not overly fishy. They were laid on top of a beautiful coconutty sauce. For the pastas we got a truffle and cheese stuffed pasta, the garlic and olive oil pasta, and the crab little shells. The garlic and olive oil pasta was good, however with the other options next time I would opt to get the stronger flavor profile pastas. The truffle pasta was amazing. They did not skimp on the truffle- it was in the sauce, in the pasta, and freshly shaved on top. Crab is my top favorite food. The little shells pasta was unbelievable. I mean, if you even slightly like crab you should order this. Unfortunately we were too full to order dessert. I cant wait to come back to Igyys!!

While on vacation in Nashville, my daughter and I made reservations for Iggy's. I wasn't sure I'd need reservations on a Thursday night, but I'm glad I made one because they were quite busy. We sat at the counter facing the chefs kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them plate the various menu items. Our server recommended sharing several small items. We started with the garlic bread, it was delicious and uniquely prepared. We followed that with the Greener roots salad, it was beautifully prepared very mild tasting ingredients. For our entrees, we shared the butternut tortellini, the Little Shells, and the Rigatoni Bolognese. I was most excited to try the Butternut tortellini, but the Rigatoni Bolognese stole the show. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant except the noise level. I had a really hard time hearing our waitress and my daughter who was seated right beside me.

Our server was Matt and he was part of the reason why our dinner was so excellent. He was super attentive without being a nuisance. He kept the drinks flowing, timed out our food perfectly and had excellent meal suggestions. Our meal: 1. Garlic Bread with Red Sauce - the bread was thickly sliced and grilled, so it was crunchy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. It was super buttery and something I would eat every day of my life. 2. Pelato Salad - all of us loved this salad. I think it was the oregano vinaigrette that really made the salad a star. You usually don't hear someone rave about a salad, but this one was a must-order. 3. Burnt Broccolini - again, all of us loved this. The broccolini may have been my favorite thing I ate. It was perfectly charred and had the most delicious dressing over it. 4. Crispy Garlic Potatoes - good. Hot and crispy but a basic potato. 5. Creamy Polenta & Bolognese Sauce - not what I was expecting at all. It was really flat and covered in broiled cheese. I tasted more Parm than I did anything else. 6. Chicken Parmigiana - really good. Crispy chicken, lots of sauce. 7. Campanelle Limone - for all of us, this was our least favorite dish. I was expecting to taste lemon, but the creamy sauce was too lemony. I would not order that again. 8. Radiatori Vodka - ending on a high note. This was delicious. Who doesn't love a vodka sauce? They recommend 2-3 dishes per person. I think if the four of us had ordered more than 8 total, I would have died. We were all so full that we could not even look at a dessert menu. I will definitely go back to Pelato. Next time, I'm going to try the stuffed mushrooms and the meatballs!

There are a couple of servers taking care of all of the tables once the orders are ready, so it feels like the restaurant is trying to get away with paying less people. I ordered the nonna paula, added pancetta to it, and made it spicy. The sauce was absolutely incredible. It was smooth, nutty, and creamy, and the house-made pasta was cooked perfectly. The 3 of us split an app, a small pasta and each ordered our own focaccia, and we were stuffed!! Our server was super sweet, informative, and timely. The ambience is a good vibe for a date night or a girls night. They also have bar seats, which is nice. Definitely recommend!

And St. Vito Focacceria more than fit the bill! We loved Chef Michael Hanna's version of Sicilian style pizza, "sfincione". Think sourdough focaccia with fontina, topped with pecorino and breadcrumbs. We chose a fantastic Pepperoni version with Ezzo Pepperoni Cups and Saffron Honey. Our small plates were all excellent too. We started off with a Focaccia with Oregano, Garlic, Pollen and a side of Ricotta with Pistachio & Parsley. Next up, we loved the Artichokes with Lemon, Olive Oil, and Mint. And don't miss the fabulous Tiramisu for dessert. We sat at the counter of the stylish, long and narrow spot, and enjoyed watching all the open-kitchen proceedings, and chatting with the warm staff and Chef Hanna himself as well. By the time we were finished our dinner, it was clear why St. Vito earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 2025. Definitely add it to your Nashville Dining "Must Do" List!
