It was very noisy and made it difficult to have a conversation across the table. Service - our server was very pleasant, but service was extremely slow. In fact bar service was ridiculously slow. Food - I ordered the filet mignon which was recommended by our server. It was cooked to the temperature requested. It was not as tender as I had hoped, but it tasted good. Since we were just visiting the area, and unfamiliar, we had a hard time finding this restaurant. When we finally found it, I was shocked how big it was. It may be the biggest restaurant I have ever seen. We were seated promptly for our 6:30 reservation at a high top near the bar which was good because all the larger groups are at low tops in another area and it would have been too loud for conversation. The atmosphere is really nice and everything felt clean and fresh. The bar is huge!!! Our server quickly came and took our drink order and we ordered the burrata appetizer. It took over 10 minutes for drinks to arrive which seemed very long based on the amount of patrons. My martini was good. It was probably another 10 minutes when the appetizer arrived so we figured we better order our entree. I opted for the salmon. The burrata was excellent. The toasted bread and the creamy burrata with the tomatoes and pesto were perfect. There is an amazing wine selection so I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc. There are 4 different sizes from which to choose. I thought the wine prices were a bit high, but we are in a tourist area. My wine arrived timely, but we waited a really long time for our entrees. They arrived looking great, but my first bite of salmon was barely even warm and I found two bones. I REALLY like hot food, so this was such a disappointment. Salmon is one of the few fish I eat and I have never ever found bones. The salmon was tasty and whatever the salmon was sitting on was good too. Our server came by to check on us and we told her that both dishes were barely warm. Minutes later the manager showed up and apologized and wanted to comp our entrees. We told her it wasn't necessary but the kitchen should be alerted. She ended up comping us anyway. For dessert we had a pineapple coffee cake? which was tasty. I loved the atmosphere and our server was fantastic and I feel bad I don't remember her name. She gave us insight into some of the appetizers and entrees which was helpful. I have to admit the wait times were longer than I prefer. We were there over 2 hours. Special thanks to the manager for taking care of us. We used to own an ice cream store and unless somebody told us what was wrong, we couldn't fix it, so we do like to help out businesses when we can. read more

We decided to try this place during a recent anniversary trip to Nashville and so glad we did. The atmosphere is very spacious and elegant while also being relaxed. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. The wine and alcohol menu is extensive and the food was next level. I got probably the best pork chop I have ever had in my life. Had 2 business meetings here and had an excellent lunch. Had an appetizer with shrimp and a burrata. Both were excellent. Excellent salads and sandwiches. Everyone was happy. There are restaurants where the food is good, and then there are restaurants where you start planning what you're going to order the next time before the check even arrives. Sixty Vines falls into that second category. The first thing that grabbed us was the atmosphere. A great bar, creative cocktails, a fun wine list, and a vibe that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. We started with the beet salad, and wow, those beets were the star of the show. Fresh, perfectly ripe, seasoned beautifully, and every bite had a little pop of flavor. Next came the fig, prosciutto, and arugula pizza. The crust was light and crisp and the combination worked really well. I'll admit, I wouldn't have complained if they had been a little more generous with the figs and prosciutto, but it was still a delicious pizza. We paired everything with a Pinot, which ended up being exactly the right choice for the meal. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Five stars and we'll absolutely be back. read more

I've been coming to Sixty Vines a lot recently and it's become one of my favorite places to bring people visiting town. The drinks are always great, especially the frozen espresso and the espresso martinis. The salted foam on top of the espresso martini is such a good touch, and I love that the drinks aren't overly sweet. The food has been great too. All of the pizzas are delicious, and the French fry potato stacks with the amazing sauce are a must try. Unfortunately, they were sold out the last time we came, so I'll definitely be back for those. The salads were good, but I do think the portions are a little small for the price. The service is always great, and it's a perfect spot for larger groups. I've been with groups of five or six people both times and it's worked out really well. I would definitely recommend Sixty Vines as a great place to stop for dinner before going out on Broadway. read more

On our second (and last) full day in Nashville, we went to Sixty Vines for dinner. We like to go to at least one "nice" restaurant for dinner while travelling, and we chose Sixty Vines because it had gluten free options. Also, it was conveniently located a short walk from our hotel, within the Assembly Food Hall, near the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. My sister had the Filet Mignon (charred broccolini, cipollini onions, bacon-dijon vinaigrette, black pepper soubise), and I had the Atlantic Salmon (shaved Brussels sprouts, shallot, braised peppers, smoked paprika vinaigrette) with a side of carrots (roasted tri-color carrots, sage brown butter, dill). I also had a small charcuterie board (gouda, pita, almonds, and honey) as a starter, and we shared a cheesecake for dessert. This is just such a reliable spot for me in Nashville. I have been here for multiple work dinners, a fun brunch or two, and some happy hour apps with friends. It's upstairs in the Assembly Food Hall and has a really nice patio as well as indoor seating. There's also a sneaky little upstairs spot inside for private parties (cool view and I have one of the pictures posted on this review). It's just a pretty restaurant and I'm always happy when I'm here. The food is always good - everything is hot or cold as it should be. There's a vast variety of options depending on what you are looking for, and a lot of it is great to share with a table of friends. Sixty Vines is located atop Assembly Food Hall in the heart of Broadway, but it's so light, open and calm, you'll almost forget you're downtown. You can be seated inside or outside for al fresco dining if you prefer. I did manage to snag a small table with my husband without a reservation on a Tuesday before a Predators game, but I would recommend making a reservation for groups larger than two. Our server was attentive and quick/mindful of the time we had before the game started. I am a carnivore through and through but 3/4 small plates we ordered were meatless and I would highly recommend each of these bites to my vegetarian friends! My favorite tapas of the night included the house made ricotta with honeycomb and the whipped eggplant + chili oil paired with charred cauliflower and pita. This place came highly recommended because of the food, ambiance, and location but it did not live up to the hype at all. The poor experience began at the hostess stand where the hostess had a terrible attitude and seemed so unwilling to let us know if our table was available or not. Once we were sat, the waiter had the same lackluster attitude as the hostess and was extremely unhelpful and brought out the food for everyone at the table at different times. We had questions about the menu but his answers so so vague, nonchalant, and genuinely unhelpful. The poor experience continued when the food came out. We paid as the food came out because we were in a hurry but I wish we hadn't because I would've asked for things to be removed from the bill. The steak with the steak frites was extremely mushy, I have never had a steak that bad, even at chain steak houses. The zucchini was oily, the chicken and caviar was unseasoned and tasted like a ballpark chicken tender with five pieces of caviar ontop of melted crème fraiche. Their burrata is really good as is their bacon and shrimp flatbread. They also do solid charcuterie. Sixty Vines in Nashville was an overall great experience from start to finish. You will find it up on the third floor of the food hall area, so be ready for a little bit of a walk, but it is worth it once you get there. We were seated in the glass exterior dining area, which ended up being really nice and quaint. The noise level was just right. Not too loud and not too quiet, so you can actually enjoy a conversation without yelling or whispering. For food, we ordered the Brussels, the Wood Grill Bavette Steak, and the Campanelle. All three were excellent. Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly, and it really felt like each dish was well thought out, not just thrown together. We also decided to try a couple of their cocktails and went with the Gingersnap Old Fashion and the Winter Spice Margarita. Both were fun, seasonal twists on the classics and they did not disappoint at all. To finish things off, we shared the sticky toffee cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. What an amazing place to eat. We started with the Tuna appetizer, I seriously thought it was steak, seasoned and cooked perfect, the pineapple/cucumber/wasabi combo was out of this world good. I had reservations about ordering a burger from a nice restaurant, but the server pretty much sold it as soon as I said I was thinking about it. Holy cow was it fantastic. I'm 52, had a lot of burgers in my life, this one was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! The ingredients we all present, I could taste every layer that built this culinary delight. And the only mess was the everything seasoning on the burger, which wasn't bad at all. If you're thinking about the burger...GET IT! Hope this helps. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they ask about allergies. I have a gluten allergy and there was plenty on the menu for me. I would up getting the filet mignon. I asked for medium well but it was a little more on the well side however still fairly tender and the flavor was delicious!!! It was so tasty I didn't even care how it was cooked. After hearing several recommendations, we decided to stop by this evening, and unfortunately, the experience was a major disappointment. We didn't have a reservation, so when the hostess offered us the choice of sitting at the bar or waiting 15-20 minutes for an outdoor table, we were happy to wait--especially since we were hoping to catch the sunset. We gave our number and waited. And waited. At 25 minutes, my husband checked in and was told we'd be next. Great! But another 35 minutes went by, and we were still waiting. We completely understand that it's a Friday night and that waits happen. What was frustrating was the lack of communication. When we finally approached the hostess stand again, we were told they had been looking for us. We never received a text, never heard our name called, and had been sitting right next to the hostess stand the entire time. The response was essentially, "I must be blind. We'll find something for you soon." I'm sure having a reservation would have made things easier, and I understand that walk-ins may have to wait. But after more than an hour of waiting, with no communication and no clear explanation, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. What a fantastic experience! My colleagues and I dined here for dinner one night when visiting Nashville for a conference. The restaurant is classy and the ambiance is beautiful.
