I was visiting Nashville and this was the first time I've ever been. I'm sad that I went on my last day because I loved it and probably would've eaten there more than once on my trip. The restaurant itself is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was busy I felt like the service was still pretty good. I sat at the bar that was half outside. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they ask about allergies. I have a gluten allergy and there was plenty on the menu for me. I would up getting the filet mignon. I asked for medium well but it was a little more on the well side however still fairly tender and the flavor was delicious!!! It was so tasty I didn't even care how it was cooked. I ate the whole meal and would've licked the plate if it was socially acceptable. I was very impressed with this place and can't wait to come back and visit.

Our second visit wasn't on par with our first. The service was good, he was covering a lot of tables but was as attentive as we believed he could be. The restaurant was crowded as typical. We had a party of 9. The food took a while to arrive. The boards are good. The margarita pizza was lukewarm. Two of our guests did not enjoy their meals, the salmon and one of the pasta dishes were not well-prepared. Of course, this is a high production kitchen and things happen, but for the price, the quality should be better. Tonight, 2 glasses of wine, a small meat and cheese board and a pizza, with a 22% tip, $127.

These truffled vineyard fries were out of this world! Every dish I've gotten from here has been spectacular with tons of flavor and great portion sizes. I love how unique their menu is from pasta to proteins to fun desserts. In terms of service, they're quick to get your order in and bring the food out but I've gone multiple times and it takes a while to get the check, I had to flag down a waiter a few different times so it makes me not want to go back Espeically if you're in a hurry. If you have some time though this place is great, just be prepared to wait!

What a fantastic experience! My colleagues and I dined here for dinner one night when visiting Nashville for a conference. The restaurant is classy and the ambiance is beautiful. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. They have 60 wines on tap and the prosecco was my favorite. All of the appetizers we ordered were delicious, but my favorite was the Brussel sprouts. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere.

Came in on a Saturday evening. Thought the food was good but nothing terribly special. I ordered the filet and instead of a whole filet it seemed like I was just brought 5-6 sliced bites of filet. The mussels were a little spicy but good. My husband got the Cabernet burger and said it was fine. To be honest I probably won't come back. Nothing was bad I just wasn't impressed by any of it. The vibe in there is bright and airy. Probably not the place for a moody dinner but great vibes for brunch.

Initial Reaction: They are known throughout their locations for their wine flights while delivering solid tapas, pizzas, and other Italian-inspired dishes. Their burrata is really good as is their bacon and shrimp flatbread. They also do solid charcuterie. The burnt basque cheesecake was alright, gluten-free so my wife could enjoy it, but it didn't compare to what we had in Borough's Market in London. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our server was lovely and made us feel at home in the rooftop atrium location in downtown Nashville. It was a fun experience at Sixty Vines in Nashville.

Want something fun this winter? Book an igloo at Sixty Vines in Nashville! Equipped with pillows, blankets, a heater, and even music! Located outside on the patio you have a clear view of the Batman Building! As for food, I would recommend the sausage pizza or filet with a glass of wine. Great service, cozy setting, fun experience!

Took a girls trip to Nashville and Sixty Vines was our favorite place to dine during our entire trip. Open space and beautiful. Menu had great options and our selections were all delightful. Great variety of wines to choose from for wine flights. Highly recommend when visiting the area.

Sixty Vines in Nashville was an overall great experience from start to finish. You will find it up on the third floor of the food hall area, so be ready for a little bit of a walk, but it is worth it once you get there. We were seated in the glass exterior dining area, which ended up being really nice and quaint. The noise level was just right. Not too loud and not too quiet, so you can actually enjoy a conversation without yelling or whispering. For food, we ordered the Brussels, the Wood Grill Bavette Steak, and the Campanelle. All three were excellent. Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly, and it really felt like each dish was well thought out, not just thrown together. We also decided to try a couple of their cocktails and went with the Gingersnap Old Fashion and the Winter Spice Margarita. Both were fun, seasonal twists on the classics and they did not disappoint at all. To finish things off, we shared the sticky toffee cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Rich, warm, and just really satisfying. All in all, Sixty Vines delivered on food, drinks, and atmosphere. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful night out in Nashville for our first day on a business trip. Sixty vine offers both classy and casual dining. Presentation and ambience bring the feeling of a high end restaurant. But the music, crowd, vibe, and friendly staff gives is a fun, casual, and laid back feeling. Food was excellent I got the pork chop and finished the whole plate. Cooked perfection. And the veggie side complimented well. Sixty Vibe is definitely bookmarked in my Nashville collection.

Rooftop restaurant with some views of the surrounding architecture -- if you're looking for a downtown Nashville view, this isn't the place. We came here before a show at the Ryman and it was perfect. It's literally 60 seconds away. But if you're looking for a lot of seating, great service and astonishingly-low prices for a Nashville restaurant, this might be your spot. For entrees: The pesto pasta stole the show and I regret not getting it. Even the parpardelle was very good, as was the pizza. My favorite appetizers were the tri tips and then the bacon-wrapped dates. The dates were savory, yet delicate. I will try some other Nashville restaurants before I make my way back here, but for anyone who is considering coming here for the first time, I would definitely recommend it.

It's a great wine bar with an amazing selection of natural wines, delicious food, the best service, and an amazing ambiance. What's not to like? Sauced works a little bit differently than a lot of wine bars. We walked in and were welcomed right away. When we grabbed seats at the bar (there are also tables), our bartender (I feel terrible that I'm not 100% sure of his name since we had such a great time with him - but I'm pretty sure it was John) asked us about wines we like or are drawn to. They don't have a printed menu - they ask you what you like or are in the mood for and then they they'll pour you tastes until you find something you love. Then they have several fridges of bottles you can purchase and open. And their selection here is also great. We saw bottles by several winemakers we stalk (when we see, we usually buy). The wines our bartender recommended (based on our tastes and preferences) were great, too. They also have a great menu of food items - great for a meal or a snack. We ordered their mortadella sandwich, which will likely go down as one of my favorite sandwiches of the year (great bread, tons of mortadella, pistachio cream, gooey melted cheese)... I think I covered this already, but the service was excellent: attentive (we didn't have empty glasses for long at all before we were involved in a conversion about what we wanted to pour next), friendly, helpful... The bar itself is also great - tons of character: walls with smoke from candles, great lighting, little intimate nooks for seating... I had a great time at Sauced: great wine, great food, a great time. I'm not in Nashville as often as I should be (in laws), but I'd be happy to visit Sauced every time I'm in Nashville. Sauced might be an outpost of a Brooklyn wine bar, but Nashville is still so lucky to have it. Most cities don't have a wine bar as great as Sauced.

While I enjoy getting to talk to the bartender about what I like or may want to try, if they're busy, I don't want to just spend all of our time asking them the price of things. We definitely had a little sticker shock at the end of the night, but this was also my first time here so that could be something I just wasn't expecting! Aside from that, the service and wines were great. So while it isn't somewhere I see myself putting in my weekly rotation, it's a nice option for a special occasion or nicer evening.

Since it is the only one in Nashville, much less TN, it's a stand alone to me and quite good. Twelve South has a very active eating culture with many favorites. Parking is challenging but the walks aren't too aweful. Postino's brunch is much better than the well known one down the street. The atmosphere is open and relaxed, not crammed. The outdoor seating looks great but not on the chilly day we were here. Reservations are recommended on the weekend and we had them but they wouldn't have been necessary before noon. We were seated by our server upon our arrival. The wine list covers a wide range of flavors but isn't very deep. The full bar can conjure anything. Kyle came back serveral times to get multiple orders. Menu items are closer to tapas to be enjoyed while drinking, so Postino's might not be your number 1 dining location but great for a gather place or pre-dinner cocktail. We popped around the menu trying different things. For us, the bruschetta is reminiscent of smorrebrod, Danish open-faced sandwiches. Those are a hit with us. Everything felt house made with carefully thought out flavors. Tops was the salmon pesto bruschetta and the vanilla glaze dipping sauce for the donut bites. By the way, excellent preparation of the eggs. With its central location, this is a great place for us to gather and talk.

Despite the hotel setting, it feels a bit more 'for the locals' than lower Broad does these days. So whether you are entertaining out of town guests or want to have drinks Downtown, this just might be the spot you're looking for. I had something to celebrate and I wanted to do so in style. It was mid-spring and the weather was perfect so I wanted to take advantage of the short window. I took a ride share to the hotel bc ain't no one got time for Downtown parking rates and bee-lined it to the Lou/Na elevator at the back of the lobby. Once I hit the rooftop, my Friday night began. The atmosphere is every bit as dark, moody (in a good way) and smartly-illuminated as expected. Since I was here for views and good weather, I asked the hostess for an outdoor table. She obliged and I was soon perched along the edge of the roof, staring into the twinkling lights of our ever-expanding skyline. It was well-past the dinner hour and I was craving something sweet. After chatting with my helpful server, I decided on the creme brulee and an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The brulee had a perfect crust and delectable custard that paired well with the martini that veered closer to dry than sweet. I appreciated that. It showed effort went into making the cocktail. I was in my own head so I minded my business and didn't do too much people watching. Despite the time of year and good weather, the roof wasn't too packed. It wasn't empty but it wasn't bustling. That was fine by me but I'm sure the management would disagree. I would point out that Lou/Na has gotten even more popular since when I visited so I'm confident that the crowd on good weather nights has increased. If that's your thing, head over on a Friday. If not, check it out during the week. But if well-made cocktails in a beautiful environment outside the madness of Lower Broad but still Downtown is on your radar, you know where you need to go and what to do. Lou/Na should be in your rotation.

The curse of Rumours continues!…read more I don't know that any business can survive this address. My first BW review of the year and it seems to have come as a surprise. Whispers abound as to whether the issue at VG was a rent hike or whether the owner just lost interest. In any event, it's the same sad story at the corner of 12th and Woodland. And that's too bad because VG acquitted itself nicely. On a Friday in mid-spring it was the exact right place I wanted to be to catch up with a friend. That backyard has been the stuff of legends for every iteration for a reason. If you've been here for a while, you know the score: walk in the front, smile, be greeted, ask for a table outside. That's just what we did. But before that we got drinks. Being a wine bar and being happy hour and being a Friday we went all in on the house red sangria. Served in a pleasantly large goblet, this goodie jar of wine and fruit did the job of quenching thirst and spurring conversation. To add to the libations, we settled on a series of bites: whipped feta (with sourdough -- and every bit of decadent as described in other reviews), olive tapenade (a briny, mound of oil, citrus and herbs) and (skinny) fries with parmesan & white truffle oil. Right?? What a perfect way to end the work week and begin the weekend. We had wonderful service from Abby and stayed on premises well into sundown. There was a steady crowd throughout our visit so I don't think a lack of business was the COD. Whatever the reason, it sort of boggles the mind that a wine bar concept can't stick around in a neighborhood and location that seems to crave it. That curse might be real.

A friend and I stopped by around 4 PM on a Thursday evening to take advantage of their "Golden Hour" specials. There's a good amount of space to spread out if you have a bigger group, but we just grabbed a few seats at the bar. The owner, Taylor, was also tending the bar during our visit, and he walked us through the concept while also providing thoughtful wine recommendations. We both started with a glass of crisp and cold prosecco, and then switched over to try Vino Volta, which kind of tasted like a good craft beer's bubbly cousin. They even have a few light bites on their menu if you need something to snack on - but since they're located in L&L Market, there's plenty of other food options nearby as well! This is a special place to sit and sip on high quality, curated wines with good company, and I'm confident I'll be back again soon.

Prices for a glass of wine are reasonable as is (I mean, where can you expect to spend less than 14/glass in most cities these days, no less Nashville?), but the Golden Hour is the luxardo cherry on top. We sat at the bar for some late afternoon spritzes and enjoyed speaking with the very knowledgeable owner. His version of a Hugo Spritz is literal perfection.

Originally when I heard about this place I thought hmmm why would I go to a ~just~ a bread place? I thought, Im a girl who likes to eat I need more. Well, this place was suggested by a friend to catch up. I completely miss judged butterlamp- of course, I should've known to give it a try. Located at the back of the building you can enter through going around back or walking through the building. Its a small place, but they have tables and bar seating. The wine menu is glorious. So much to choose from. I like how you order at the bar because it gives you a chance to see what everyone else is drinking as they keep the open bottles up front. I asked the staff what I should order based on wanting a chilled red. They gave me tow options. I chose a Nebbiolo and loved it! We ordered two "bread with stuff". We got the pumpkin and the french onion. Both were amazing! We went at 2 pm so it was the perfect snack. They did have a fairly diverse menu. Music was upbeat and chill and at the perfect volume to have an enjoyable conversation. They also sell loaves of bread to go, which of course we got.

I now know what a jaffle is and can tell you it's a toasted sandwich that you should definitely try. We sat inside since it was a bit chilly but would love to come back again and share some wine and small plates on the patio.

The Authentique truly feels like a little piece of France tucked into East Nashville. The décor, the vibe, hearing so many different languages around us, it honestly felt like being back in Europe. They have one of the most impressive wine lists I've seen in the city, and if you're indecisive like me, the wine flights are the way to go. We did the Tour de France flight, my husband went with the whites, I did the reds, and everything was incredible. The Beaujolais, Pinot Noir, Chards (yes, because we of course shared haha)... just wow. We paired it all with steak tartare (yes, they have French bites too!), plus they offer charcuterie boards, crepes, and more. Definitely coming back for those. Bonus: every Tuesday they host wine tastings at the bar led by their sommelier, each week with a different theme, mostly French and other European wines. tickets can be purchased in their website Huge thank you to Alexander for walking us through the whole concept. We finished the night with a beautiful Blanc de Blanc to toast our anniversary. What a gem in Nashville, can't wait to be back.

We're getting married in Italy so we specifically were interested in the Italian themed tasting, but they do different themes every Tuesday and the owner Alex seems just as enthusiastic about French, Italian, and just any wine really. We ordered the raclette charcuterie board (for 2) which was a special, and it was so fun! You get to melt the cheese right in front of you, and eat at your own pace. And OBVIOUSLY we had to end the night with a Nutella banana crepe, which is the lightest, tastiest thing to ever grace your lips.
