We came here before CMA Fest and it was a great dinner spot before heading to Broadway. The drinks were fabulous, especially the frozen espresso martinis--they were the highlight of the meal. The restaurant was also nice and cool inside, which was much appreciated during the Nashville summer heat. The food was good, but the salad portions felt a bit small for the price. It may have just been an especially busy night, but that was our only disappointment. Overall, it's a fun spot with great drinks and a lively atmosphere, and we'd definitely come back for cocktails before a night out downtown.

There are restaurants where the food is good, and then there are restaurants where you start planning what you're going to order the next time before the check even arrives. Sixty Vines falls into that second category. The first thing that grabbed us was the atmosphere. A great bar, creative cocktails, a fun wine list, and a vibe that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. We started with the beet salad, and wow, those beets were the star of the show. Fresh, perfectly ripe, seasoned beautifully, and every bite had a little pop of flavor. Next came the fig, prosciutto, and arugula pizza. The crust was light and crisp and the combination worked really well. I'll admit, I wouldn't have complained if they had been a little more generous with the figs and prosciutto, but it was still a delicious pizza. We paired everything with a Pinot, which ended up being exactly the right choice for the meal. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Five stars and we'll absolutely be back.

Slipstream cocktail (Hendrick's Gin, Lillet Blanc, Dolin Dry, orange bitters, cucumber ribbon).

On our second (and last) full day in Nashville, we went to Sixty Vines for dinner. We like to go to at least one "nice" restaurant for dinner while travelling, and we chose Sixty Vines because it had gluten free options. Also, it was conveniently located a short walk from our hotel, within the Assembly Food Hall, near the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. My sister had the Filet Mignon (charred broccolini, cipollini onions, bacon-dijon vinaigrette, black pepper soubise), and I had the Atlantic Salmon (shaved Brussels sprouts, shallot, braised peppers, smoked paprika vinaigrette) with a side of carrots (roasted tri-color carrots, sage brown butter, dill). I also had a small charcuterie board (gouda, pita, almonds, and honey) as a starter, and we shared a cheesecake for dessert. While I didn't love the salmon (I didn't care too much for the flavour profile), I loved the carrots, and overall, I enjoyed my meal. Pricy, but worth the splurge. This is just such a reliable spot for me in Nashville. I have been here for multiple work dinners, a fun brunch or two, and some happy hour apps with friends. It's upstairs in the Assembly Food Hall and has a really nice patio as well as indoor seating. There's also a sneaky little upstairs spot inside for private parties (cool view and I have one of the pictures posted on this review). It's just a pretty restaurant and I'm always happy when I'm here. The food is always good - everything is hot or cold as it should be. There's a vast variety of options depending on what you are looking for, and a lot of it is great to share with a table of friends. I love the cocktails here, but the wine is always amazing and a safe bet. Servers will take great care of you and you'll be enjoying every minute.

Really cute wine bar with great food. The service was quick and friendly. Is a great place for groups but hard to get reservations I wish I got dinner here but didn't have reservations. The salad was good. Would recommend for anyone visiting

Such a great spot for wine and small plates. We sat at the bar, which felt like the perfect experience. Tons of great wine on draft, we opted to do flights and loved that option. Food was good, as well. Highly recommend the Chicken & Caviar especially if you are gluten free! Delicious, lemony and surprisingly light. I would skip the fried zucchini on the next trip - it quickly got soggy and desperately needed a dip/sauce. The tuna crudo was good, also! To end our lunch, we got the frozen espresso martini which might just be one of the best sips in the city!

Really neat spot with really good options. We went for bunch and it was a really good time. The server was very helpful with any allergies that we had and was very attentive. Definitely a good spot for a Nashville start to the day.

Sixty Vines is located atop Assembly Food Hall in the heart of Broadway, but it's so light, open and calm, you'll almost forget you're downtown. You can be seated inside or outside for al fresco dining if you prefer. I did manage to snag a small table with my husband without a reservation on a Tuesday before a Predators game, but I would recommend making a reservation for groups larger than two. Our server was attentive and quick/mindful of the time we had before the game started. I am a carnivore through and through but 3/4 small plates we ordered were meatless and I would highly recommend each of these bites to my vegetarian friends! My favorite tapas of the night included the house made ricotta with honeycomb and the whipped eggplant + chili oil paired with charred cauliflower and pita. I'll have to come back to try some of the mains!

Great vibe inside, cozy lighting and candles. All staff were very kind and quick with bringing everything. Brussel sprouts were my favorite and burger was also excellent. Fries weren't the greatest but would definitely return again. Frozen rose was great.

I was visiting Nashville and this was the first time I've ever been. I'm sad that I went on my last day because I loved it and probably would've eaten there more than once on my trip. The restaurant itself is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was busy I felt like the service was still pretty good. I sat at the bar that was half outside. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they ask about allergies. I have a gluten allergy and there was plenty on the menu for me. I would up getting the filet mignon. I asked for medium well but it was a little more on the well side however still fairly tender and the flavor was delicious!!! It was so tasty I didn't even care how it was cooked. I ate the whole meal and would've licked the plate if it was socially acceptable. I was very impressed with this place and can't wait to come back and visit.

Waiter was super unenthusiastic, didn't even introduce himself. N/A bev selection was mid, rainbow trout entree was below average; however, tried the chicken pesto pasta which was very good

    Basque Cheesecake.
    Jeff N.

Initial Reaction: They are known throughout their locations for their wine flights while delivering solid tapas, pizzas, and other Italian-inspired dishes. Their burrata is really good as is their bacon and shrimp flatbread. They also do solid charcuterie. The burnt basque cheesecake was alright, gluten-free so my wife could enjoy it, but it didn't compare to what we had in Borough's Market in London. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our server was lovely and made us feel at home in the rooftop atrium location in downtown Nashville. It was a fun experience at Sixty Vines in Nashville.

    Are jeans appropriate?

Sure thing!!! Just know that you will likely see sparkles, too! 😃

Thinking of brunch there. Are there any mimosa specials?

I not sure but I can tell you that the cocktails are amazing. I like to concoct drinks and this place is amazing. They will do what ever you desire. Have fun.

Despite the hotel setting, it feels a bit more 'for the locals' than lower Broad does these days. So whether you are entertaining out of town guests or want to have drinks Downtown, this just might be the spot you're looking for. I had something to celebrate and I wanted to do so in style. It was mid-spring and the weather was perfect so I wanted to take advantage of the short window. I took a ride share to the hotel bc ain't no one got time for Downtown parking rates and bee-lined it to the Lou/Na elevator at the back of the lobby. Once I hit the rooftop, my Friday night began. The atmosphere is every bit as dark, moody (in a good way) and smartly-illuminated as expected. Since I was here for views and good weather, I asked the hostess for an outdoor table. She obliged and I was soon perched along the edge of the roof, staring into the twinkling lights of our ever-expanding skyline. It was well-past the dinner hour and I was craving something sweet. After chatting with my helpful server, I decided on the creme brulee and an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The brulee had a perfect crust and delectable custard that paired well with the martini that veered closer to dry than sweet. I appreciated that. It showed effort went into making the cocktail. I was in my own head so I minded my business and didn't do too much people watching. Despite the time of year and good weather, the roof wasn't too packed. It wasn't empty but it wasn't bustling. That was fine by me but I'm sure the management would disagree. I would point out that Lou/Na has gotten even more popular since when I visited so I'm confident that the crowd on good weather nights has increased. If that's your thing, head over on a Friday. If not, check it out during the week. But if well-made cocktails in a beautiful environment outside the madness of Lower Broad but still Downtown is on your radar, you know where you need to go and what to do. Lou/Na should be in your rotation.

The curse of Rumours continues!…read more I don't know that any business can survive this address. My first BW review of the year and it seems to have come as a surprise. Whispers abound as to whether the issue at VG was a rent hike or whether the owner just lost interest. In any event, it's the same sad story at the corner of 12th and Woodland. And that's too bad because VG acquitted itself nicely. On a Friday in mid-spring it was the exact right place I wanted to be to catch up with a friend. That backyard has been the stuff of legends for every iteration for a reason. If you've been here for a while, you know the score: walk in the front, smile, be greeted, ask for a table outside. That's just what we did. But before that we got drinks. Being a wine bar and being happy hour and being a Friday we went all in on the house red sangria. Served in a pleasantly large goblet, this goodie jar of wine and fruit did the job of quenching thirst and spurring conversation. To add to the libations, we settled on a series of bites: whipped feta (with sourdough -- and every bit of decadent as described in other reviews), olive tapenade (a briny, mound of oil, citrus and herbs) and (skinny) fries with parmesan & white truffle oil. Right?? What a perfect way to end the work week and begin the weekend. We had wonderful service from Abby and stayed on premises well into sundown. There was a steady crowd throughout our visit so I don't think a lack of business was the COD. Whatever the reason, it sort of boggles the mind that a wine bar concept can't stick around in a neighborhood and location that seems to crave it. That curse might be real.

This is a special place to sit and sip on high quality, curated wines with good company, and I'm confident I'll be back again soon.

The location is situated at the back of a large building with several other businesses. There was plenty of street parking in the area. Upon arriving, you can order at the counter or at the outdoor window. The inside is beautiful, and has a few small tables, in addition to several outdoor tables. Our group ordered several varieties of wine and bread, as well as the pork fat fries and the spinach dip. Since the menu rotates, I definitely plan to come back to try their other offerings! The lounge atmosphere is perfect for groups!

Originally when I heard about this place I thought hmmm why would I go to a ~just~ a bread place? I thought, Im a girl who likes to eat I need more. Well, this place was suggested by a friend to catch up. I completely miss judged butterlamp- of course, I should've known to give it a try. Located at the back of the building you can enter through going around back or walking through the building. Its a small place, but they have tables and bar seating. The wine menu is glorious. So much to choose from. I like how you order at the bar because it gives you a chance to see what everyone else is drinking as they keep the open bottles up front. I asked the staff what I should order based on wanting a chilled red. They gave me tow options. I chose a Nebbiolo and loved it! We ordered two "bread with stuff". We got the pumpkin and the french onion. Both were amazing! We went at 2 pm so it was the perfect snack. They did have a fairly diverse menu. Music was upbeat and chill and at the perfect volume to have an enjoyable conversation. They also sell loaves of bread to go, which of course we got.
