Service was really good. Bartender was super friendly. Food was great and portions were huge. Ambiance is wonderful. Decor was really nice too.

Risotto was not what you would expect, more grains. Tasty for a side dish.

Great restaurant for healthy options including GF and NF. The drinks are overpriced but good presentation. We dined early so only a few other people needed service. Our server was very attentive but I'm not sure how it would have been if busy. It is a small restaurant past the bar area in a hotel. Very nice atmosphere.

Came here for breakfast. The coffee is hot and the service is very friendly. We shared a chicken and waffle, which was amazing. A little bit spicy a little bit sweet and a lot a bit good. Also shared biscuits and gravy with eggs, amazing. Flavors were beyond delicious.

I enjoyed 1 Kitchen for lunch on two different occasions! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior and patio dining space is beautiful with a modern bohemian esthetic. Think high ceilings, neutral tones, and earthy finishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Matching the ambiance, the menu features a wide range of healthy farm to table dishes from fresh juices to grains and greens. It's worth noting that their lunch time menu is actually a brunch menu with a combination of more traditional breakfast items joined by more savory lunch type dishes all on one menu. I am personally not a fan of breakfast foods so I was relieved to see several salads, sandwiches and bowls available. During my two visits I tried the spicy carrot hummus bowl and the roasted beet salad, both with added salmon. Both dishes were fresh and filling. While the food was nourishing and satisfying, it did feel a bit expensive. Salads and bowls run about $20 plus or minus a few dollars but added salmon or shrimp adds an additional $12 or $15, respectively. This feels a little pricey for lunch.

My husband and I are in town from Phoenix to see "The Birth of the King." We found 1 Kitchen on Yelp and chose to eat here because it advertised farm to table dining which we love. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite attractive with a lot of attention to detail ....beautiful plants, cozy evening lighting and wooden elements.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter, Shreyas was absolutely outstanding! One of the best parts of the experience. He was warm, kind and attentive. He gave drink recommendations to accompany our food choices & meal selection recommendations. My husband ordered the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and the calamari. I ordered the mushroom ragu with beef and the roasted cauliflower. Everything was fabulous....by far our best meal in Nashville.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. I had a great burger. They had fantastic bread and butter pickles on the burger. Crisp lettuce and a form tomato. 10/10 I highly suggest you drop by. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lighting and music were on point![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great selection of booze in the bar of that's your thing.

Great vegetarian options here. We love everything we got. Cauliflower - spicy but tasty Squash and Burrata - a must get Brussel Sprouts- delish Sourdough - good but nothing extraordinary Pistachio lemon curd cake - perfectly sweet but not overly sweet.. a must get Servers were great. Ambiance- a cool vibe where you could go casual or dressed up and you wouldn't be out of place either way

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wow, this place is amazing! You'll wanna live here, the vibe is so great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved the food; it was one of the best meals we had in Nashville this trip. Everything was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The service is super nice and helpful. It's not super speedy, but it's not slow either, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the vibe with the low lights and everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's really well thought out, and you definitely have to check it out. It's just a short walk from the main stuff and the bars, so it's easy to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also liked that it's not right on the busy street. You step away a little, and you get some peace and quiet, which is awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was my first visit to 1 Kitchen, and I had high hopes--especially given the beautiful ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations . We ordered the shrimp à la plancha, Black Hawk beef teres major, burger, calamari, and Brussels sprouts. Of all the dishes, only the Brussels sprouts and burger were enjoyable. The rest of the food was either underseasoned or poorly cooked, which was disappointing considering our bill came to $250. On a positive note, our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and professional, which helped make the experience a bit more pleasant. Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning, as the food simply didn't justify the price.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot! Very earthy aesthetic and great for dietary restrictions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fried chicken is gluten free and it is fantastic. Juicy, crunchy, perfectly cooked and well spiced. I got the chicken and waffles and the whipped ricotta was a great pairing with it. My partner got the sandwich and fries and also really enjoyed it. Loved their lattes as well but not impressed with the cold brew. Service was good as well! Will definitely be back next time we are in Nashville, it was probably my favorite dish of the trip!

This restaurant is top notch. If you are visiting Nashville make sure you stop in to this restaurant. The decor is amazing and the ambiance is top notch. During breakfast they have a dj playing vinyl records never experienced a dj playing from vinyls. Our server Star was attentive and patient with us. We enjoyed our visit and everything tasted great. You will not be disappointed if you grab breakfast, lunch or dinner.

For starters, I tried the pork sausage dish with clams stuffed in a pepper. It was definitely an interesting and creative preparation and incredibly filling. It was good and I appreciated the flavors but would try a different starter next time! I really enjoyed the spaghetti. It tasted like summer on a plate - light, fresh, and bursting with bright tomato flavor. The sauce was simple but layered, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. Overall, an enjoyable meal and a space I'd love to come back to try other menu items....I have heard rave reviews about a corn pasta here and I'd like to try sitting in the interior dining section which had a cozy, inviting feel.

Instead, we spent a fair amount of time looking at the menu trying to figure out what actually appealed to us. And when the food arrived, I started to understand why. The food was good. There's no question about that. We enjoyed the chicken, but even there, I found myself thinking that there was just a little too much going on. A little more sauce. Another ingredient. A garnish. Something else for texture. Then something else for contrast. At some point, I start wondering if the chef is trying to make dinner or win a culinary scavenger hunt. I prefer my elegance with a little less. Sometimes the best way to elevate a great ingredient is to give it a little room to breathe. The menu felt somewhat limited, and the food didn't quite live up to the very high expectations created by the restaurant's reviews. Everything we had was good, but I didn't walk away thinking it was as exceptional as I had anticipated. Overall, four stars. Etch is clearly a talented kitchen with a lot of creativity. I just think they may be trying a little too hard. Sometimes less really is more, especially when the ingredients are good enough to stand on their own.

And it's a rare place that offers the elusive Chateaubriand steak. They even have four-pound loaded baked potatoes. And that's not to mention Nashville's most expensive dish, their signature $1,800 extravaganza for two including a tomahawk steak and a rare cognac. Harper's is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. The calamari is a highlight, a little salty for my taste but one of the best versions in town. The French onion soup is worth trying, its Havarti and Swiss combination beautifully finishing the top! We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this visit, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.
