Disappointed that I did not have the appetite this place deserved me to have!! Their marinara is so fresh and perfectly spiced. I could have stopped at the garlic bread and salad and have been happy. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente but the highlight of my meal was the tender, fall apart, really delicious meatballs that I will dream about and long for. Their expresso martini was served ice cold. The balance was off on it. I wasn't a fan. Service was good but getting the check at the end took too long because the bartender-also the server was busy making cocktails it got really busy at the tail end of our meal/stay. My sister, cousin and I went to dinner here this week. I thought it would be a nice place, seeing as how they have 4.5 starts. I was wrong. The atmosphere was weird, kinda sad looking. We had to move tables right off the bat- the table was so wobbly, it was about to spill our waters. We ordered the garlic bread, fried zucchini, salads, pasta and a couple of chicken dishes. One chicken dish was satisfying. The rest... weak. Drinks were bad too. While our server was sweet, they didn't really make the experience any better. We ended up all having upset stomachs the rest of the night and into the next day. I wouldn't recommend trying this restaurant. read more

New favorite Italian spot unlocked! Wow is all I have to say about the food and service here! When I think of authentic Italian, this menu is exactly what comes to mind. The restaurant is quaint and swanky. And nestled on a side street of downtown. There's a parking garage right next to it where we paid $20 to park. We started with the fried zucchini which came with ranch and marinara. DO NOT SKIP THIS APP! They were perfectly crisp and the marinara was so flavorful. I got the Castrioti salad with a homemade Italian dressing. I would have a hard time not getting this again! I also ordered a side of mushroom risotto, while it was delicious, my friend's Alfredo gnocchi was the star of the show! I would drive all the way back just for the gnocchi, I'm not kidding when I say it was the BEST tasting Alfredo sauce I've ever had! We will be back! read more

Made a last-minute reservation based off their reviews was very pleased with the food and the service. Write a four out of five because of the fried green tomatoes didn't have much taste, and the spaghetti with oil and garlic was a little lackluster as well. I'm not a fan of shaker Parmesan cheese so most restaurants get a demotion in points due to that. read more

We live, and ate in Cordova, Tn., although this says Nashville. Phenomenal food, ambiance and service, couldn't ask for more! I enjoyed fried ravioli (meat) as my appetizer and chicken parm as my main. My husband's was calamari as his appetizer and chicken for his main. All was absolutely spot on! We also enjoyed the atmosphere as well. It was our first time here, but it will NOT be our last. We have extremely high standards. I was celebrating my birthday with some friends and picked this place on a whim. It was absolutely delicious. We came on a Thursday night and the crowd was very light. They had live music that was just the right volume and super talented (they played The Chicken which is one of my favorite funk tunes). For apps, we ordered the meatballs, bread, and roasted red peppers - all delicious. Keep in mind the roasted red peppers are served cold. For the entree I had the Chicken Francese which was absolutely delicious, creamy, and filling. My side was the mushroom risotto, which compared with some of the chef-run restaurants I've been to. For dessert, I had the best Tiramisu I've had yet. I'm really sad that this place was so empty - it's absolutely delicious, and our group is already looking for an excuse to return. read more

Was recommended this for Italian food while in Nashville and it definitely didn't disappoint. Staff was very welcoming and Joey and Daniel made great recommendations for the meal. The chicken parm was one of the best I've ever had (and I lived just north of Albany, NY as a kid). The ambience was very relaxed, the food was excellent, and the drinks perfectly matched the meal. Great Night Out/Date Night restaurant just off Broadway in Nashville. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside and seating is comfortable. Love the funky monkey decor in the bathrooms. Waitstaff was kind, courteous and knew their stuff. We had a shrimp feast last night: Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Shrimp Oreganata and Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Randomly came here after a night out. Late stop for a late dinner. Even though it was at the end of their shift the staff was friendly. We got the combo toasted ravioli. Visiting Nashville, I was looking for a reasonable upscale restaurant, you know where the Chef is involved and cares about his dishes. I sat at the bar, met some awesome people and had a great meal, wine and a great time. While they apparently have a couple of locations in Tennessee, it does not feel or act like a chain. It's always difficult to find a place that you can take little kids to. It's such a gamble. This one worked out perfectly. Getting a reservation was no problem. Parking was quite simple. The menu was amazing. The pizza came out super quick for my kids. The chicken piccata was strong and lemony with really good capers that didn't taste like the typical jarred ones. The Alfredo pasta was flavorful and right. Salads were crisp and fresh. The background music singer was really good and not too loud. They accommodated our giant stroller. The seats were comfortable. The bathrooms are private, spotless and lock which is good for managing kids. Final bill was only like 100 dollars. We will absolutely be back. I want to try the chateaubriand streak which I don't see on many menus. I hope they get plenty of support since they're new. read more

Their chicken marsala was amazing - and per our server, Kayla, had it on top of some oil and garlic pasta - perfection - so tasty! I am mad... that you haven't tried this food yet. We were heckled on the sidewalk on our way to broadway- "come grab a slice" it was too early for a snack as we had already had a QT pretzel otw in (cinnamon sugar), but due to the friendliness and fun of the interaction on the corner, we decided that we needed to come back the next day. Meatballs are interesting as they have brisket in them- thought they were really good!! If you care anything about sauce, it has a really good flavor profile when paired.
