The vibe is cozy and cool, the service was great, the food was seasonal and very well prepared. We ordered the bread with seaweed butter and its simplicity and just good quality won our heart. I never miss a seasonal snap pea salad and it didn't disappoint. The main course was a seasonal fish, beautiful made with a light, delicious sauce and the pasta was one of the best I have had so far, will go again to try more pastas on the menu. The one star I am removing is for the dessert, I am so disappointed with that rhubarb cake, I really wished for a more interesting and delicate dessert. But overall- a great place and I shall go again!

Beautiful local food here. Every bite packs a flavor punch. Expensive meal. But one of the nicest meals I've experienced in Nashville. Staff is great, small restaurant with great ambience

Five star Chicken! 10/10 Everything else? Ok. Small plated dishes. One group is appetizer like starters, second group is pasta and last is your protein group. I enjoyed the rigatoni. I love an al dente pasta with a flavorful sauce. This one nailed it. The bread was my starter with the seaweed butter. The butter was divine! The bread could have been warmer to me. If it were, I would have eaten the whole loaf. Serviced by the bartender Ryan. I hope I got his name right! He's from the New York area? With a daughter. Super kind! Very knowledgeable! Really made the experience impressive and enjoyable. Thank you so much!!

This restaurant was a phenomenal experience. You can tell the staff love and are passionate about the mission of this restaurant. The food is a good mix of contemporary and classic cooking while following the local seasons. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to be back with friends!

Continues to impress with full service, even at the bar, and tastes and textures that really bring out the food, from the delicate seared crust on the Snapper which was moist and flavorful, to the light crunch topping on the Mafalde. And the Rhubarb Cake, is more than a slice of bread, with crème fraiche and lightly tangy citrus curds. And the first, but not the least is the Sourdough bread service with delicious seaweed butter.

The place is dark, cozy and pretty lively. Service here was standard, a couple of staff members seemed like they didn't want to be there but were still respectful. Recommendation was 2-3 plates per person depending on how hungry you are. I'm got three cause I was starving. Scallops - Scallops was raw with a citrus spicy sauce that reminded me of tom yum. I typically love scallops but these were not it. The scallops were more buttery in flavor which I think it's better if seared. If raw, better with a sweeter scallop. Tonnareli - A green pasta with mussels - I appreciate that they de-shelled it for me. The pasta was el dente. If you like pesto you would like this. Fuyu Perssimon Custard - You need to order this! It is not overly sweet and the custard was silky smooth. Overview: Get the dessert and stick with the pastas it is what they are known for. I may come back to give this place another chance and to try different dishes.

We live nearby, and for some reason we rarely eat here! It was great to be back and it reminded me that this is the type of place you could easily come to once a week, sit at the bar and have a drink, bowl of pasta, and be very happy! It's so cozy here in the winter. We did sit at the bar on this visit, and the service was great. We had the sourdough bread (great tang and texture), salad (fresh and tasty but nothing special to me), pasta with crab (delicious) and their signature chicken dish (I could eat this every day!) Pro-tip: save some of your bread for the addictive sauce from the chicken. It's sooo good. We also got some cocktails. I can't remember the name but mine was a spicy take on a margarita, and my husband had one that was reminiscent of a Negroni. Both were good but not the most unique cocktails I've ever had. I remember years ago being more impressed by their cocktails. 5 stars! Great service, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere.

Delicious pasta, amazing wine, and knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. I would say we left here full and happy. We ordered almost everything on the menu and love every item. I love a good bread and their sourdough is just as good as Brooklyn top spots. The pasta is fresh. Everything off the menu won't disappoint. The ambience is casual. If you are on a date, you can get a private corner. We were here for birthday and it was fun. The service is top.

Sourdough bread with seaweed butter + the taste of fall whiskey drink that will send you straight to October.

5/5 stars. Instantly made our top five in Nashville. The bar is a vibe, so if there are no tables do recommend choosing the bar. The bartenders were knowledgeable and so fun. The corn, jalapeño pasta (ravioli) will keep you coming back. The heritage pork is unbelievable. I cannot speak highly enough. The sourdough bread is made in house with the seaweed butter being everything you didn't know you needed. From a Nashville native who has been to a lot of restaurants over the years, this one is chefs kiss. Will keep coming back and recommending over and over.

We were able to do a walk-in for a weeknight dinner around 8pm. The interior is very warm and rustic. But we sat outside in their patio area which was nice and perfect for the warm Summer weather. Our server was very insightful and great throughout the entire meal. We only just went last week and based on their online menu, it looks like they rotate their appetizer section most likely due to availability and seasonality. The sourdough bread with seaweed butter was great. The butter was unique and added a slightly new and fun flavor. We got both a salad and melon appetizer which were good but not my favorites of the night. The pasta is what you come here for and we got the Tomato Vine Spaghetti, Rigatoni w/pork ragu, and the Tonnarelli with octopus. All 3 were great and I really enjoyed the tonnarelli. The lemon paired with the seafood pasta so great and was delicious. The pork ragu was hearty and deeply flavored. And the tomato vine spaghetti was simple, straightforward, and a classic mesh of flavors executed perfectly.

Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere and the service were absolutely wonderful. The food was out of this world! I'm dreaming of the chicken. You don't miss going here when you're in Nashville.

Homemade pasta is always a yes. The sourdough and seaweed butter is amazing perfect start. Some things were absolutely amazing, others an acquired taste. I personally liked the tuna appetizer but my husband, who doesn't like citrus, felt the mandarin glaze was too harsh for the tuna. Both pastas were amazing. The rigatoni is always on the menu and was terrific. Perfectly balanced. We had a seasonal pasta with mussels and a unique pasta that looked like the edges of lasagna. The blend of crème, beans, peppers and mussels was unique and made your tastebuds dance. We ate every bite of both and used the sourdough to make sure there was no ragu left. The dessert was definitely an acquired taste and left me wanting something different. It was a rhubarb sorbet with lemongrass crème and some type of pickled strawberries. Unfortunately I was hoping for a refreshing sorbet but it tasted like a vegetable (which it is) but I wanted more sugar and citrus. Our server was great. The overall service is terrific too. Definitely book a reservation. Inside is very small and you will be very close to the other party. I do like that the menu changes frequently.

Amazing dining experience. The restaurant was beautiful and a great in between of romantic for dates and vibey for friends and family. Very knowledgeable servers and kind staff. Personalized menu for birthdays was a great touch! However, don't expect any complementary dishes. Seaweed butter and bread was great, seems like a big hit for many tables. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but a touch salty. Rigatoni was great and had a perfect touch of heat. The crepe was decent. Drinks are very strong!

It's a great wine bar with an amazing selection of natural wines, delicious food, the best service, and an amazing ambiance. What's not to like? Sauced works a little bit differently than a lot of wine bars. We walked in and were welcomed right away. When we grabbed seats at the bar (there are also tables), our bartender (I feel terrible that I'm not 100% sure of his name since we had such a great time with him - but I'm pretty sure it was John) asked us about wines we like or are drawn to. They don't have a printed menu - they ask you what you like or are in the mood for and then they they'll pour you tastes until you find something you love. Then they have several fridges of bottles you can purchase and open. And their selection here is also great. We saw bottles by several winemakers we stalk (when we see, we usually buy). The wines our bartender recommended (based on our tastes and preferences) were great, too. They also have a great menu of food items - great for a meal or a snack. We ordered their mortadella sandwich, which will likely go down as one of my favorite sandwiches of the year (great bread, tons of mortadella, pistachio cream, gooey melted cheese)... I think I covered this already, but the service was excellent: attentive (we didn't have empty glasses for long at all before we were involved in a conversion about what we wanted to pour next), friendly, helpful... The bar itself is also great - tons of character: walls with smoke from candles, great lighting, little intimate nooks for seating... I had a great time at Sauced: great wine, great food, a great time. I'm not in Nashville as often as I should be (in laws), but I'd be happy to visit Sauced every time I'm in Nashville. Sauced might be an outpost of a Brooklyn wine bar, but Nashville is still so lucky to have it. Most cities don't have a wine bar as great as Sauced.

While I enjoy getting to talk to the bartender about what I like or may want to try, if they're busy, I don't want to just spend all of our time asking them the price of things. We definitely had a little sticker shock at the end of the night, but this was also my first time here so that could be something I just wasn't expecting! Aside from that, the service and wines were great. So while it isn't somewhere I see myself putting in my weekly rotation, it's a nice option for a special occasion or nicer evening.

The ambience is still nice, but we were seated so close to other tables it was a bit uncomfortable. The server was great (super sweet waitress) but the food was inconsistent. Even she seemed to be aware of this. Here's what we tried: Steak Tartare: 1/10 - Hated it. Worst steak tartare I've had. It tasted literally ONLY of capers and mustard. We couldn't even see the color of the meat. Even our waitress said it was so inconsistent and sometimes bad. Keep in mind they did comp this which was very nice of them. Whipped Ricotta: 9/10 - Okay this was AWESOME. The pita bread was soft, the ricotta was smooth and sweet, and all the toppings on it were just perfect pairings. Chefs kiss. White Bolognese: 5/10 - Pretty mid/bland. Just kind of tasted like pasta with Alfredo sauce and some meat. Eh. Truffle Fries: 5/10 - Standard fries. There is parmesan and truffle at the top but none on any of the middle or bottom fries, so you don't really want to keep eating them. Brussels: 8/10 - Lovely fry on these. They tasted very rich, but could've had more depth to them in my opinion. More crunch perhaps, or even a zingier sauce. Beef tenderloin: 7/10 - I mean it was good beef, but nothing special. The steak just kind of tasted like an average cut of beef. The au jus was good, though, along with the mashed potatoes. Chocolate cherry cake : 4/10 - They offered this to us for free for our anniversary, but I didn't love it. The chocolate flavor was super mild, and the cherry was kind of sickeningly artificial. Not for me. See what I mean now, by inconsistent?

The service was pretty well overall everyone that came to our table was pleasant. Our server was Parker and overall she was great, could sense mood shift when we had some questions w our order delay & salad . Our entrees took a bit to come out because of my salad remake. The drinks we ordered were good as well. Kudos to bartender. I'm going to dive right in: duck wings were realllyyyy good no complaints at all!! One of the favorites. Nice sweet sauce. Florida rock shrimp was my fav. Reminds you of a nice shrimp scampi minus the lemon, more garlicky. The bread was good with the sauce. My top fav. Short rib was very tender and good. The asparagus was cooked well too perfect crunch and grill taste. Not a fan of dates but it does add a sweetness if you like. Also came with family style mashed potatoes and they were very good as well. We also order the green beans , heavy lemon profile. zucchini fritters surprised me. Not in a bad way, I wasn't expecting a ball so the zucchini was like chopped up inside w/ another mixed. No much described on the menu. sausage cheddar biscuits were pretty over powering with the sausage , I enjoyed the sauce on the plate with it. High pork flavor, biscuits were soft & moist. chopped salad was very copped. It had peppers, radish, mushrooms , cucumbers & cheese and a lot of the chopped items are not listed on the menu, had to send back for a less chopped. I felt it was more chopped items than lettuce. The new salad was great & presentation is nice on how it comes out. Lettuce also wasn't the freshest but it was fine.
