OK Speakeasy Creative VIBE! Was my first time and wow did not expect this to be a moment of creating. This place is super moody from the entrance to the ordering of drinks. They will let you in- no need to knock! When the waiter comes over they will ask what is your vibe - what are your taste buds feelings like------ then will go & Create the magi of that note! My taste buds were feeling Tequila, mint, and not a lot of juice (not a fan too sweet drinks). They hit it right on the head with a China Ricky! 100/100 very delicious. Good atmosphere of intimate conversation and stimulating surroundings. I recommend a table if more than 3 people. Other than that the bar is very cool.

I absolutely love Attaboy. Every visit has been super intimate. Super exciting in service is incredible. I love the intimacy of talking to your bartender and allowing them to make the final decision when it comes to the drink you'll be having. It's a great way to introduce someone to Nashville outside of Broadway. It's one of my favorite bars and I love the East Nashville scene so I would definitely recommend it.

How in the world did i take so long to come back here omfg!!!??? I happen to come here with a friend just to have some drinks and check out the new decor since it's been that long. I love that they don't have a drink menu and you just tel.them what you want and they make it for you. So I told them of course I want an expresso martini and man did the bartender deliver! The freaking best expresso martini i have ever had hands down. The vibe and the ambiance here is amazing. Guess I'm about to be a regular now lol.

I've not been to a proper cocktail bar in years and this place made me want to change that perspective. Parking is a bit tough, street parking in a busy sector but totally doable - get out your parallel parking skills. You have to wait outside while they seat others in front of you. I like this aspect because there is not much of a waiting area inside and keeps the bar from being over crowded. The Staff were incredible. Super kind and really knowledgeable. When you order you can tell them a specific cocktail or just flavors you like. I had several incredible drinks. Great experience.

What a treat to find that my favorite bar in NY has a location in Nashville! When you arrive, wait outside and someone will come out to help you. If there's a wait, they will put your name on the line and send a text message with a 15 minute return window. The concept of Attaboy is that there is no menu. You let the bartender know what type of liquor and flavors you enjoy for a creation of your own personalized cocktail. We each had two rounds with each cocktail being $20 (which is cheaper than NY). Compared to the NY location, this one is much more spacious and modern as well. It's the perfect spot to impress a date or friends while enjoying some of the best cocktails.

This unassuming building is located in an alley. Very limited parking in the immediate vicinity, public lots and street parking available. I recommend arriving before they open, a line was forming after we got there. No parties larger than 6, no reservations. You had to wait outside, to be escorted inside and to your seat. The inside is dark and moody, low lighting, candles, etc. The main area has bar seating, 4 booths that fit 6, and small separate room, and a couch area. So very limited seating and you won't be seated after the tables are full, until someone leaves. There is no menu. If you have a drink you like, you can order that. Otherwise the server will ask your likes and dislikes and it is a bit of a surprise. Everyone was very pleasantly surprised, one friend remarked 'he gets me!'

We had a fantastic time here. One of the most memorable bars I've been to in any state. It's a speakeasy-style bar, located in a fairly unassuming building with the name on the wall outside. You can't go in, you wait outside the door to be added to their waitlist. It's a first come-first-serve situation. No reservations. We ended up going to a different bar while we waited. When your number is up, they text you, giving you 15 minutes to relocate from wherever you're waiting to the front door. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes but the waits can stretch much longer than that. Once you're inside, it's a pretty comfortable dimly lit space. There's no menu, they instead ask you your preferences and make you a drink based on that, or you can tell them exactly what you want and they'll make it for you, including any tweaks or modifications you could want. Mike was our bartender, and I couldn't ask for a better one. He made my girlfriend a drink based on her preferences which suited her perfectly, and he helped me recreate a drink I've had before, which was spot on, as well as made a perfect dry old-fashioned. He even wrote the recipe of her drink down for us, so we could recreate it at home or elsewhere. Drinks are about $20 each, but for the experience in the bar and bar the knowledge that the bartenders have, I'd say it's well worth it. I've been looking for a great bar since I moved to Nashville, and I think I've found my number one spot so far. Highly recommend checking this out if you have the inclination and the time to.

Although not a speakeasy, this cocktail bar has all the vibes of one with its atmosphere inside and the entrance in a back alley. At night the entrance is not well lit and not very noticeable. The door is locked and you don't have to knock or ring a bell. The bartenders can see you on the security screen and will come out when they see you, or when there is an opening to sit. Once inside you're surrounded by modern, yet handsome decor with the perfect lighting and a comfortable amount of tables and bar chairs where you have your own space. They do not pack the bar, which creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching all the drink making action (and the security TV as well ). I was also super impressed with how organized and clean they kept behind the bar. The team really does run like a well oiled machine, but quietly in the background so you don't even notice all the work they are doing. There's no menu. Our bartender chatted with us on what type of cocktail we prefer and he created one on the spot. My cocktail of choice was anything with gin, that was on the sweet side with no red dye 40 (IYKYK) . My cocktail was delicious! CL's cocktail was made with bourbon and he loved his as well. We actually liked them so much, we decided to stay for a second drink! Each bartender has their own area at the bar, which was so nice because it helps them be super attentive the whole time. This is a first come first serve cocktail bar, so if you go at a busier time of night, be prepared to wait to get in. They don't seat parties greater than 6, so pick your company wisely. Service was top notch, ambiance was cozy & inviting, and drinks were fabulous, so if you want a memorable experience we highly recommend you try it out next time you're in Nashville.

Awesome awesome bar. I am familiar with the Attaboy in New York. This location did not disappoint. You tell the bartender what you like to drink/what you're feeling and they come up with a concoction for you. I had a drink called Troublemaker that was a cross between a Pimms Cup and a Tom Collins. It was heavenly!!! My friend had a drink similar to a tiki drink that she loved. The bartenders were so nice! When you arrive, wait outside and they will come get you. There's bathrooms by the entrance. They are clean and modern. Ample seating throughout. We sat at the bar but there's many tables and booths. You won't be disappointed here.

My friend and I arrived on the earlier side, so it was nice having the bartender mostly to ourselves. The place has a cute intimate vibe and I was excited to check out Attaboy since I missed my opportunity in NY. I loved the experience and being able to tell the bartender what I was in the mood for and getting a delicious surprise! The drinks were not only beautiful, but delicious and the bartender introduced us to a few new things, which was a fun experience!

Really wanted to love this place but the cocktails fell flat. I think they were made without care and craft. Perhaps it was just an off night because they are a well known spot and I love the concept.

Easily the best drink I've had in a long time! The place is pretty small inside. You have to wait outside the door and one of the server come out to check your ID and let you in one group at a time. The max group size is 6 people. There are a few seating options: couch style, stools at the bar, stools against the wall, and it looked like there was also one more private room? Big speakeasy vibes with dark lighting. The waiter comes around and asked what you like and then brings out your drink. I ended up with something called a "Once Upon A Time" that was a rum base with a tropical fruity flavor. I don't think I've ever felt so tipsy after one drink. Drinks ended up being ~$18/each but the quality is SO much better than anything else I've had.

Found this "speakeasy" on a Google search whim after trying to go to the red phone booth and it being closed due to maintenance. Best. Accident. Ever. The building itself is very non descript, with a small parking lot and no signage anywhere. You walk up, knock on the door, and moments later it's answered by one of the bartenders letting you in. The inside has dim lighting, so much so I had to reach out to touch the booth he guided me and the other 3 in my party too. Music in background but soft enough to have conversation. There is no menu, bartender comes over and asks you for a liqueur of your choice and a couple adjectives and then you trust the process. Gotta say, 4 of us ordered 2 rounds of drinks, different each time for each person and they nailed EVERY drink. Each cocktail was $18, but worth it for the adventurous ride of the unknown that this place provides. Would recommend to go as a kick off to date night or a girls night.

The service was not great, unfortunately. It was just so slow, every step took FOREVER. We would have gotten dessert but the waitress never came back. I finally stood up, put my jacket on, and stood next to our table, as a hint that we were ready for the check. 3/5 stars for service. Now the food. Do you see those fries?? They are some of the most unique fries I've ever had. Crispy AND chewy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Served with bernaise, these alone are worth coming back for! The burger fell flat IMO. My husband liked it better than I did, but it didn't have much flavor. Some might say it needed ketchup, but for me it was more than that. It was a case where it seemed to have all the right ingredients but didn't "pop". It comes out wrapped in paper which is a fun touch, but didn't seem that hot and also was a little soggy, which made me wonder how long it sat before they brought it. We wanted ketchup for the fries too, BTW, but the server never came back to check on us. My husband's NY sour was a little strange. We love different "takes" on classic cocktails, but this one just didn't work. The waitress seemed unsure as to whether they could make this drink, and maybe she was correct. 3.5 stars for cocktails/food. We will definitely come back. When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

Parking was easy, with plenty of street parking nearby. We had a 5 p.m. reservation and arrived around 4:52. The doors were locked, and although an employee was standing just inside, we were asked to wait outside until exactly 5. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but it was about 95 degrees, I'm eight months pregnant, and we had three young kids with us. That wasn't a great first impression, and I think if reservations begin at 5, guests should be able to come inside a few minutes early. Once the doors opened, we were seated promptly. They had a high chair ready for our youngest, and our server was excellent throughout the meal. The restaurant has a trendy, upscale atmosphere, and while our oldest did great, I think it's a better fit for adults than families with very young children. One thing I really appreciated was that when we realized they only had glass cups available, our server found paper coffee cups for the kids. It was a small gesture that made the meal much less stressful. The sausage biscuits are still outstanding and easily my favorite item on the menu. The steak was good, but I wasn't impressed with the Cobb salad. Our kids shared the fried chicken and mac and cheese, and my husband ordered the pot roast. Our bill came to about $190 before tip. Overall, the meal was good, but it didn't feel like the special dining experience I remembered from previous visits. Between the rough start, the prices, and food that was good but not particularly memorable, I don't see us returning anytime soon. The service was kind, but for this price point, I expected more.

Overall, an enjoyable meal and a space I'd love to come back to try other menu items....I have heard rave reviews about a corn pasta here and I'd like to try sitting in the interior dining section which had a cozy, inviting feel.

Been meaning to try this place - it's quickly turned into one of my Nashville favorites! Restaurant…read moreitself is located in Germantown and has a lively modern coastal vibe to it. We sat at the oyster bar, which was a cool spot to watch the kitchen in action. We ordered the whiskey rebellion and the gold rush for a drink - both good, but the whiskey rebellion was definitely better. We started with the octopus and smoked fish dip - both absolute must do's! The octopus was so unique - lightly fried and was served similar to calamari. The smoked fish dip was so fresh and flavorful - not your run of the mill smoked dip! For the entrees, we had the mussels and fettuccine with a side of carrots. Mussels were good, but as expected with this dish. The fettuccine was seriously fantastic - you gotta try this one! Living just a couple blocks away, I am excited to have a new favorite within a stone's throw. Can't wait to go back and order new things!

There was only one wood fired oyster option - green curry oyster - which was delicious. We ordered two plates of it. We each ordered a drink which was $10 because of happy hour, we decided to add the gnocchi after seeing the table next to us order it and it was delicious and after the oysters the perfect meal to split between the two of us. Service was great, everyone was super helpful and we were celebrating a birthday and the menu had Happy Birthday on it. The restaurant was about 50% full and filling up as we ate but still quiet and cozy. Would recommend and would definitely return for the oysters!
