What a find! Located in East Nashville, we ventured into the Amsterdamian unsure of what our experience would be. It's a discrete entrance in a small building next to a pizza shop. When you walk in you're transported into another world! This little cocktail lounge has a super chill vibe with the bar giving subtle shoutouts to one of my favorite cities, Amsterdam There's cute little couches and chairs to have some nice convo with friends and those you love all while sipping some amazing cocktails!! I got the What's My Sage Again which was super refreshing herbaceous and citrusy with gin, sage, peach & lime ‍ It was an absolute dream! My husband got Amalfitano, a citrusy gin old fashioned The cocktails.. on point! Absolutely recommend this place. The bartender was great and matched the vibe. I wish we had gotten his name but we were so impressed with the little gem we were sitting in we didn't make much small talk other than drink recommendations. They also have a few mocktails and snacks available. We were headed to dinner for our next stop so we didn't try anything but we definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good cocktails in the area!

My friend and I had a lovely time visiting The Amsterdamian. We each had 3 drinks and then ordered food. I had the grilled goat cheese toasty with fig jam, and my friend had the french fries. I ordered the Aqua Vitae, the Pink Elephant, and the Rye Tai. All of my drinks were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Drinks range from $12-$16, which is very reasonable. I loved the toasty as well, perfectly done and it came out within a good time frame. Our servers were very kind and patient. Even when a large bachelorette party came in, we were still receiving service in good time and never felt like the ambiance was impacted by the others in the space. It is a very small bar, but there were plenty of seating options in either chairs with tables, private booths, or bar seating. Low-key vibes, great ambiance and drinks, kind and patient bartenders, and good art. There were only two people working, so please be patient when choosing this location, they are working very hard to maintain this atmosphere.

What a cool place. It's unassuming from outside, but very elegant inside. We had Holly as our bartender and she was fantastic. Knowledgeable, kind, funny and talented. She created the drink Midnight in Hollywood which was delicious! Highly recommend. They do events here as well like silent discos, speed dating, comedy, and burlesque. We will absolutely be coming back here.

Great new addition to the east side. I stopped in for a mother/daughter night and we couldn't have been more pleased. It was a nice, quieter atmosphere, allowing for good conversation. The layout is very cute and intimate and the chairs are comfortable. They have a serve-yourself popcorn machine and small bites to eat. I was interested in the toasties but we had dinner plans after. We each ordered 2 cocktails and all of them ere top notch. I usually avoid the vodka drink section but I got to task the pink elephant because my mom ordered it and man was it a good flavor combo. Service was well paced and the bartenders were friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Such a cute spot... you'd never realize it's in a little strip mall! Great service the staff is sweet and helped when we mentioned we had an allergy. Charcuterie was great I wish they still were doing the fondue I see in other reviews on here... but they aren't :( overall, great experience and will come back!

Awesome cocktails with a great atmosphere. Check it out if you want a great bar with great bartenders.

Great new addition to east Nashvilles bar/food scene. The owners were very friendly, the cheese was to die for. Possibly the coolest bathroom in the city. Think if Salazar Slytherin owned it. Cocktails were all on point. I suggest the buttered rum for these cold holiday nights.

East Nashville's newest, coziest mini elevated cocktail lounge. The Amsterdamian is the perfect spot to catch a drink!

You can find free parking, which is really good these days. We ordered fried, crab dip sliders, and oysters. Everything was really good! I definitely want to come back with my husband, it's a really cute and intimate spot. From the time we walked in, the staff was nice. I can't wait to come back. 10/10x

There are drinks that are refreshing/lighter and ones that are more spirit-centered. They also have small bites that are really excellent pairs to the drinks. 2 - It is very small. So if you feel like you'll land on a spot because someone popped in and just left, you might be out of luck. We were able to be seated because we came a little earlier, and I believe someone at the bar left earlier than anticipated. 3 - It's quite dark/moody. If you have a person who's weirded out by spaces like this, go somewhere else. If you can't read the menu in the darker/lower lit spaces, bring out your phone's flashlight. One thing that's GREAT about the menu is that they have it in contrasting colors (ie light paper and black ink) and the font is large. There was a spot that I went to recently where the lighting was very low and they used a dark tan font on manila colored paper. If the lighting was normal, it wouldn't have been a problem ... but in lower light, the lack of contrast was not helpful! 4 - The staff is really great. I know that I mentioned it before, but if you've ever been to places like The Aviary in Chicago or places like this, you'll feel that this is right in the same lane.

I recently tried the cucumber salad and am now obsessed. I hope this is not a seasonal item. The inside is a wine bar with plenty of options to choose from. Even if you aren't getting wine or one of the batched cocktails in side I still recommend walking through. The vibes are high and the interior design is gorgeous. The outside had plentiful seating. If you're lucky, you might get a seat around a real wood fireplace. If I could suggest one thing to Urban Cowboy it would be to provide blankest to those sitting outside without the fire place. I believe they do have blankets set out but I was unsure if I could take them so I just left them on the chair. I think it would be better to have an area with a sign saying "blankets for guests" or something along the lines. I always get a dirty martini at Urabn Cowboy. Its crisp yet dirty and always hits the spot. Another good option here is a aperol spritz. Theres always a line at the bar. I've talked to the bartenders and he confirmed you DO NOT have to line up in a single file line but it always happens. You can walk up like a normal bar and order!!

Located in East Nashville away from the widespread tourist traps of Broadway, the bed and breakfast is in a cooler, mostly residential neighborhood, and it has its own "public house" separate from the main house but connected by a popular yard with lots of seating. The night we went was warm, and there were plenty of people in the pub, but the loud rap music playing over the speakers didn't seem to fit the vibe of the thoughtful interior design at all to me. I should note I would feel the same if they were blasting the same country top 40 as the spots on Broad or regular top 40, and I know, to some, it's a petty thing, and the staff probably play what they want, but as far as ambiance goes, that was the only negative thing I remember feeling at the time, and because it was audio, it was inescapable. If the music had been a bit lower or had been instrumental, I think it would have been a more immersive experience. We got nice drinks in the parlor bar and enjoyed the music room, and the visual aspect was lovely. I wished I'd had more time to spend there. Perhaps there'll be a "next time."

They even have little dog-friendly gelato but they didn't have any available that nite so Bentley got a pup cup which absolutely stole my dog's heart. Right now they have a Après Ski Lodge theme going on, which was really cool to see. It's definitely a different vibe and such a fun change from the usual bar atmosphere. On top of that, all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, both to me and my pup. Food-wise, everything was solid. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza and the white pizza, and during happy hour they're only $1, which is honestly a steal. Both were delicious. For drinks, I tried their espresso martini, which was great, and then a piña calma with tequila added, which was super refreshing. Overall, my little dog and I had the best date night celebrating his 5th birthday here . Great vibes, great staff, great food, and a truly dog-friendly experience. Highly recommend if you're a dog parent looking for a fun, unique spot!

A friend and I stopped in during their happy hour on a Tuesday night, and had the place mostly to ourselves. We sat at the bar, and the bartender shared a few fun recommendations with us while we looked over the menu. Their cocktail offerings rotate a bit with the seasons, and I can't quite remember the name of the drink I ordered. Even still, it was a gin cocktail and it was great! My friend "drew" for an Amaro Collins, which was such a fun, interactive way to choose a drink. The bartender presented her with a deck of cards, and he had her pick three (like a tarot reading). Of the three cards, she selected the Amaro that sounded the best. We didn't try any pizza on this visit, but I'm happy that there is an affordable spot to grab a slice in the neighborhood! I'm sure I'll be back.
