My wife discovered Tiger Bar online -- probably via TikTok. Since we enjoy going to speakeasies, cocktail bars, and gin joints, this became the first on our list to visit during our recent stay in the Nashville area. The 1930's sideshow-inspired bar creates some wicked tasty cocktails in addition to the classics. Our visit was a joyful one where we enjoyed the drinks and the darkened, old-school-carnivalesque ambiance. Tiger Bar like many cocktail lounges and self-styled speakeasies focus on a myriad of specialized cocktails. Inspired by the 20s and 30s cocktail scene combined with the sideshow Influences, Tiger specializes in not only perfecting the classics but creating their own signature on cocktails that will tantalize the senses. Upon entering the establishment, past the receptionist desk with the portrait of a tiger going through a ring of fire and the lavender velvet curtain, you enter a carnivalesque gin joint full of escape and wonder. We took a table with olive green cushions and red velvet curtains the kept the daylight away. By the bar, there was an old love tester machine to measure your hotness. The hanging ceiling lamps helped create the darkened carnivalesque ambiance, which you wondered if Captain Spaulding was going to pop out of nowhere with a bucket of chicken and before beheading you. But I digress. For cocktails, we started off with the Lobster Boy cocktail and the Beneath the Cards cocktail. Made with Fords Gin, Grey Goose Vodka, dry vermouth, celery bitters, and lobster oil, the lobster boy cocktail was quoted in the menu as "savory, bursting with flavors like you were dining on lobster dinner." They were right about that. If you are into lobster like I am, the cocktail was gorgeous on the mouthfeel and finish. With respect to the Beneath the Cards, you can argue that this is the one drink that all your friends post pictures of if they visited here. Made with Assam tea-infused Gin, Strega herbal liqueur, Bartlett Pear, Lemon, and a Pear- Dill Foam before being topped with your own personal tarot card pull, the drink is grand without being overpowering by any sort of sweetness or booziness. I finished their Snozzberry cocktail that (guess what?) tasted like snozzberries! Additionally, we enjoyed some Bacon-wrapped dates, which tantalized our senses and gave us a sense of tremendous well being and strength; strength and tremendous well being. They offer a variety of equally decadent small plates while you sip on cocktails that pair very well overall. I applaud Tiger Bar for its excellence and carnival-like environment that allows you to live your best life and enjoy them with loved ones and friends. Tiger bar is incredibly unique and fantastic for either a date night or while out with friends. The prices are super reasonable for a bar of this caliber. The drinks are inventive and whimsical. We were able to walk in on a Saturday night and snag a table for three. We ordered the cotton candy cosmo. You dissolve the cotton candy into the drink to finish making the cosmo - what a cool idea! And it was delicious. The Beneath the Cards was aesthetically pleasing and yet light and refreshing to the taste. We also ordered a regular old fashioned and they did a great job using buffalo trace. Do it- just go! I have been meaning to come to this bar for months! And so glad I did. The vibes are immaculate- so unique! We had a booth but I imagine sitting at the bar has to be quite the experience. The beverage menu can get a little bit overwhelming, their cocktails are true mixology well thought out flavors that come together, very cool looking as well. But if you are a little more classic they have standard cocktails and wine. Their food menu is very limited but honestly it was so delicious! We ordered the sliders and these crab filled crunch delicious things that made us full. Also our server was super helpful with recommendations and walking us through the menu. We were there for a while and she did a great job of taking care of us. The booths enable groups of 6 for larger parties but it's also a perfect date night spot. Will definitely be back! read more

I've gone to Tiger Bar a few times, and have always enjoyed myself. The space has a really great theme and decorations. It is very dark in there, so if you have trouble being in places with low lighting, beware. They have a lot of really great cocktails on the menu, but a lot of it features gin. The food is pretty good too - the popcorn, the vinegar fries, and the Bavarian pretzel are must haves. The hot Cheeto mozzarella sticks and the small street pizzas are good too - especially the prosciutto and honey one. Highly recommend getting a reservation if you want a table. They also have bar seating if you're in a smaller group. I can't wait until they decorate for Halloween this year! Parking is behind the building m. This is one of our new favorite bars in Nashville! This is just a quirky and all around fun bar to be at. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. When I first came to this place was magical and whimsical and I would recommend it to everyone that told me they were coming to Nashville (I'm from the west). So of course I had to visit the next time I came to Nashville because I loved it so much. They do validate parking which is a perk I didn't know when. I first came because I was able to walk here from my hostel. I was so excited to show my friend this place but it fell short of expectation. Still whimsical and magnificent idea but a bit of a different menu. Probably never spinning the wheel again because I get the martini or Tom Thumb every time. (Same ingredients, one's a shot, one's a cocktail) and unfortunately you can't get another drink which sucked because I wanted to try something different. That was a disappointment but I blame myself for that one. No more pate, no more elephant eat. Wasn't really impressed by the food options but my friend was having a sweet tooth moment so she got the ice cream sandwich. It was alright but I wouldn't put it above the elephant ear that they replace. Cute packaging that match the circus theme though. I told the bartender what I liked and was so under delivered. Everyone else drinks looked amazing and mine tasted reminiscent of medicine. Wasn't impressed with my cocktails and even a random, fellow patron tried my drink wasn't about it. Then we got the bill. $11 in taxes is OUTRAGEOUS. I know it isn't your fault as a bar but my goodness that was enough to never make me want to come back here. Another person I recommended this place to, who is a cocktail expert, told me that he wasn't impressed and his drinks, though nice looking were not delectable. Hate to see a great concept fall short of expectation. The bartenders didn't make the experience as much as my first time in but I did enjoy the midnight bar wide cheers that they did and it was also a last call cheers. What a fun vibed place! We had such a good time! The whole bar is circus themed and the drinks and food have a great whimsy to them. They change up their menu pretty frequently so we got their New Year 2026 menu. For food we tried the Flamin' Hot Mozz Sticks which were so much fun and way bigger than we expected. Some major cheese pulls from them! I would definitely order them again. Also a huge extra note is that the menu is Celiac friendly! They have a separate fryer for anything that is gluten free. Yay! Additionally, some of the drinks we got were the Cotton Candy Negroni, Beneath the Cards, Spirit Talker, and an Aperol Spritz. All the drinks were beautifully crafted and yummy. We all sat at the bar since we didn't have reservations so we couldn't get a table. They have some standing tables too so there are a few options. If you can get a reservation for a group, I'd definitely do that. Parking is a little challenging outside. They have their own parking lot and we were able to get a spot easily since we went at the earlier end of the night, but it gets busy so I'd definitely plan for that. TIGER BAR IS GOATED. 5 days up and down Nashville, more bars than I can count. This was the best. I was at a bar next to Tiger when some slob started off on a racist rant. I chugged my brew and walked out seeking signs of civilization. The punk rock and popcorn smell beckoned me. I was seated all of 5 mins enjoying my drink when the bartenders started fire breathing while a lady tossed rings at liquor bottles. The crowd reminded me of Eli's mile high in Oakland (look it up). We've been here no less than 10 times since they have opened. I used to sing the praises of Tiger Bar to anyone asking for a reco. However, the experience is so hit or miss, I'm not taking that risk anymore. The vibe is so cool, the drinks are unique and all the food we've ever had (which at this point is nearly everything in the menu) is fantastic. No, not really a place for a proper meal, but more high end snacking. This issue here is service. It's either 12/10 or 1/10, and there seems to be no in between. It doesn't matter who is working the door, they always seem to have a bit of a superiority complex. We've come with reservations and without and the treatment at the door is the same. I also feel like every time I ask about the parking validation, I get an eye roll and it's like a chore for them to show me the QR code. Our last couple times we have sat at the bar and we have left after one drink bc we don't feel welcomed. Almost like it's an inconvenience for them to do their job and make us a drink. I'm surprised to say I really didn't like Tiger bar! We ordered drinks and an appetizer (sliders) and the sliders came a good 10 minutes before our drinks. I had such higher expectation for food but it was meh at best. The food menu (including deep fried pizza bites) was more what I expected from a sports bar than a cocktail bar. The drinks were ok. I don't even know where to begin. This place was beyond my expectations. We made some reservations and I was happy they gave us the bar seats we asked for. Everyone here is very cool and nice. Our bartender of the night was Eddie. He is THE BEST. I told him I was going to make a review and say how awesome he was and I meant it. Super chill dude, knew his stuff, made me some excellent drinks. I usually have them just make me stuff off menu, but this place has some really creative and interesting drinks on menu, so I happily tried most of them. Oh and the food! Very good food. Reserved a table here for myself & three friends on a Friday for 6:15. We were promptly seated by the very friendly hostess once we all arrived. The menu is bold & with a lot of options to choose from so a few of us spun the wheel to have our first drinks chosen by fate instead of hard decision making. We all had 2 rounds of cocktails, an assortment of food & two of us also tried their alcoholic slushes. Everything we had here was very good & not super expensive either. The highlight of Tiger bar obviously is the ambiance, presentation, & intimate touch with their cocktails. Each drink was delivered to us along with a brief description of the ingredients, history, & instructions on how to best enjoy it. The split faced girl was probably my favorite & the most unique drink we had imho. Service here is second none & should be applauded greatly by all. This was my first time at Tiger Bar. I loved it! I loved the interior- it was circus theme but not in a tacky way. They have the most fun specialty drinks. The Gin and cucumber one I got first, it was a little too cucumber-y for me but it was good. For a second drink I got their version of an espresso martini, it was amazing!! My friend got a martini that she really liked. The melon tequila drink was not something I would have ever ordered but it was very good, highly recommend. This place is super cool and I'm so glad I made a reservation to stop by on my birthday. Booking online was easy and checking in on the day of was also a breeze. The friendly hostess walked us over to our table and we had no idea that it was a themed night. On this night, they were celebrating the anniversary of the end of the prohibition era. We did pay $10 each to get in but this cover included champagne, raffle tickets, and a "to go" bottle. Our server was friendly and he quickly came over to give us the 411. We ordered two lemon drops, a prohibition inspired drink, (can't remember the name) and the popcorn trio. (ranch flavor, spicy dill, and regular butter) The drinks were goood and the lemon drop was the best! It was made just right. The popcorn was delicious and I really enjoyed the spicy dill. Service was great and everyone was friendly. The inside is nicely decorated and the vibes are all there. The bathroom was also really cool looking and it was clean. Take a step back in time and visit the Tiger Bar. This is one of the coolest bars I've been to in a long time. The decor and atmosphere is so unique- they even have a slightly hazy thing going on in the air that is super dramatic. I had the cotton candy Negroni which was unique, fun and delicious. The last word was good too. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had, don't skip the anchovies! Don't be afraid of the dress code- we were not very dressy and it was fine. Cliental was a nice mix of ages- not all young or all older! When we were done, we went to their sister bar, Pearl Diver. While it was fun, we much prefer Tiger Bar. Pearl Diver definitely seemed to be a much younger crowd and the drinks were tasty but a bit too sweet for us.
