Great ambiance! I love a unique bar with some history. Drinks were well-crafted and delicious. We had a fun time and got a break from the typical bar scene. The bartenders and server were pleasant and drinks came up relatively quick. It is on the pricier side but that's the price you pay for a unique experience. One thing that I really didn't like is that our server didn't mention that auto gratuity (20%) is included on the bill. I always tip 20%+ even for mediocre service BUT I fully believe that when there is auto gratuity you should tell the patron or you're being a bit deceptive. We all added 20%+ on top of the existing 20% already and then had to adjust it when one of my friends thought her total was a bit high and pointed out the added gratuity. Not a good look or practice in my opinion.
Two drinks for $65?!? Rude, unattentintive bartender that waaay over charged us on two drinks my our experience here less than ideal. Real cool place...but the "I'm cooler than you because I bartend in a swanky Nashville bar" bartender pissed us off. We were polite when ordering and we barely got any love...then the dude overcharged us and automatically put 20% tip. Liquor and sales tax? We ain't going back. Patrons beware!
The ambiance in this place is great. The drinks are better. Alex made me several great cocktails. I started with the cocktail of the week called Sea Foam. Incredible. Then I had another couple, one as is, one subbing mezcal for tequila. Both great. As I has sat there looking at their selection of spirits I wondered if they had the ingredients to make my favorite tiki cocktail. I asked, Alex delivered. It had been six years since I had that cocktail and, while not having 100% of the ingredients, it was so damn close that it took me right back to the where and when I last drank it. Now that I know they can make it, I will be returning on a regular basis. This is a great dark and intimate location to bring a date or come solo. The folks that work there are friendly, talented and accommodating. Really great spot!

The drinks were very good, but on the expensive side. I enjoyed having servers that walked around and never felt like I was waiting on someone. Lots of places to sit and different levels that you can explore. We went on a Saturday night and they also had a DJ. Definitely recommend for a fun and unique spot!
It's hidden but find it and bring your friends in for a fun treat! Located in Edgehill Village, we took our out of town friends for a drink before our dinner reservations at Sadie's. It was great- it was not crowded but our server took a wee bit too long to get our drink order, so we had to hurry to make our reservation. I really enjoyed the taste of my cocktail of the week/ "Year of the Snake" and would highly recommend it. Ambience here is dark and mysterious...! Our friends loved it because it's out of the norm here in Nashville instead of same awww ol' same ol'.
This was a nice speakeasy, it does get crowded like others stated. I was a bit bummed because the door was just open so it was easy to find. The drinks were delicious and strong and the mixologists were on top of their game with recommendations or asking what one would prefer in order to make something we'd like. It's a welcoming ambiance and it's just pretty how it's decorated and how it looks in the dark. I recommend coming early to get a seat!

Old Glory is one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. The music is good, the service is good, and the drinks are good. All in all, this is a solid spot. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations, and of course were very friendly. My only gripe with it is that it is a bit on the pricier side. You are paying for the ambiance and atmosphere 100%. To give an idea of what I spent, it was about $38 for two cocktails after the automatic 20% gratuity. The seating can be a bit tricky, but we ended up being able to grab a table, so just be patient!
It's not really hidden. But it looks so good inside. It is super small. And it has waves of crowds so that it doesn't stay too packed all the time. And the bartender literally comes to find you! They do add gratuity. Which I didn't mind because they didn't overcharge with it. And being the bartender has to go and find you going up and down stairs, I do believe that's fair! Now those drinks are strong! So please walk around after leaving to walk off some of the alcohol. Hell! Just walk to midtown! Now the ambiance was beautiful! S*** tons of couples! But I see why! The DJ...was definitely a latchkey kid and born in the 70s, lol! But he was on with the music Coach jeremy! You can find out on IG who's dj-ing. Will be coming back! Great hangout spot, but the parking sucks. And I seriously don't care.

Cool place. Nice drinks. Like a good speakeasy the bartender acted mildly annoyed that we were there but he was nice and helpful explained the drinks and all the unusual aspects. Not totally a speakeasy vibe except that there are no signs. Think industrial speakeasy. read more

The wife and I have started seeking out speakeasies in the cities we visit. Old Glory is one of a few in Nashville. We decided to check this place out because it has the speakeasy vibe without being super exclusive. I mean, I'm just visiting. I'm not trying to join a club. Old Glory is actually more than we anticipated. It is located in an old brick building that used to house steam cleaning equipment. The vaulted ceilings, industrial equipment, old tiles, and red bricks really scream prohibition era. As we entered through the door marked only with a gold triangle, it really felt like stepping back in time. We were greeted by the host on a landing overlooking the huge space and led to bar stools on the second level. Our waitresses were both very personable and checked on us at appropriate times. The craft cocktails menu has quite a few choices. The descriptions provide just enough information to keep your drink choices adventurous. I had a rye cocktail called Big Sun. It was smooth. I do recommend it. read more
I love Old Glory - plain and simple. Hidden away enough to be a speakeasy type bar, beautiful inside with a nice moody vibe. I love all of the cocktails and have enjoyed quite a few here over the years. The service can be a little hit or miss depending on where you are seated and how busy they are - but you'll get what you need no matter what. The espresso martini and old fashioned are two of my go-to drinks and MAN are they good. They have a great selection of liquors so you will not be disappointed trying to find something you like. From the outside you wouldn't think it would be a bar, but once you're inside it's perfect. Lighting is very dim, great music, cool vibe, with great drinks. The vibe during the day is totally different than the vibe at night. read more

The atmosphere was amazing, and I would highly recommend coming here--just be sure to request not to have Julia P. as your server. From the moment we sat down, her attitude was terrible. Despite our efforts to be polite and friendly, we were met with eye rolls and dismissive head nods. We specifically asked for our checks to be split three ways, and she informed us that four was the maximum, which we agreed to. However, at the end of the night, after a great time with friends, we asked for our checks to be split--only to be told that she had already charged one card $300 without mentioning it beforehand. Had she communicated this earlier, it wouldn't have been an issue, but handling it this way only added to an already frustrating experience. Everyone has bad days, but after multiple unpleasant interactions, it genuinely felt like we were being treated as an inconvenience. The restaurant wasn't even busy--it was a Thursday night--so there was no apparent reason for the hostility. From the start, we made a conscious effort to be extra polite, yet the service completely ruined what should have been an exciting night. Extremely disappointed. read more
Cool little speakeasy! It's an old boiler room that powered several businesses a long time time ago! I had an Old Fashioned with Sazerac Rye, very good. My wife had a French 75, Since it was my wife's birthday they brought her a Pickle Back.... You need look into this one.... Service was great! read more

This is one of my favorite bars in Nashville. The drinks are always amazing and the atmosphere is what makes it so special. The staff are always accommodating and knowledgeable about their menu. I will be back. read more
If you like nice cocktails in a dramatic setting, this is a great option. If you want to impress your date, look no further. They are located in a building that was once used as the boiler room for an industrial sized laundry, which creates an incredibly unique atmosphere that offers up numerous different spaces for you to enjoy. The entrance is a bit hard to find, so put it into your GPS and look for the black door with the gold triangle painted around it. There are comfy booths downstairs, seating at the bar, and behind the bar, there are stairs that go up two levels with views overlooking the space below. You enter and go down a beautiful spiral staircase into a dimly lit area with high ceilings and loud music setting a great tone. They do offer food, which was delicious, but it's more amouse bouche sized, it's not somewhere you could have an entire dinner. When we visited the extent of the options were two sandwiches, essentially high class grilled cheeses, one of which had mozarella, pesto, and red chilies, while the other was more traditional. They are small and $8, but as I mentioned, they are great. Perfect snacks to enjoy so you don't drink on an empty stomach. With the food out of the way, we sampled some of their cocktails. They have a big list of classics and signatures. If you're a fan of boozy, simple drinks, one of the staples is called the Panther Panther, which is your choice of spirit served over a big, house-made coffee ice cube. Coffee ice cubes are as magical and delicious as they sound, and as the drink mellowed, it grew in flavor. I tried one with southern amaro, which was perfect, though aged rum was a great choice as well. They also make a top notch old fashioned. If you like fruitier drinks, they have those as well. Cool place, maybe our favorite cocktail spot in Nashville. read more

Went to Old Glory during a recent vacation with friends and we loved it! Some even said it was their favorite bar of the whole trip. We were at a place around the corner and decided to check OG out too. It was a little hard to find, but if you see a door with a yellow painted triangle around it then you're there. It's located in an old historic boiler room with massive ceilings. You can really feel the history and age of the place when you're there. It's a little dark, but it added to the cool atmosphere. It felt a bit like a speakeasy. The waiter was great. No complaints. All the drinks were top notch. Our favorites were the In Bloom and Emily's Salty Dog. There's also a fun photo booth that I'd recommend taking advantage of with friends. Our only regret was not going back! read more
Great, friendly service and awesome atmosphere. Love the aroma of the environment as well - I think they use Palo Santo wood sticks for the smell. Drinks are a bit pricey (as they tend to be), which is really the only downside. Will be back! read more
Besides being sticker-shocked with a $50 bill for three drinks, I'm even more shocked at Emily, the GM (oddly she neglected to sign her surname) replying to my concern over the added gratuity. I don't have a copy of the drink menu, nor my check, to confirm if it states a 20% gratuity would be added to all checks no matter party size. It's pretty dark in there, so menus and tabs are hard to read. After putting a candle near the check in this very dark speakeasy, I saw that a line near the total stated an added gratuity. It wasn't verbalized, so I almost added a tip on top of it. We all know the restaurant industry got hit hard with Covid. I worked in the industry almost all my life. I've heard dozens and dozens of people complain that some businesses appear to be taking advantage of customers by adding at least a 20% gratuity to all sorts of orders. I'm just in total disbelief that a GM would actually come out and state it very clearly to me that we, as consumers, must foot the bill because the wages paid by their employers are not enough to compensate them. read more
Love this bar! We only had one drink and then headed out, but I loved the vibe and look of this place. Apparently, it used to be an old laundromat company? There is food served here, most sandwiches, but the real reason to come here is for the bar and deep cocktail menu. Get here early to avoid the crowd and maybe leave the older parents at home because there are a lot of stairs. I suggest sitting in the balcony area to really soak in the look of this place. read more

This speakeasy is hard to find but worth the effort. The drinks are inventive, the room was so cool (old boiler room, albeit not ADA compliant), and the waiter was kind and chill. I enjoyed it a lot. My first cocktail was seriously yummy but odd. It featured saffron liquor plus vodka ... and some butternut squash. Weird, right? Still it hit enough notes that I enjoyed it a lot. Next cocktail was still vodka based but it had cucumber and lime. It was more my speed but maybe less inventive. read more

I usually park on the surrounding streets and have never had an issue feeling in danger or anything. There is one paid lot across from the shops but it gets expensive, so the free residential street parking is the way to go. Xo
