Love me loup. An immaculate drink menu that you could thumb through for days. A quick walk to a lot of great restaurants in an awesome areas if you want to grab a fun drink with a good vibe before eating. I would get the espresso martini with bourbon - you will not be disappointed.

Don't know why it's taken me so long to try here! We got an espresso martini, dirty martini, and a bananas foster. The bananas foster was STRONG with the liqueur but still good. I definitely will be back to try their other food!

Fantastic ambiance. Very elevated casual. Servers were very attentive and were checking on us regularly. Folks at the table ordered the oysters, the tuna tar tar and bananas foster, all were delicious. The cocktails were great and in line with what you would expect at a nice cocktail bar. Will definitely be coming back!

Had cocktails and snacks here before dinner nearby and everything was amazing! Half dozen oysters were absolutely fire. Also loved the smoked fish dip. To drink, I had the chartreuse swizzle (excellent) and my boyfriend liked the Calcutta cocktail. Great vibe and tons of seating.

Incredible ambiance, average drinks. I believe their martinis were all pre batched. The espresso martini wasn't very good. If I go back I'd like to try the lychee martini. Our server, Harrison, was great! They brought out celebratory beignets and champagne for my friends birthday which was such a nice touch! It's a great spot for a date or girls night. Next time I might just stick to wine.

Le Loup has become one of my new favorite spots to start the weekend! We had a wonderful server who walked us through the menu of fun drinks and yummy hors d'oeuvres. I love the sea theme in here and the moody lighting. I recommend ubering here and trying out the Optimist downstairs!

The "sea creatures" were delicious! Oysters, shrimp ceviche, and beignets were all too notch. We loved the decor and lighting throughout the space and the warm fireplace. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The real star of the show here was the cocktails.

Fantastic cocktail bar in Germantown! Somewhat hidden but what a gem. With a Prohibition-style cocktail menu that goes on for days (in the best way!) their oysters are some kind of the best in the city! Ambiance is almost like an elevated bar on the pier, and honestly I thought if I looked out the window I'd see ships porting. Alas, we're in a landlocked state but don't let that stop you from trying this wonderful bar. Stop in before dinner at The Optimist or O-ku and you'll have a wonderful night!

Came here for a girls night. The atmosphere was really nice. It's a nice, intimate place, great for date night or hang out with friends. The menu has shareable bites on it. We ordered the oysters, fish dip, and banana foster. They have plenty of drink options to chose and even mocktails for the non drinkers. Since I' doing a dry January, I had one of the mocktails and it was delicious, the have about 4 options to choose from. I will definitely be back to try some of their drinks, maybe for a date night.

My gal pal wanted to catch up so I suggested Le Loup because it looked like a place we could catch up over nice cocktails and light bites. I couldn't have picked a better spot. Le Loup is located on the second floor of The Optimist. The entrance is actually up the stairs inside The Optimist but you can also access it by outside stairs but then you're entering the back corner and will need to go across the restaurant to get checked in. It says no reservations on the website but then we were asked if we had a reservation!? There is no opening seating. Bar seats are also reserved for reservations. I learned that when we came to put our name down. They suggest going downstairs to the Optimist to have a drink while you wait which is what we did. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait too long. We were seated at a two top with a round table and super comfort oversized chairs. We ordered the smoked fish dip, tots, and bananas fosters. I really liked the smoke fish dip. It has celery and trout roe served with Club crackers. The tots were special. It comes with about 8 oversized tots. They pour raclette over them when they serve them to you with some cornichons. It was a bit too cheesy for me but for cheese lovers, this dish is for you. For dessert, there is only one option: bananas foster. There is a bananas foster station where they are made to order. It has bananas sautéed with rum, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and punch cordia over vanilla bean ice cream. My friend absolutely loved it while I really enjoyed the ice cream. Service is great. This is upscale and for light snacks and drinks. They have U-shaped booths that are best for groups of 4 then a round tables best for 2-4 people. Then they have a church pew and two extra large chairs that could entertain a group of 6 or 8. The bar is where the action is but the chairs didn't look as comfortable. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu.

Sexy ambiance to pair with a wide array of seductive cocktails. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. I ordered a few cocktails, which all were delightful but one amongst them stood out... Pousse Café-- green chartreuse, blue curaçao, licor 43, calpico, campari, aquavit served with a cup of coffee to enhance each individual layer of flavor, I sipped slowly to take each one in.

I can't say enough about Le Loup. It is the most stunning bar I've ever set foot in. It's tucked away yet spacious, playful yet intimate. The perfect date night spot. Now the food and drinks. 100% worth every penny spent. The oysters are the best around. I highly recommend doing a sampler of each type they offer, including the broiled oyster. Their smoked fish dip is to die for: they pair it with the perfect accoutrements. The broiled prawns were massive and delicious; I wish I was wealthy enough to eat them all night long. My husband was obsessed with the recommended beef tartare. Le Loup has quickly become our favorite spot for date night.

Ryan the bartender was the best! He served up the best lychee and espresso martini! He also took the extra time to make sure that the bar was clean and super hygienic.

You can check out the calendar to see what they're playing for the night, the ambiance in there is great-definitely a mix of LA & New York. It's a mix crowd which I love. The manager & all the staff there are very welcoming, I normally reserve a table there when I go & the prices are very reasonable.

Nashville's lounge revolution continues. We've gotten Nashville's take on Brooklyn, LA and Vegas…read more the back corner is very Miami Beach. When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

Every dish felt thoughtfully put together, and a few really stood out. I've been on the hunt for more black sesame treats, and the raspberry sherbet with cremolata and salted black sesame seed butter was exactly what I was looking for--the most perfect, not-too-sweet dessert. Creative, balanced, and completely unforgettable. I'd go back just for that. The stracciatella on toast was another standout--simple but incredibly well executed. My second favorite dish was the lightly roasted snap pea with fennel, spring onion, and chili--fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. So good. The linguini and clams was decent, but didn't quite hit the same level as the other dishes. It leaned a bit too al dente for my taste, and the flavor felt a little on the bland side. Overall, an incredible dining experience with standout dishes and impeccable service. Try this when you're in Germantown.

The ambience is still nice, but we were seated so close to other tables it was a bit uncomfortable. The server was great (super sweet waitress) but the food was inconsistent. Even she seemed to be aware of this. Here's what we tried: Steak Tartare: 1/10 - Hated it. Worst steak tartare I've had. It tasted literally ONLY of capers and mustard. We couldn't even see the color of the meat. Even our waitress said it was so inconsistent and sometimes bad. Keep in mind they did comp this which was very nice of them. Whipped Ricotta: 9/10 - Okay this was AWESOME. The pita bread was soft, the ricotta was smooth and sweet, and all the toppings on it were just perfect pairings. Chefs kiss. White Bolognese: 5/10 - Pretty mid/bland. Just kind of tasted like pasta with Alfredo sauce and some meat. Eh. Truffle Fries: 5/10 - Standard fries. There is parmesan and truffle at the top but none on any of the middle or bottom fries, so you don't really want to keep eating them. Brussels: 8/10 - Lovely fry on these. They tasted very rich, but could've had more depth to them in my opinion. More crunch perhaps, or even a zingier sauce. Beef tenderloin: 7/10 - I mean it was good beef, but nothing special. The steak just kind of tasted like an average cut of beef. The au jus was good, though, along with the mashed potatoes. Chocolate cherry cake : 4/10 - They offered this to us for free for our anniversary, but I didn't love it. The chocolate flavor was super mild, and the cherry was kind of sickeningly artificial. Not for me. See what I mean now, by inconsistent?
