Becoming one of my fav Nashville happy hours. Happy hour daily until 8. There is parking but it can get crazy so be prepared. There's an indoor and outdoor section and usually they're playing music so it's a great vibe. You order at the bar and start a tab there. The happy hour tacos are 2 for $10 and they were pretty good. Go Cherries for creating a chill third space!

Finally made it to Cherries in East Nashville and loved it. The ample parking alone is a win, but the vibe really seals the deal the second you walk through the door. You order drinks at the bar when you arrive, and seating is first-come, first-served, which keeps things relaxed and easy. The bartender was lovely; I ended up having two thyme cocktails, both fantastic. We also ordered the fresh guacamole, which was flavorful and perfectly done. Overall, great energy, friendly service, and a spot I'll definitely be back to.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I have seen it everywhere on social media. I decided to come here with a friend of mine for a post birthday HH celebration, was looking for a chill vibe. I love that the parking is free and super easy to get to. The restaurant is super cute and there's a cute outdoor area where they have heaters when it's cold. It was pretty chilly that night. We decided to remain inside. There's plenty of seating. You ordered at the bar and the staff was very nice and help. There were plenty of options for their HH. We got the wings and guacamole, and my friend had a whiskey drink and I had a margarita. It's super cute for a solo date, date night or group (large or small). I want to come back with husband on the weekend.

This was such a vibe coming here! I had my first experience last night and I loved it. First of all, the ambiance is awesome and the service was great. They offer happy hour each day until 8pm which includes drinks and food. The tacos were so good and I recommend the chips and guacamole. There is a surface lot for free parking. I recommend the house margarita as well for your drink option.

Cherries is such a fun, laid-back spot. The drinks are always good, they have a daily happy hour, and it's the kind of place you can actually relax and enjoy yourself without it being too over the top. Perfect for a casual night out or starting the evening with friends. Definitely a solid Nashville bar to keep in rotation.

Service, vibe, and crowd all good fun. Two separate bars and seating is different. Indoor is definitely more intimate

Cherries is such a fun spot in Nashville! Service was great and the sultry cherry-red theme sets the perfect vibe. We tried the Before Sunset and Buck Cherry cocktails along with fresh guac and chips--everything was delicious. The outdoor area is spacious and adds to the ambiance. Definitely worth a visit!

Come here for a drink with friends! I loved the buck cherry! Would come back for that drink alone but their other cocktails are also great. The prices are reasonable and they have nightly specials. There is an enclosed courtyard and outdoor bar as well. It can get busy on weekends but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and we were about to grab a table within 10-15 min of getting our drinks.

Margarita and old fashioned. Great happy hour and great vibe.

Great happy hour! Would recommend for casual drinks and good vibe. Margarita and old fashioned were quality!

I've been a cherries fan my whole life. In true millennial fashion, I decked out my first car and flip phone with cherry decor (insert nerd emoji)! I also just got back from a trip to Michigan where I enjoyed all kinds of cherry-flavored treats from Cherry Republic. I say all this to preface my review by admitting I might be a bit of a cherry snob. So when I heard about Cherries in East, I was genuinely thrilled. I pictured a cherry-forward cocktail bar filled with a full list of creative drinks that celebrated cherries. Unfortunately, that isn't what J experienced. To be fair, the space is absolutely gorgeous. The moody red lighting, lush greenery, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating creates a very decadent vibe. It's the kind of place you want to fall in love with. But I was honestly surprised by how few cherry-themed options were on the menu. I ordered the one cocktail with cherry in the name, the Buck Cherry, and had it made with Four Roses after a great chat with the bartender. It was light, flavorful, and refreshing. My only disappointment was the garnish - a basic maraschino cherry. For a bar called Cherries, I had hoped for something a little more special. A Luxardo, a Woodford Reserve, or even the Amarena cherries from Trader Joe's would have added a touch of richness and intention. Instead, it felt like something I'd get at a chain restaurant. If you're going for ambiance and aesthetic alone, this place delivers. But if you're hoping for a true cherry-themed experience, you might leave a little underwhelmed, like I did. I didn't try the food, so I can't speak for that. I may return, the prices were fair, esp. for Nashville.

This is such a cool bar. They have happy hour 5-8 weekdays and it's pretty good. The guac was delicious. The chicken was tasty but I should have informed them to fry it hard. The bar tenders were very attentive. They have these cool devices that keep bugs away if they fly indoors. They have a patio that opens to outside. Parking is free and the lot is big. Drinks were perfect. I'll be back for sure!

This place quickly became one of my favorite girls night out cocktail bars. I love it because it's not in the middle of the hustle and craziness of downtown and Broadway. If you're a local looking for a place where you can truly just hang out without all the tourist this place is great! Also if you're visiting and your Airbnb is nearby, I highly recommend this place as a pregame spot before you head downtown. The cocktails are beautifully crafted and taste so good & Their small bites have yet to disappoint! The bartenders are always really nice and you never feel like you have to fight or beg for their attention. They make it a point to get to everyone, which is something that I absolutely love!

Cherries has a cool and chill vibe and is a great addition to this side of town. I really liked the patio, there's a covered patio and an open patio. Also indoor seating. Lots of space and tables were spread out. Good for a large party. I wanted to get the frozen passion coquito but they didn't have it and instead had a frozen cherry drink (hence the name of the place haha) and that was pretty good and refreshing. Normally I'm not a huge Cherry flavor person but this was really good. Food was okay, I'd probably skip the food and just get drinks and chill. I got the pesto chicken panini with cheese and it came with a side of chips. The panini was nicely pressed, but the flavor was just alright.

Geist was amazing!…read more The atmosphere is truly one of the best in the city, especially when they have the place decorated for the holidays. On top of that, our server was hands down the best we've had in a long time. The drink menu was a little limited, but every cocktail we tried tasted really good. We started with the Caesar salad, and honestly that was the one miss of the night. It had a bit of a weird taste to it. Everything after that was fantastic though. I got the lamb chop and my fiancé got the filet, and both were cooked to perfection. For sides, the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts were standouts that I highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

We've had some absolutely amazing food in Nashville thus far, and I really wanted to love Geist…read morebecause the space is absolutely beautiful and definitely gave a great first impression. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and two iced coffees. The coffee was good but the food was, honestly, borderline inedible and not at all what we expected. What was even more disappointing was the response when our server asked how everything was. We were honest and told her we didn't like the food. Her only response was, "Awww," before walking away. There was no offer to make it right, no follow-up, and no manager checked on us. When our table was cleared, our plates were still nearly full. For a bill of around $100 for brunch for two, I expected much better food and customer service. The beautiful setting wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing meal and lack of concern when we shared our experience.

Stumbled in here after dinner to their one year birthday party and it was awesome!…read more Very lively band (The Magi Music) and half off specific menu items. What a great way to check this place out for the first time. Very cool 70s/underground/hipster vibe. So much going on, good for everyone. Dance, drink, have a bite, relax in the conversation pit. It was pretty packed but we managed to have quick service. The happy hour meal deal looks great so we'll be back to try it.

So I normally only review fast food restaurants but I have to do this…read more I'm sorry I really tried to like this bar. The layout and aesthetic is great. It has so much potential to be cool but it just fails to deliver. Me and my girlfriend have been there three times and each time we say to each other "maybe this time it will redeem". Here's a brief rundown. 1. First visit- we came right after they opened and were excited because the location is amazing. We had some drinks and were dancing and were threatened to get kicked out by the bouncer because we "might hurt someone". Mind you, the bar was almost empty since they just opened. 2. We met up with some friends there for a couple drinks. For reference I'm more of a beer drinker and I understand that close company is primarily a cocktail bar. I was mocked by the bar tender for trying to order a beer at a cocktail bar, which I don't take super personally. It's whatever. My girlfriend who is very into cocktails orders a dirty martini, which they pour premade out of a bottle. That's lousy for a cocktail bar. 3. Came back again. Had some pony beers (I know better now) and my girlfriend had a martini which I will say was great and much better. We close out and my tab was 150$. Something's clearly wrong. They had charged multiple shots of tequila and another random drink on my tab which the bartender very kindly removed (thank you who ever are). Short story long, if you want a dark packed bar with poor service and broadway prices... go to Broadway.
